Awoke Vintage: what do users think?

Andrew Lohse: Such good NYC vintage and the jeans section has something for everyone. Staff is super kind and happy to help when you’re lost in their amazing jeans selection

Clay Dillow: Best vintage in NYC ! All of my best jeans and shirts come from here. Jeans selection is amazing and the staff will go above and beyond to get you the perfect fit

Rose Peterson: Carries lots of vintage Levi jeans and shorts. Otherwise has a very whimsical theme, lots of satin and floral.

nicoletta cioria: In general I love the curation of vintage shops in New York, but this is a real insider tip. Huge selection of leather jackets and jewelry, the sales girls are super cute and perfectly Brooklyn style. Loved everything and guaranteed quality vintage shopping.

Meghan Payne: Hands down my favorite vintage shop, the pieces are always unique and in great condition...need Levi's, they have hundreds! Perfect place for a last-minute outfit for any occasion.

M- T-: Always find great things here

Liz Beirne: One of the first places to drop their Covid precautions which is wild given one of their replies to a review says everyone needs to do their part to prevent the spread...got a nasty look/response when I asked if they had an extra mask for my friend even though there's a citywide mask advisory rn. Denim is way overpriced but their sidewalk sale racks are good.

Saskia Maxwell Keller: I love this place. Bought a green m&m jacket that made THE BEST halloween costume. They always have beautiful and delightfully ironic items.

Manhattan Girl: I’ve been coming here for years! They always have a great selection of clothes and accessories. I’ve found some of my most perfect fitting pairs of jeans here. I love awoke soooo much and highly encourage anyone in the area to check them out!!

Gemma Mullins: Amazing vintage store - a must visit! Lots of options for different tastes. I got an amazing Levi’s denim jacket that I wear all the time and some silk tops. Best vintage clothing store in Brooklyn!

Hannah Kinisky: Love both of these locations in Greenpoint. Really nicely curated shops so you know you’re always going to find something great. Lovely staff too. Small businesses are one of the best things about the neighborhood. Thanks Awoke Vintage!

Sergio Tellez Galindo: Found a great jacket here for $125 which I think its great for a fire jackett, bought some funky rings for my mom and found the best sunglasses that I could ever wear but they were $69 usd so unfortunately had to say no after even returning to attempt to buy them, cool store tho

Angelica Berry: nice staff + cute clothing but extremely overpriced. I would love to shop their collections but I cannot afford to. I tried on a leather jacket that I really liked and it was $125+tax, I went home and bought the same one on eBay for $48.

Zola Narisetti: . The music was so loud I couldn’t focus!😕. Their store on the left: the sales associates seemed to be selective about who she greeted

Yunny Hou: Very lovely & neat place for thrifting y2k style and vintage collections in brooklyn! I love how they have such big variety of clothing from different styles to colors, and even their accessories are all super cute too. They have fitting room inside the store so you can try on the clothes too!

Angelique Cisneros: Very rude staff

Maggie Hinchliffe: if you live across the country like I do.

Mr. Throwback: what do users think?

Brendan Wetmore: Ever since they opened, they've been nothing but kind and welcoming. I've picked up countless tees and jerseys from here, and stopping is always on my Saturday afternoon to-do list. It's just a nice, solid place, even if stuff runs a little on the expensive side. I get it though — their stuff is quality.

Akshith Sunkireddy: Got a sweet Larry Bird jersey for my girl for a good price, lots of great sports gear here. The guys there are super cool and helpful, they even convinced me to go to the NBA Playoffs Celtics Sixers game 7 which the Celtics won - THANK YOU

Samantha Morneau: Had this store on my list for ages and finally got to go during my most recent trip to NYC. Staff was so friendly and helpful when I said I was looking for some vintage Jets paraphernalia for a birthday gift. Really cool store and such a great experience, will definitely be back!

James Nieman: This is one of the coolest and most welcoming store experiences around. They have a massive selection of unique and rare vintage sports apparel . Not to mention, the staff is so chill you don't even feel like you're walking into a store, it's more like you're going to chop it up with friends. The best threads and the best vibes!

Audrey Gompf: Got the SICKEST Mets jacket here! they are the BEST

Lorenzo Calzoni: Bellissimo negozio di articoli sportivi usati, il gestore è molto cordiale e simpatico dentro si possono trovare t-shirt canottiere maglie delle squadre di baseball Football basket preferite

