Padmini Mehta: My bf and I went in here to purchase a box spring after purchasing the mattress from them and the Cuban guy has the worst attitude. We were told the price of the box spring was $45 when purchasing the mattress. We came back 4 days later and the Cuban guy told us it’s $85. He was speaking to us as if we were trying to scam him and we were lying. We would’ve just paid $85 if he didn’t give us such a hard time and yelling at us as if we’re kids. Nonetheless, I went to a furniture store on 88th and tonnelle and paid $139. I didn’t care even paying double because the guy who owned the store was extremely nice. It’s not always about the price it’s the delivery. It’s how you talk to your customers. The lady’s in there are super nice! Just stay away from the fat old Cuban guy sitting on the chair.

J. Diego Taylor: Buyer Beware!!!We purchased a high top kitchen table set from this location and it is a piece to junk. Not only was the mark-up on the price ridiculous, but, after a few months of use, the table top is already chipping ain’t. Moreover, they didn’t even put together the chairs properly. When we complained, they pointed to a small “sign” about the size of my hand, hidden behind some flowers near their register that they use as a safeguard from “special order” complaints. The owners/employees refused to assist us in any way and made it clear we were not welcome to bring our complaints. We have since stopped trying, but it could not go without being said-this is clearly not a store that values customers. It is a sham shop that overcharges for junk. You’re better off going to IKEA, or anywhere else but here.
Desi American: Totally fake stuff I bought sofa set with original leather,dining table set tv stand and bedroom chest all of them got broken sofa set leather color coming out dining table polish and chair got broke chest also broke i also got the 5 years warranty plan from them but after two years i call them every single day they sent two time different workers to my home after a year non stop calling but still everyday they ask for my address and phone number to resend a new worker after remind them dont go there I suggest you dont buy furniture from any local store go to branded shop like macys they will listen you 100%
nivia gomez: I only came here because my friend recommended it. The reviews are true, my delivery didn’t come yesterday and I called to confirm and they had attitude. Said they would call me at 5 or 6pm. I asked if I need to exchange something if I could they said it’s too late. I just hope they got my order right. I’ll share an update.

Ended up getting the furniture delivered 3 weeks late. Parts were missing and had to go get pieces out of a floor sample myself.Delivery guys rude and don’t know what they doing. They scratched the walls and hallway because they didn’t give a f***Would not go back there again!!!

I took pictures of the items I wanted to sell and submitted them. In less than two hours they responded with what they would and would not accept. They scheduled a time to review and pick up the furniture. The movers (shout out to Christian B and Janel) were professional and efficient. I have held a star because my piece has not sold yet so I can not speak to the end-to-end process. So far, I have been satisfied.

T Joe: Not much of attention when I walked in. Not welcoming or eager to help. Every employees at this location has very cold shoulder.
Taylor Stapleton: This store has a great shopping experience. Sales people are there when you need them, but not bothersome or pushy. It has many options that are available for immediate shipping, and it is really easy to determine which pieces are available in which materials and fabrics.
Ya-Wen Yang: I recently bought a Paris leather chair and ottoman in smoke color. The items delivered with dis-matched colors; what the worse is the chair has strong chemical off-gassing which cause me sickness. I even can't stay in the Family room where the chair is placed for more than 10 mins. I called the customer service and requested taking back the chair as early as possible, however, they can only arrange the taking-back after 3 weeks despite the fact that the off-gassing remains strong and causes dizziness/nausea and sickness. I bought many pieces of furniture from R&B, but this time I am very disappointed with the quality control and customer service of R&B

They offered alternate solutions to the issue, including a full refund. This sort of service is difficult to find, especially these days.I have purchase from Room and Board prior to this and found it to be always positive.
