Central Park: what do users think?

Nella McDi: We knew that we weren’t going to be able to do the whole park with the limited time we had. We visited the last Saturday in June. We started at the southern end. With a quick visit to the Plaza hotel. Someone online had suggested doing the park in this order and it worked out fantastically. Our first stop was Gapstow Bridge, it was beautiful with the city skyline as a gorgeous backdrop. Woolman rink was the next stop which had an enormous number of tennis courts.Central Park carousel was very nice. Went down to the Mall, there is a bandshell and bunch of buskers. We really enjoyed Bethesda terrace and the fountain with the backdrop of a lake, beautiful setting. Wagner cove has the bow bridge, a couple were getting engaged while we were there. Strawberry fields was very nice, not what I expected, I thought it would be a huge open area but it was a treed area very peaceful had lots of benches. There is circle on the ground that says imagine that people get their picture taken. There was a young lady Star span, had a great voice and sang Beatles music By this point we were hungry and still had a good chunk of the park to go. We went to the 72nd street diner and split a grilled chicken sandwich. It was amazing and best of all reasonably priced. They had an awesome selection of foods. Would definitely come back, wish we had a place like that back home.We stopped at the ladies pavillion to have our lunch, they had covered benches by the water and best of all there was a gentleman playing music and singing. It was awesome.Walked through the ramble. Then went to Belvedere castle make sure to climb the stairs to the top, it is free to get in. Beautiful scenery from both observation decks. Walked past the obelisk and behind the met and walked to the Guggenheim. We did that all in 3.5 hours with some breaks to sit and have lunch. Central Park is beautiful, so many different areas to explore. I’m sure we just scratched the surface. There are so many benches all over the park and many artists playing and singing scattered all over. We saw people selling water, fruit cups and ice cream. I was expecting to see actual food venues, maybe they are in different parts of the park that we did not go to. So if we came back I would pick up lunch before coming into the park so that we could avoid having to leave the park to get food.It is an amazing park that you could visit again and again. We had no time to actually go into the museums, maybe the next time we are back.

Denize Rc: Que grande, de ahí me fui a The Met

Julio Cesar Davila Valero: Excelente experiencia. Si tienes condición es mejor. Si no la tienes, es buena oportunidad para empezar

robert wakeland: If you're going to rent a bike, rent an E bike at a shop instead of city bikes. You'll get charged a little less, and the regular bikes will tax you if you're not used to it. The experience was so enjoyable to cruise through the park.

Carlos Ureña: A wonderful place.

이자인: Anytime except winter! You can often meet the raccoon family!

Binyamin Elkouby: One of the more famous parks. It's all loud noisy and smelly in the streets of Manhattan, walk into the park and 2 minutes later all that is replaced with a lot more peace.Restrooms: They have every couple of minutes.

vu nguyen: It's beautiful, so many things to see.

miguel toubes boo: I love visiting central park

Fufu Rodríguez: Oasis in the middle of the city, it is just as I expected it to be, to take pleasant walks or do some sport

Orlagh D: Looooooooooove this amazing park. There's always something happening, a song, a show, an act to watch while strolling along.

Park Terrace Hotel: what do users think?

Mic Vas: Excellent rooms, clean, modern and not too small compared to other hotels we stayed at. NO Mini fridge...free coffee but no longer free continental breakfast.Gym is very small but clean.Best location...close to everything. Excellent terrace...

Niamh Droney: Located on Byrant Park…there’s always something on in Byrant Park! This hotel is a couple of minutes walk to Time Square and 5th Avenue. Subway station down by the hotel. In the middle of everything, yet quiet at night. Great friendly staff. Love this hotel 10/10.Rooms: Super room with views of the Empire at night! Spotlessly clean!

Jojo Serrano: Beautiful first stay at Park Terrace. East to get to the subway and right in front of Bryant Park. The staff at check in made everything easy and recommended restaurants in the area after a late flight. The host and bartend are the lounge we’re great as well!

