New York Marriott Marquis: what do users think?

Lil Black: Good stuff

Nathan Cohen: Nearby activities: Near many Broadway theaters, and Junior's Cheesecake is across the street!!!Food & drinks: Very good, but very overpriced!

Melanie Webb: I went to the hotel for a Convention that I was attending and the location was great. The rooms were okay. If you don't have a room by the elevator be prepared to walk far to get to your room. Also, the restaurant was absolutely ridiculous for the price of food $23 for a lunchmeat turkey club sandwich and maybe a handful was fries. No thanks

Jonas Oldendorf: aber gut gelegen und echt beeindruckend.

Cheri Scott: Stayed with a couple of friends to ring in my 70th birthday. Best room and hotel ever, and I have traveled a lot. The staff was excellent and friendly. Room was A+ I will most definitely be back. Loved the location. We had a late check-out so left the cleaning lady a well deserved tip. Thank you for making my b-day memories even better. God bless you all.Nearby activities: Looking out the window and seeing Time's Square right there and the billboards. Great breakfast place was Starlight all waitstaff are up and coming Broadway stars 🤩 loved it being song to while eating.Safety: Felt totally safe.Walkability: Everything we had planned was walking distance or a Uber or short subway ride. Best of the best location.

Francisco Diaz: Best location - I attended years ago at Jacob Javitz and this was far better location!Walkability: Close to port authority and so many shows and other attractions

Martina: The hotel was great! The place was new and clean and the service was fast. The location was ideal as it was right next to Times Square! Would go again!Walkability: Everything was close by!

A améliorer.

Mercado, restaurantes, target, starbucks,Le pan quotidien,Whole Foods … à uma quadra!Food & drinks: Buffet café da manhã incrível!Serviço no quarto também delicioso!Noteworthy details: Elevadores rápidos!Sempre chegam em menos de 5 segundos!

O L: ‘oh, that’s in New Jersey’Me: ‘yes’Concierge: ‘well, how do you want to get there?’Me: blank stare…. ‘Ok thx’I just asked some dudes and we finally took a Lyft there.Bottom line: pay for the location but don’t expect much more service than the Motel 6

Joanna Brown: Best city hotel. Perfect location and really lovely staff especially doormen, poryers, concierge and bar staff. Breakfasts were very good. Evening menu not great but several excellent restaurants within easy walking distance.Rooms: Our room had view of central park and we could see the 4th of July fireworks. Good size room and proper Bathroom.

Sakshi Sinha: I hold very fond memories of this hotel as I had stayed here the first time i was in New York. The stay this time was okayish, I was surprised to see the rooms had chipped of wood from the drawers, the reception staff were really not interested in helping us out.And there was an old meal kept in our room fridge from the previous resident’s which stinked up our room and despite complaining about it they didn’t remove the food.I’m giving 3 stars for the housekeeping staff for keeping our rooms clean and the bell boy who were very hands on helping us.

New York Marriott Downtown: what do users think?

Aaron Stallings: I don’t typically leave reviews for hotels unless they are horrible. However, this hotel was amazing. The cleanliness, the location, the staff, everything was top notch. The room we had on the 37th floor had an amazing view of Lady Liberty! The beds were perfect and comfortable. The linens and pillows were great. If you’re looking for a place to stay, I definitely recommend this spot. And ask for the harbor view!Walkability: Walkable to everything you want. Super close to the WTC memorial.

Mark: Great service and great rooms. 👍Rooms: Spacious and great looking.Nearby activities: Great eats on every corner.

Jason Tai: Great location around many nyc downtown attractions! The building is old but the interior was renovated ✨Enjoyed the stay, amenities and their top floor lounge.*there’s NO pool in this hotel anymore. The image on Google Map was years ago.Nearby activities: Seaport, Brookfield place, World Trade Center, Wall Street, 911 Memorial Museum, Park, and more.

