NYC Department of Social Services: what do users think?

Zavannah Goode: They NEVER ANSWER THE PHONES AND PEOPLE HAVE SUCH NASTY ATTITUDES

Gabriel: If the staffs don't want to work they can please just quit.

Sergei Shidlovskii: No help. Go away — Best review for all who wabt to get some help here.

Lauren Bailey: On 1/16 of 2023 I lost my job. I knew I wouldn’t have money for rent and I also knew I wouldn’t have money for food. On that day I went online and filled out everything necessary. I only filed for a one time rent assistance . It took almost 30 days to get my interview and on the end of the HRA it still had not been completed as of 3/13/2023. I physically went to the office where I was told my situation was not only NOT an emergency, they could not find any of my paperwork in the system. At the time I visited the center , and this was two months after filing. They claimed to not have received my snap application, which is untrue because it was filled out in January. They then tell me the HRA is still within their 30 days to make the decision. I received a letter a week ago saying i missed my interview. I called over a dozen times to interview and when I finally got someone, they didn’t seem to know what they were doing. You guys have truly dropped the ball and I look forward to sharing this with the attorney general.

lynn guillory: This is a financial outfit... thieves

Maria D: It’s completely sad to see how they revamped the systemTo make work for these workers easier yet the clients are left to fend for themselves no one should have to be subjected to attitudes of those who do not honor their work don’t like it let someone else do it with a smile. I’m tired of needing assistance yet treated as if I’m unworthy of the same system I paid taxes too.

Erica Benjamin: There is fraudulent practice in this department. A group of individuals are using this department to rob thousands of their assistance and they blaming it on skimming. Skimming doesn't provide this wide spread through all county. This department and individuals information has been hijacked by insiders of this organization. There is Racket going on from the I side.

Jacob: No answer and voicemail is full, why am I not surprised...

X X: I would like to thank Adina Claris for care and help to restore my elderly mother insurance coverage. Her help made the whole process much easier.

New York State Office of Children and Family Services: what do users think?

R T: The New York State Office of Children and Family services has lost its way to put it kindly.Frankly these people are a joke and should be publicly shamed. Shame, shame shame !This is the group responsible for the recent mask mandate for 2 year old children attending day care in NYS. Words cannot describe how fraught with currption and absolute neglect of the facts this group is. The frustration of parents all over the state has reached an all time high. We must band together! This obsurd overreach of government who has failed this State and country must not be tolerated. NYS OCFS WILL NOT make decisions that would involved the well being of our children. May god have Mercy on your souls. !!With utmost profound feelings,Completely and utterly disgusted American and Parent

Pat Reilly: wont let my my kids use their phones at after school programs, pretty funny actually lol

New York City Human Resources Administration - Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program: what do users think?

Josephine Bryant: Doesn’t do there job’s and closes case without looking 👀 through it

Karbie Barbie: It's cleaner than alot of the other welfare buildings

Ray Os: This center are very rude and may also will do our recertification on time but they are holding on you application for more than 30 days to process our recertification

Richard Grizzell,Jr: Helpful Staff

Vonfranklin Tucker: If you are polite they will be polite.

Savage_ Ross11: Staff are so freaking rude for no necessary reason,, the wait it’s insane, no matter how early u get there, u always end up getting out of there past 4,, The staff dont start calling people till past 4/5 pm.When they know it’s almost time for them to go home. Its insanely ridiculous 🤬

Victoria Aitcheson: Staff is very rude. If they would have better attitudes and communicate a lot better, the day would go so much smoother. The same wag they don't want to be there is the same way we don't want to wait all damn day and then to get someone who is rude and nasty. Its a shame your in the field of helping people and you carry such a negative attitude.

Khadeja Depasqua: This place is horrible. Waited 3 hours and missed a whole day of school just because they didn’t want to do their job smh

Iris N. Garcia: Day 1: 2nd fl. These stars are for ALL the hard working people of this office.Day 2: 1st fl: In and out; all I needed for the next step of my journey; executed with efficiency and humanity. Thank you. ING

Bradley Persico: Human garbage

Manuel P: This place is pure garbage. Long waits, rude guards, entitled unprofessional and lazy staff, rude people, stupid ticketing system, poor information provided, clients are treated with no dignity........

Nese: The workers that work here are very rude and and the wait time is ridiculous

Josheary Figueroa: You Always have To Wait Ridiculously Long and No matter the Time That You Get There, If its Already Past 5 They Won't finish your Application that Day .