The New Yorker Hotel: what do users think?

Paul Hall: I never stayed at this hotel.

Bertie Watkins: I know usually people only do bad reviews when they're angry but this is just a bad hotel. For the price you get bad service, hallways that feel like the shining and a hidden fee of an extra 200 dollars they don't tell you about when booking. On top of that the rooms aren't even that nice. I'd very much avoid this place. It's a good location but the metro service is so good in this city there's really no use in staying this central.

Brian Arcand: Not really worth the money I spent. When I arrived for check-in I was upgraded to a renovated room with a view. The renovations were shoddy as tile work was loose in the bathroom. Additionally, the room was smaller than what I originally booked and there was no view. So it felt more like a downgrade but yet I paid more. I was also wondering how clean the room was after I discovered old food in the refrigerator. The refrigerator sat on the floor like an afterthought. The TV was hung crooked and wires hanging down. I will probably not return to this hotel.

Penny Lindsey: Had difficulties getting checked into the room. Apparently the clerk needed to see the second persons ID, not the one who made reservations, for security purposes. Rooms were tiny, musty smelling, bathroom had paint chips on floor. Bathroom ceiling was chipping and behind bathroom door bubbling and chipping paint. Person sitting outside of our room with a six pack of beer and food. Overflowing garbage can outside of our room. Someone riding a motorized scooter on 25th floor through the hallways. On an early departure witnessed and heard security letting people in to elevator access without room keys. Then was charged 3 times the amount we were quoted for the room. Nice location, good view from room. One night stay not worth the room rate, over charging and the chaos and potential security issues.

Al Shack: I paid $627 for a room no bigger than a shoe box, with a view of the back of the building. There was barely enough room for the bed, The room was extremely dated and looks like the decor hasn't been updated since Tesla died here in 1943.They also take a ''deposit'' from your card that you get back ''upon checkout''. Its been 11 days now, and i'm still waiting for mine despite a few gentle reminders that have been met with excuses. My next step will be a lawyer if its not resolved. They're fast enough to take your money, but don't seem to enjoy giving it back. Upon leaving the New Yorker i travelled to Hollywood & Las Vegas and no other hotel took money from you they just took your card details.Don't believe that you have to stay in Midtown to access all the tourist spots, Take advantage of the Subway system and stay somewhere much nicer for less money.

Arfhan Othman: not bad for a hotel in NYC a bit old but all requirement are spot on. what a view from our room

Dara Coulter: , gave no effort to help us when we had a problem with our room to switch, OVERPRICED! good location but there are better hotels for cheaper in the same area. overall NOT pleased with my stay and i have 3 days left👎

Mark Salisbury: and the room rate was pretty high. Add to that a $75 plus tax early check in fee instead of paying to check bags

Archer Hotel New York: what do users think?

Cristine Peters: Me and my boyfriend we stayed 4 days in NYC and we booked in advanced our stay with you. It was my fist time visiting this awesome city and we celebrate also my birthday. We arrived at the hotel before 11 am and we were very warm welcomed by Derrick and another lady at the desk. They were very nice and helpful with a very good humor. The room we booked was a king bed I think the standard one. I expected a little bit nicer view, but it was cleaned and it looked very good maintained. We meet every day Derrick and he was taking care of us, he was making sure everything is ok and we enjoy our stay. Big surprise was, that we received a bottle of rose wine to our room and we wanted to say thank you Derrick and thank you to all the team members. I also enjoy the sweet treats we got it every day. The rooftop bar is also very nice, we enjoy it. Just it was little disappointed that it closed so early. We also did one day happy hour at your lobby bar and we liked it too. We had today very early flight back home, so we asked for a wake up call and just to be sure someone come also to our door to ensure we are awake. Thank you for all this exceptional service.