Vanessa E: For a 4-star hotel, I expected more. No slippers nor water available in the room, so should have planned better to buy water ahead of time instead of going outside late at night to find. The television in rooms have limited channels, no movie channels to relax at night which is surprising. I’ve stayed at hotels with less stars that have more channel/programming options, and also have a microwave, which my standard double room did not. The shower also doesn’t have the best water pressure but that may be standard? The rooms are spacious however and lots of light sources. It’s also in a GREAT location for the financial district, super close to walk to World Trade Center and oculus, very convenient in that sense, but as a 4-star hotel, I wasn’t necessarily impressed. I also stayed in a room that didn’t have a view, just of building walls next to us, so maybe a nicer view of the city would have added to my experience. Also, reading these reviews, I wasn’t made aware of any $25 fee/credit we get for any amenities… so that’s interesting. Will ask.

Heidi Töller: , nice large rooms, of course also a coffee machine 😊, bistro & bar in the hotel, also a Starbucks!!! which does not open at 6.00 a.m. or 6.30 a.m. as announced, but only at 7.30 a.m., but still nice 😊 Incredibly central location around the corner from One World Trade Center! A small supermarket is also nearby.

Lisa Koivu: We had a room with two double beds and it was surprisingly spacious for NYC. Recently remodeled, it was very clean. The bathroom was quite large. I couldn’t hear anyone in the hallway at night. Helpful and friendly staff.Neighborhood is great for 9/11 or financial district, otherwise it’s a bit off the beaten path. But, nothing a quick cab ride can’t fix.The only thing slightly strange is that they charge you $25 - like a resort fee - but then you get a $25 credit to use at the restaurant or sundry shop. There was nothing I needed so I used the credit to buy a small bottle of wine.

Andrew Murphy: Hotel experience was sub-par to other hotels that sit at a lower price-point and/or 4-star rating. The HVAC system rattled all night long; the body-wash was completely empty; there was no glassware provided; no robes are provided. View from the room was only saving-grace but that matters little when the primary motive is to rest and get-ready for the day. Front desk didn't even ask how the stay was upon check-out.

Victoria Nguyen: I stayed here for 5 nights. The rooms were very clean and modern. I loved the ample outlets and USB slots for charging. That’s very important to me, especially by the beds. The housekeeping did a great job cleaning every time. Even when we put the DND notice on the door, they still called to double check to see if we needed anything. The concierge lounge was awesome. The view was really nice and looking over the water. The ladies who work in the concierge lounge are so very sweet and friendly. The location is really close to the 9/11 memorial. It’s a little far from soho, Times Square, Chinatown. So if you’re in town to go to those places, you may have to end up Ubering if you don’t want to walk 30 mins to get there.

Marsyita Mohtar: I had a fantastic four-day stay at Marriott Downtown NYC. The hotel's location near the World Trade Center and Financial Center was incredibly convenient for my visits to the NYC branch office. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. Although the beds were soft and comfortable, I do wish the view from my room was more captivating, as it overlooked a neighboring apartment building. Additionally, while the property felt slightly dated and sterile, it did not detract from the overall positive experience.

The Chatwal, a Luxury Collection Hotel, New York City: what do users think?

Mark H: Located less than a block from Times Square. Super easy access to Hell’s Kitchen by walking and the rest of Manhattan by subway. Ended up being upgraded to a Junior Suite with a street view. Staff was very nice, and the doorman was very welcoming bringing luggage in and up to our room. A little expensive, but I definitely recommend this hotel.

Kathy Emmeline: My partner and I celebrated our 11th anniversary at this gorgeous hotel. We live in Brooklyn, so it was easy for us to get to. The staff is beyond attentive. They were so kind as well. They constantly asked if we were thirsty and offered us water or lemonade. It was raining during our stay. The staff let us borrow their umbrellas so we wouldn't ruin our date clothes. The pool and hot tub is small but comfortable. The water did not have chlorine so my skin was grateful. I wish more hotels had salt water pool/hot tubs. It felt amazing. The woman who manned the pool area was a sweetheart. She gave us towels, cold water bottles and had a great conversation with us. I hope all employees get a bonus or a pay raise. My favorite was the bathroom though. It had a Javanese bidet and a soaking tub! It's such a treat when my whole body is actually summered in hot water.