NeNe Boo: They leave you on hold for 400 yrs!!!!!!!

Ana Cabral: They treat you like garbage and you give them documents and it never shows up in the system.

Brooklyn Food Stamp Center: what do users think?

Tracy Shakur: Fast n clean and good service

Burgas Gutierrez: Good place

Sandy Frias: Compare to the snap center I’ve been to this one it’s pretty good. Great customer service. Cleaned, and modernized my experience was positive here. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. The rep was kind and very considerate to my situation. I wish all the centers reflected this one. Great job guys 🙏🏼

Rachel odwin: Man trying to get in touch with this place is very hard try waiting 12 hours on the phone just for them to hang up on you . I am in desperate need of assistance and they keep closing my cases for documents that was uploaded just for them to say they never received them

Linda Wilks: I didn’t get the outcome I wanted but the service was fast and efficient. I was in and out in under 10 mins. The facility was clean as well and cool. Well needed on such a hot day.

Angel Rivera: Really packed inside and overwhelming

Pepper Luis Andino: Where I ended my, ebt...

Abdiyl Sadduddin: This specific location is #1; Great from what I know much of, personally.

Don Robinson: Place is good

Gabrielle Robles: The supervisor was extremely kind and helpful but the worker at the front desk I had to speak to first was very disrespectful. She threatened to close my case because I asked kindly to speak to her supervisor. “She’s not going to say anything different so i don’t know why you want to talk to her, she’s not going to want to talk to you!” She should be fired immediately for her treatment towards people. The supervisor did indeed help me with my issue and if it wasn’t for the rude worker they’d get 5 stars.

Ron Showout: This s**t makes no sense that I was on hold for 3 hrs nd 45 mins .. and still was holding until 10 mins after closing time. The day before I was on hold for 2 1/2 hrs no one answers returns calls. What’s the point in having a number to call if no one answers

Happy Said: The supervise practiced the worst act of racism with me because I’m an Arabic and a minority in this country when I ask here for a manager she refuses to answer me or call him.

Hudson County Department of Family Services: what do users think?

Annie Moy: They need to hire more people that are knowledgeable and would DO their job with better customer service. Not rude and lazy workers. Also, should have half rotate their lunch break into 2 separate group rotation time. How they have the whole staff go on their lunch break at the same time at 11:30am and make everyone who have been on line waiting to be seen, wait til they return from their lunch break. It's so unprofessional in how they serve their county.

Carolina Perez: These people never pick up the phone. You literally have to go in person to get in touch with any one. At this point I wonder why they even have phone lines. They should just get rid of the phone number and make it walk-in only.

Stace Staxx: Still confusing and seems more unorganized than before

SocialMedia T.V: These people are the worst individuals & very unprofessional

Lissa Mota: This is so so sad. I can’t get in touch with anyone.

Lucero Roca: I was on the phone for an hour and a half, and when they picked it up I could hear how they were talking to each other and one of them sounded like she realized that I was "hello, hello" and I cut off the call. I don't know what level of education or preparation they will have.

Judy Monteiro: I am a landlord who is experiencing a TRA tenant for the first time. I had a horrible experience dealing with my tenant's case worker Tatyana Reed. I was skeptical about how this whole process works especially because I was asked to sign a lease without getting a security deposit and first months rent. Ms. Reed gave me a promissory letter stating that I should sign the lease on May 25th and that I would receive a prorated amount for the five extra days that the tenant needed to move in.The first default that happened was instead of sending me the rent for June, they sent the check to the previous landlord. Now I had to wait for that land lord to return his check before my check was issued. In the mean time I started to feel like I was being duped, I would call the office to make sure that things were going well with the paperwork, only for my calls to be ignored or answered with an attitude. Finally after a month, I received my security deposit and June rent. When I asked about the prorated check for the five days in May, I was met with hostile Ms. Reed again who denied making any statement about a prorated check. I went into my emails and guess what, all communication regarding prorated checks. showed the subject line but couldnt be opened.(were they blocked to cover up someone's error? I dont know but luckily, I had printed out the promissory letter. Now we had Mr. Kevin Callahan, her supervisor look at the case, who put the entire responsibility of payment on my tenant.I wouldnt have signed the lease if it werent for Ms.Tatyana Reed's prommisory letter. A very disappointed landlord here.