Michelle Wasserman: We arrived before check-in time, left our luggage and returned at 3pm to check in. Our room was not ready at 3pm and one didn’t become available until 3:20pm which was unacceptable after a long day of travel. The room itself was small but nice, with a fantastic view of the Empire State Building. Cleanliness was so-so with a hair in the shower.

S M: to cover anywhere from Broadway, 5th onwards.Food & drinks: Food been fab each and every time we've eaten there.

Vincent Anthony: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the hotel with the fastest elevator service in the city. Over 5 days including the July 4th weekend, the longest wait was 10 seconds with most waits being ~3 seconds. The rooms were superb and the bathroom was of great size. Room service accommodated every morning sleep-in and performed service in the afternoons while out exploring the city. You honestly can't beat the location either, with close proximity to Times Square and all subways trains. Overall a must stay and I can totally see why this hotel was rated as one of NYC's best hotels a while back.

Justina Wenger: Specifically chose this hotel because it said it had valet parking. It did not. As a disabled woman this was very upsetting. I would have stayed elsewhere that would have been more convenient to me and my needs. It have to pay ridiculous prices for a garage off the property was ridiculous. Don’t recommend. Also the beds were very uncomfortable none of my party slept through the night.

Mallory Rossen: I picked this hotel based on the location and proximity of everything we wanted to see in the city. Easy walking distance to subways, food options, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, and Central Park. The check in process was seamless and our room was clean and we appreciated the AC fan we could keep on all night for white noise. Beds were very comfortable although we didn’t have a fitted sheet on the bed. Only a normal sheet that would sometimes pull up and the mattress would show. But the room and bathroom had the space we needed for a 3 day trip.We visited the rooftop bar on a Saturday night and were able to get seats right away. Service was a bit slow to have a waiter take our order and then to receive the check. Our last day we were able to check out and leave our luggage with bell service who also handled ordering a taxi waiting for us upon leaving for the airport. Would highly recommend and stay again!

Siobhan Quinn: Excellent location. In Midtown, close to subway and restaurants. Easy walking distance to many attractions. Friendly and helpful staff and very comfy beds. Only small issue that undersheet on king size bed was too small and could not be tucked in so bedding tended to wrinkle up. Very clean.Rooftop bar was super. Great view. Reasonable, tasty food.

Ace Hotel New York: what do users think?

Melissa Melo: Amazing customer service by the whole staff, but a special thank you to Jesus who went above and beyond to make sure we were happy!Service: 5/5 …

Veronica Van Gogh: the exceptional go the extra mile hospitality 2

Wesley McDonald: Beware walking into the bar while it is bright outside. Darkest public room I have ever been into. Once my eyes adjusted though it was a good spot. Would return.

marina pelosini: of a beautiful residential building but above all of the Empire State Building. Obviously equipped with hot and cold A/C. The hotel does not directly provide the breakfast service but by accessing from an internal door there are only two rooms, one for having an "Italian" breakfast: croissant

Kyoto Luchi: 10/10 no se tiene el nombre de Portgas D. Ace

itzamia: Like a lot of hotels, this hotel will hold a deposit. I booked online, got a good price and knew I was going to pay an extra 40.00 for the room for whatever fee they charge everyone for whatever reason. What they don't tell you until you get there is they are going to hold 200.00 and you're not getting that back for almost a week. So now your stuck in New York City, you can't cancel your room or you'll lose that, and you're 200.00 short from what you planned on using that for while you were there. These surprise holds is unethical and needs to be upfront before the room is purchased. If i didn't have that, I'd be sleeping at the train station while my 300.00 room I can't use stays vacant.

1 Hotel Central Park: what do users think?

Joanna Brown: Don't know about the hotel but the restaurant was excellent. Best steak in new york. Also lovely locally sourced fish.Hotel highlights Great value …

Hans-Peter Ketterl: Great very nice hotel.Concept implemented very sustainably and consistently.Unfortunately very high price level.