Ava Toca_Boca: . From my window, I could hear and see people

Seneca Adams: Best hotel I have ever stayed at.

Carolyn Giardina: Alluring decor with an exceptional staff! This is my favorite NYC hotel!

Sundar Vanchinathan: A classic boutique hotel in the right place of NYC. Location, location, location, service. The hotel is located within walking distance to the subway, shopping, restaurants, bakeries and more. Although close to Times Square, the rooms are completely isolated from the noise and lights. We were welcomed to our room with a nice bottle of wine, a bouquet of flowers and snacks. If you are looking for a large gym or Spa amenities, this is not the place for you.Rooms: 4 of us stayed in a suite on the 9th floor with a king and a queen bed. The bathrooms were appointed well with rain showers, Frette towels, Illy coffee and Asprey bath products.

Brock “JB” Angelo: First class service and ideal location for visiting the city. Room service for breakfast is recommended and affordable. The first hotel I’ve stayed in with a bidet. Gotta love that.

Jack Scarborough: One of the few very nicest hotels I've ever stayed in and I'm a 77 year old very frequent travelerRooms: Beautifully furnished and appointed, and VERY quietNearby activities: In the middle of the theater district, very easy walking distance to all Times Sq theaters

Debbie Odgers: was instrumental in making sure a care was waiting for us and all of our luggage safely loaded into to care to take us back to LaGuardia for our departure. I will never forget my trip to NYC nor the exquisite Chatwal!!!The room was pristine! The decorations, the wonderful amenities, the view, the fresh flowers everyday could not have been better! The location was centrally located near Time Square, Broadway, and tons of shopping.

Sidney Greenberger: is that most rooms in the hotel are not equipped with bathtubs. If soaking in a tub is your thing

Paul Mensi: Incredible! It’s been since 2012 since I have stayed at this impeccable hotel. Centrally located within walking distance to Broadway shows. No need to worry about hunting around the city for food … The Lambs Club is on the opposite side of the beautiful lobby and has everything you would want from cocktails to high end dining to delicious burgers. The entire staff is so friendly and what a nice surprise to be upgraded to their spacious junior suite. The room has all the amenities you would need and is extraordinarily well appointed. I will be back!

George Dushaj: Relaxing 😎

Nicole Marie Kantha: Elegant and very friendly compassionate bartender truly an amazing soul.

Valerie Hill: The Chatwal has a very welcoming atmosphere, from the time you step out of your taxi and are greeted by name by the Doorman, to the time of your departure when the Doorman takes your luggage outside and assists with your transport, and during the days of your stay. The Reception staff are super friendly, offering bottles of water whenever you head out for the day's activities and asking how your room is. I feel very safe at the Chatwal as a solo female traveler.

Chad Knapp: Excellent location in the heart of Times Square and close to everything, BUT also super quiet at night. Unbelievable that they balance that so well. We slept extremely well Friday to Sunday at night.Completely comfortable from the super attentive bellhop to housekeeping, butler and turndown services to bathrooms, closets, bedding, and lighting to the gym and spa services. Absolutely indulging. In hotel restaurant, The Lambs Club, and Upstairs bar, along with a Lobby bar made getting delicious food and drinks so easy. Then the whole feel from furnishings to decor to nice touches like a small coffee bar every morning in the elevator lobby made this EASILY the BEST hotel in NYC that I've ever stayed in.I'll be back. You can count on that!