Maritza Jose: In general, it was a good service, the lady at window 3 talks to you as if she were scolding you but still gives the necessary information and gave me the form that I had to fill out to later send it along with copies of the required documents by post or take it directly . The waiting time is minimal and the processing of my case was very fast, the answer came to my house in 2 weeks

No Where: These people are the worst. Whether you deal with them over the phone or in person, you choose in which way you would like to be degraded. Whoever gave these people a 5-star rating must work internally. The way these horrible case workers disrespect their clients is as if they the ones digging into their own personal bank accounts to pay for our food. Snotty atmosphere with rude temperaments is all I can really say about this sad place.

Dani Dach: Unprofessional staff.

Nick Velez: love the help

Brooklyn Medicaid Office: what do users think?

Joseph Butler: Very good details to get me when I’m gone thank you

Linda zabala: Today more than 2 hour on waiting and never the phone. There is just few of them that Care for people’s need others even hang up the phone and they don’t provide their ID number.

Danny Alvarez: The worst customer service I have had in my life has been in this office, the Latino man from window 12 who attended me on July 4, 2023 at 2 pm, is the most disrespectful person there is, no He has problem-solving capacity, he doesn't know anything about what he's doing and he talks to you rudely. Please avoid being served by this man so you don't have a bad day. And if they can avoid going to this office better

Csmthll Crl95: needs total revamp

Jorge: Very attendant excellent service

victor beltran: Good services

Bryan Tomlinson (BTDesigns): The worst for disabled

Salome Worch: Very kind and considerate staff. It would be nice if they could fix the display screens, so when the numbers are called we could see them visually, too.

New York City Human Resources Administration - Dyckman Job Center: what do users think?

Tearose 135: This place is one of the worst places if you need to have any type of help when it comes to government assistance. The staff is on a turnaround rate. Terribly fast. Unfortunately because of that they have no idea about any knowledge on the government assistance when it comes to EBT cash, resistance or Medicaid and then when it comes to answering any questions. They then look at you as if you are the problem. If It were these people in similar situation ...they would not be acting so high and mighty and yet so quiet when it comes to anything of issue when it comes to people in need.

Saphire Red: All staff were kind very professional and wait time was not as long like other ppl state.People gotta be patient as they are doing protocols for social distance. Ms. King was very great thanks

Apiadve & Dionysius: Staff is very helpful as in the Waverly Center on 16th Street. However, the Dyckman Center is not as crowded as the Waverly; so the process is a little less stressful. Bathroom does not get as much traffic and it was cleaner.Someone did get frustrated and lost it; but, again...bound to happen since it's a pretty frustrating system. Making people jump through all these damn hoops, but give billions to bankers and lobbyist: When I take over the world I'll fix that nonsense.Trickle down my Aunt's Fanny

Onerine Browning: Great customer service!

Alex Martinez: Did not have to wait for a long time. Was not packed at all

Tomara Gooding: They haven't updated their phone number so you call the building number as listed here and you get a tone dial, they behave like scammers. When you finally find the real number you find that someone is ACTUALLY available to take your call only for them to be rude to you for no purpose at all. To my surprise, someone picked up the phone and even more surprising I was only greeted with a disrespectful and codescending tone. When asked for my case number I wasn't given any instructions on how to find it, despite me asking. And I was immediately put on hold FOR asking. When she came back she was even more rude and disrespectful. Instead of even helping me with my problem or showing any any kind of patience, she asked for my number and because I wanted clarity on which one, she basically yelled at me over the phone! she hung up right after saying someone would call back to help me. How do I have any guarantee if that happening? Because She wasn't even interested in helping me. and aren't these facilities built for helping us? How do we have any trust in that? Guarantee, I won't get a call back. If you aren't going to help support people financially, then at least help us out with jobs so we can do it even better than them. People like this, don't deserve their position, so infuriating. And if you see my previous reviews you can tell I'm not hard to please, everyone has 5 stars from me, except Dyckman job center. Even IHOP and McDonalds and Rainbow. I have no reason to lie to you, these people are immature and crazy, whatever negative energy you have at home or even in the work place, don't bring it to an unsuspecting and kind customer.

Antoine Gee: Very prolonged wait times and staff can be very argumentative and rude to customers with mental health problems and or having a Crisis they caused by not having the proper training of theses ounce snap recipients. The office can do better with calling the correct tickets called in a timely fashion

Linda Ayala: Employees are rude and slow.