Kyle Lewis: Rooms: super comfyNearby activities: plenty of restaurants and shoppingFood & drinks: The bar is super slow.

Breanna Viljoen: This hotel was very clean and had great service! The rooms were just like the photos and offered close proximity to Central Park, 5th ave shopping and walking distance to time square. The shower was great and the beds were firm. They had fresh apples for you to grab anytime and umbrellas for use in the lobby.I cannot say enough how pleasant our stay was here.

Liz Nica: Service was impeccable! We were greeted by a very friendly front desk representative from Miami and his manager Marlon. They could not accommodate a room with a view as they were all taken but provided an alternate beyond our expectations as well as a bottle of prosecco! Having stayed at 5 star hotels, this was the type of service lacking in other hotels. The staff here are either well experienced or well trained to provide 5 star service. Even the housekeeper Rose who saw me in the hallway let me know she was there to help me in any way.rooms were very clean with high quality amenities to make you feel at home. I slept very well for being away from home. The hotel is walking distance to theater, Central Park, great restaurants, and shopping so location is fantastic. I will definitely be back!

Louis: Great time , clean fresh great service. Beautiful view overlooking Central park.Rooms: Rustic yet tastefullyNearby activities: Central park

Kaan İnan: Burada 8 gece konakladım. Organik bir otel . Suları musluklardan içmeniz özellikle tavsiye ediliyor . Ben çok beğendim . Temizlik çok iyi . Yeri central parkın karşısı .

The Sherry-Netherland: what do users think?

William Clinton: A few years ago, I came to New York to participate in an event and visited the 18th floor of this hotel. The elevator attendant was very friendly, and the security guard standing at the door seemed to know us and greeted us politely. A few months ago, my friend was taken away by the FBI from the 18th floor and detained for three months without committing a crime. This is a polite and smiling gentleman named Miles Guo.

Steff1: Wir hatten ein tolles Zimmer. Der Aufzug wird noch durch einen Fahrstuhlwärter bedient.

Karen Clarke: Rooms nice but couldn't get one with view, very limited facilities, gym decent but not lounge area or place to sit and have coffee.Rooms: Very nice and roomy

WZSAQG WX: Grandpa Guo is the real Santa Claus. He gave Miles Guo to the earthlings.

Everett Lydecker: Very professional and expert customer service.

Sener Sonkaya: We stayed twice this hotel. one of America's most beautiful historic hotels. The hotel and rooms are very clean, only in some rooms there is noise from the air conditioner at night. the employees are very polite and helpful but one of the employees in third party restaurant they work with is very rude and not helpful.

Zuzana Bubnova: I have made the booking on this hotel based on the very positive reviews I saw here. I placed a special request/question. Even after three reminders the hotel has not replied. I would not mind if they just informed me that they were not able to fulfil my special request, but replied! However, there is complete silence. I believe they do not care about the guests. I am cancelling my reservation, I do not trust their service any more.

arash Hasanpour: high, and was noted as the tallest apartment-hotel in New York City when it opened.

Staypineapple, An Artful Hotel, Midtown New York: what do users think?

Evan Valle: Wonderful hotel just a few blocks from Penn Station and Times Square. The rooms are so chic and the bed was beyond comfortable. Hotel staff were so accommodating and willing to help make our experience even better after there was unrelated guest issue down the hall. Staypineapple will be the only place we stay at every time where in NYC!

Laura Maloni: Would stay here a million times over. The staff was incredible and so personable! I was so happy to see that pineapple outside at the end of a long day! I knew I was home. Would stay again!!!!Rooms: Clean, cute, and with purpose! Great use of space and decor!Walkability: Quick walk to penn station or port authority bus terminal! Easy access to midtown, hells kitchen, madison square garden, times square. its in the heart of it all!