Elena Kang: Extremely friendly and accommodating staffs

arie g: Prime location in NYC, near to Times Square. The room is big, comfortable bed, clean bathroom.Rooms: Big and comfortable room

Bev Miller: Upon arrival, we were promptly greeted and checked-in. The hotel is nice and clean. Our room was also clean and equipped with a mini fridge. There is a bistro/coffee shop inside that serves drinks and small bites. The location is perfect for visiting Times Square, which is a very short walk from the hotel. The hotel is also surrounded with many eating options, 7-Elevens on every corner, as well as souvenir shops. It's also a short walk to Penn Station, at Madison Square Garden. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay while visiting Manhattan NYC!Nearby activities: Close to Times Square, Penn Station, Madison Square Garden, Little Island, Hudson Yard and the water piers.Safety: A key card is needed to gain entry to the hotel and to operate the elevator up to the rooms. The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park: what do users think?

Leah Hon: Amazing staff, location and atmosphere. The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable. The only thing is if you book through a travel agency don't expect a requested room with a view. Call the hotel directly. We asked for a room with a parade route view. We didn't get it. But that wasnt to hotels fault. You can watch the parade at the club level but you have to pay an extra $600 dollars for 2 people.Rooms: Rooms are clean, beautiful and the bed is very comfortable. Also the rooms are so quiet.Safety: We felt very safe in and around the hotel. Al was the most amazing Ritz staff member. He made our trip even more amazing. Loved him!!Walkability: Central Park is right across the street and time Square is only a 20 minute walk from the hotel.Food & drinks: Delicious breakfast and coffee. 24 hour room service too!!

Denise Gallion: Location was great. Door staff was excellent. I thought the couch in the room was very uncomfortable. Everything was clean and in good condition.Nearby activities: Right across the street from central Park. We walked to times square, Broadway, Rockefeller plaza, st. Patrick's cathedral. It was a great location.

Sophia S: Nice hotel, nice room and friendly doorman and concierge. The lounge experience was quite bad.

Anonymous: Called my wife an unauthorized guest when she was supposed to be on reservation, didn’t pick up phone twice when I called to address, generally rude/arrogant staff, toilet used and clogged after turn down (I.e. we didn’t clog it), food …Read more on The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park

NYCinApril: Reviews are very accurate...large rooms for NYC. There are definitely some employees who tend to cater to an elite group but otherwise the concierge service was extremely helpful. I must have clean bathrooms and unspotted carpets so this hotel did the trick for us!!

Denyse: A wonderful visit with our family. Perfect location and beautiful rooms.

NancM: We had an opportunity to experience the Ritz-Carlton in New York City.It is everything and more of what you’ve heard! You are treated like you’re their only guest! Friendly, professional staff greets you throughout your stay! Best staycation ever! We’re planning our next stay!

MikeG: Our stay at the Ritz Central Park was, as always, perfect. Beautiful place, the best location in the city, and of course that famous Ritz service. Nothing could be more perfect

MarthaCameron: Excellent everything.the room was great, and well kept.the guys at the door was pleasant a beautiful hotel

Paul E.: EXCEPTIONAL! The team at the ritz central park gives a level of service and positive attitude that leaves you in shock. My girlfriend and I were celebrating our four year anniversary, and we made a note that we were both vegan. The General Manager Douglas, the chef Andrew and the pastry chef Anthony went out of their way to make things special. The actually went out special to find tofu and vegan meats to make us a hot tofu scramble and delicious vegan bacon and sausage. Andrew’s preparation and presentation was impeccable. And, this morning, the pastry chef Anthony brought us our homemade vegan biscotti, along with extra for our flight home. Amazing! Besides the food, it was just the “over the top” service. For example, I asked Daniel the concierge if they had an “Edge” shaving gel, because I forgot mine, most hotel shaving creams cut my face. He said he would take care of it. To my complete surprise, I went outside to enjoy the the sunshine, and saw Daniel hustling up 6th ave with my gel. Amazing, unprecedented service. The front desk staff, the restaurant managers, and all of the concierges were amazing. We will absolutely stay there again, and highly recommend it to all!