Erin Kossivi: So many cute little details like pineapple infused water, one free beverage coupon for each guest, and pineapple cookies in the lobby. The beds are very comfortable and rooms were impeccable. It is walkable to many areas in Manhattan. The staff were very helpful. They stored our luggage both before we checked in and after we checked out. We would absolutely stay here again!Rooms: Extremely clean, comfortable bedsSafety: Locked for use with room key only at 7pmNoteworthy details: Pineapple infused water and cookies in the lobby; coupons for one free beverage per guest

Z Mac: The hotel was clean and cute and comfortable. The location is great, close to restaurants and the Amtrak train station and subways. The 2 stars is not about the hotel, but the environment surrounding it. The city needs to help the mentally ill, the junkies, and homeless. Walking to and from the hotel, you have to be aware. It’s truly sad and the situation must be hurting the Midtown area. I love New York and I will continue to visit, but I’m staying far from midtown.

Danette Rodriguez: We had a great experience at Stay Pineapple. Hotel is very clean, the bed was comfortable. The staff is amazing!! We were treated very well. They went above and beyond. In a very convenient location. Loved the pineapple touches. We enjoyed it very much. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.Rooms: Small but doable.Nearby activities: Times Square, Hudson Yards, Madison Square Garden, Train stations, Herald Square.Safety: Completely safe.Walkability: Completely walkable.Food & drinks: Food is everywhere you turn.

Judy Goddard: Wonderful, super clean, quiet. Walking distance to breakfast places or coffee places. Great pizza place on corner. Great spot for walking to time square_12 min or any other sites to see. I am 70yrs old so walking 5 km every day to see sites was easy from this hotel. Coffee in morning and afternoon. Excellent friendly and professional staff.Rooms: Small, but clean and had everything you would need,as your out touring all day and fall into bed exhausted. Beds/pillows so soft comfy. Best I've had in a hotel. Quiet

Ann-Christin Weber: , aber viel Müll und zwielichtige Gestalten in der Umgebung.

Daniel Tan: Staypineapple in Manhattan offers a stylish experience with an unbeatable location. The staff provided exceptional service throughout my stay. However, it’s worth noting that the room size was relatively small for the price. Despite that, the contemporary design and convenient location make Staypineapple a solid choice for exploring Manhattan’s attractions.

Winlla Watson: Rooms: Clean and great valueNearby activities: Accessible to time square, Madison square garden, madame tussauds and much moreSafety: Great security measuresWalkability: FantasticFood & drinks: Lots of eateries close by

Chase Bunting: Was a great location to get in and out of Manhattan to Newark airport fast. Empire State Building and Times Square within 15 minutes walking distance. Only wish we would have asked for different lighter sheets cuz the room didn’t get cold enough for what we had, so we sweat a little midway through the night. Best to sleep with earplugs too because the soundproof windows can only do so much. Our king size bed was comfy and the upgraded glamour room was spacious enough to not feel cramped. Loved the bathroom, just wish it had a fan. We took Dash the puppy and a mug home as souvenirs.

Gansevoort Meatpacking NYC: what do users think?

Laura Simon: The Gansevoort is conveniently located near the main NYC Google offices. Walkable to the Chelsea Market and other fun spots. The hotel has the standard amenities and is definitely a step up compared to some of the hotels in the area but also not luxurious. The doorman and front desk staff are always kind & informative & I like the rooms that look out onto the street. Typically very clean & fairly quiet - ask for a room away from the elevator! Their top floor lounge and sushi restaurant have incredible views & are at times booked out for events. But if you can grab a drink on the top floor, it’s well with it!

SSM: A wonderful experience from beginning to the end! Nicole at check in was most gracious and accommodating! 9th floor very end of hallway! Fabulous room, spacious & stunning view! Beds super comfy, room in top top shape, very clean. Fabulous location! A++

The Beekman, A Thompson Hotel: what do users think?

Tony Han: . Large TVs in both rooms

Gaz Haste: that made me uncomfortable and worried about how they treat my private information.

Ade Sogbesan: During my recent trip to New York City, I had the opportunity to experience the Beekman Thompson Hotel, booked via American Express' fine hotels and resorts. This grand establishment perfectly captures the historic charm and modern comfort, providing an immersive NYC experience. The hotel is beautiful, nestled amidst the city's hustle and bustle, offering respite with its elegant rooms and opulent interiors. My room was well-appointed with all the modern amenities, tastefully decorated to ensure a blend of luxury and comfort. The staff was warm, attentive, and helpful, willing to go the extra mile to ensure my comfort. They also offer a free chauffeured ride around the city in an S-class Mercedes Benz. However, my otherwise stellar experience was somewhat marred by an unfortunate misunderstanding regarding the breakfast. As an Amex user, I was entitled to $300 worth of breakfast credits. However, I only received $60 in credits and was disappointed to learn that the "complimentary breakfast" did not extend to in-room dining. This oversight seemed out of place in a city known for its customer service. I addressed this with the manager, hoping for a resolution or even a clear explanation. Unfortunately, I found their response unsatisfactory as they did not offer to credit the remaining value of my breakfast. While I understand policies are in place for a reason, I believe this could have been handled better to alleviate the confusion.Despite the breakfast debacle, the Beekman Thompson Hotel is a sight to behold and is a premium stay option in New York. The hotel's Atrium, a beautiful space with a soaring ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows, is imposing. I recommend this hotel for its location, room quality, and general service. But, dear traveler, clarify the breakfast policy in detail if you book through American Express's fine hotels and resorts. Your morning cravings may thank you for it.Final verdict - Four Stars: Exceptional stay with room for breakfast improvement.Pros:Beautiful hotelFriendly staffComfortable roomsAmazing viewsCons:Unorthodox breakfast crediting systemRooms: QuaintNoteworthy details: Walkable distances to the parks and subways. Have a dedicated chauffeur within 1 mile of the hotel free.

Akram Hussain: We booked this hotel for our anniversary, mostly because of the pictures of the interior architecture and the 12pm checkout

Masa Kanayama: First time visit. Very good stay here. Staffs at front desk are very polite and professional. As a Hyatt globales I was upgraded to a corner room with a view. Thank you for this enjoyable stay.Second time stay one year later Again good hotel services and the location. Breakfast was also excellent. This time I was upgraded to a junior suite in the back of the hotel. Small window spaces and rather dark room. I wish to be in the different room category. So I was little disappointed in this stay. Overall good stay. I will try to stay here again.

Shravan Sivakumar: Great stay at the Beekman! A really nice property partnered with the world of Hyatt with a luxurious experience. The interiors were quite vintage and give you the vibe of 1800s. The upgraded king premium room was neat and had no issues. The temple court/bar room had live music playing all Saturday afternoon and is a really nice place to hang out. Felt the service could be better in that restaurant part of the hotel. Food was average at best. Did not try the le gratin which looks like a significantly better place. Overall, recommend staying at this place for a weekend trip. Elevated experience with a nice welcome kit with the FHR of amex/ WOH status.

George Ellsworth Turnbull: Eclectic hotel for bohemian taste tucked into the FiDi of New York City. Iconic reinvention of the old Queen Anne style Temple court into this hip palace of design contradiction woven into comfortable surrounds. Temple Court ... now bar and breakfast lounge oozes charm and sophistication. Hyatt House New York/Chelsea: what do users think?

Derek Frank: , he told her she was beautiful. She then told him she was married, then he put his phone down and motioned for her to put her number in it. I immediately alerted our travel coordinator

Tony Lam: Service at front desk is fine. Daily cleaning is also reliable without missing any replacement of towels. However, breakfast selection is limited and it ends at 9am on weekdaysRooms: Drawers of the cabinet keep on opening up by themselves. Kind of spooky 👻. No HDTV channels on TV so don't watch any programs at all. Bed is comfortable and so are the pillows.