Business type: Boat tour agency

Classic Harbor Line: what do users think?
Jackie Koman: Working with Adam on our firm cruise in NYC was easy & the staff the day of were very friendly & the food was amazing!!
Maria diMayorca: This was so much fun! We chartered a boat for our family reunion with open bar and boated around Manhattan by Brooklyn bridge and Statue of Liberty. Levi & Sam were awesome- we loved them. I would 100% do this again next year.
RAFFAELLA ARMILLOTTA: Bellissima crociera: emozionante e da non perdere. Personale gentile, posti riservati, ottimo cocktail e panorama mozzafiato.
Alex S: Had an awesome experience out on an evening cruise. Shoutout especially to Lisa for being a great sailor/host!!
Eva Kocman: Our Boat Cruise with Classic Harbor Line was amazing! The crew working there has an incredible level of guest service and hospitality and they would even ask to take pictures for you whenever you want! We were celebrating a birthday so they made us feel extra special, the boat was so unique and beautiful, it was not too crowded and you really get to take in all the beautiful sights. Definitely would recommend! :)
Lydia Han: We booked a private sunset boat tour for our wedding welcome party and it was honestly everything we could have ever imagined & hoped for.Every single one of the staff members were INCREDIBLE (yes, in all caps!!) and we felt so well taken care of by captain Albert, Jason, Donna, Tim, and Adam from the moment we started discussing the event online, to the check-in process, all the way to the very last minute on the boat. Most of our guests traveled from out of town so they absolutely LOVED it, and even for us New Yorkers who have been living here for a while, when do you get a chance to get THIS up close & personal with the Statue of Liberty?Seriously, doing this boat tour was the best decision ever to kick off our wedding festivities! Many of the other cruise lines we looked at had really mediocre boats (think gross looking carpets and ugly ballroom decor) but Classic Harbor’s boat was classy, elegant and just perfect. It rained for ~10 minutes so at one point and close to 100 of us were inside and there was plenty of room for everyone. It’s not cheap, but worth every dollar in my opinion.Do it! You won’t regret it :)
Allison Hay: We had the most amazing experience during our sunset cruise! Andrew, Shannon and Connor all went out of their way to have conversations with all the guests and give their personal recommendations when asked. Shannon captured some amazing pictures of our group and kept us laughing the entire time! I cannot recommend this cruise enough, just know if you have the same crew it will be such an amazing experience! It’s obvious they love what they do, and they’re incredible at it!
B Tribeca: Informative and entertaining. Birds Eye view with expert information if the architecture of NYC, and NJ. Despite the torrid rain, we had a great time. I have one small complaint. Since the trip departs rain or shine, it’s nearly impossible to see through rain soaked windows. A small percentage of us (me included) chose to brave the storm , get soaked , and viewed the tour outside. We had a ball. Trip can be bumpy at times, and slippery outdoors, especially during the rain I’d do it again , and again.
Mary Sheeran: What a great trip! I've done the sunset cruise several times over the years and am always impressed with the crew. They certainly know their business, and they also make the trip fun and easygoing while at the same time being alert to any safety issues. This crew included Ivan and Chris (it was on Saturday the 15th) - I forget the other names, I'm afraid. I thought it would be canceled because the weather was iffy, but they simply delayed it, checking the radar to make sure it was safe. We had a little rain at first, but they had ponchos for us, and hey, the weather simply added to the merriment. The rain didn't last long, but the merriment did. The weather had all cleared up by the time we got to the Statue of Liberty. What fun it was to wave and cheer at other boats going by - and getting some perspective away from the city - some clean, cool air. The clouds broke and light shone through over the Statue of Liberty, which just added to the pleasant night. This is one of the best things to do in NYC.
Amanda Ace: We did the city lights cruise. Overbooked. The outdoor seating is limited and wasn't nearly enough for every customer to have a seat outside. Who wants to sit inside on a city lights cruise?!?!Took a long time to get our drinks because we were the last table to be served, and as I mentioned - they overbooked. On the booking website they had offered the option to pay ahead of time for 2 extra drinks (the first one is complimentary) and food. I ordered the extra drinks and an appetizer, but we never got the appetizer because service took so long, and as I mentioned - no one wants to sit inside during a cruise!Overall it was an okay experience, but we paid a lot of money for it and it just wasn't what I expected.
Natalya Weinstein: We had a wonderful boat ride on the Adirondack Schooner! The captain and crew were so friendly and knowledgeable. The booking process and communication was easy and clear, and we enjoyed the drink selection on board. Can't wait for our next adventure with Classic Harbor Line!
Chad Fulk: We were very well informed in advance on how and when to get to the location. Check in and boarding was easy. The crew was very friendly and helpful. The boat was very very nice and clean. They took us very close to the Statue of Liberty. It was a great experience!
Farid Ousaci: Perfect
Bonnie Davis: We enjoyed the tour and all the staff were wonderful. We learned so much and were entertained as well.
Alex Heath: Great crew, clean boat, and a fun ride. Would highly recommend
John Handscomb: I've been visiting NYC my entire life and this was one of my favorite experiences.
Avi Robbins: Best way to see the Manhattan skyline by boat. Quaint and upscale boat with reserved table for our party made it extremely relaxing and comfortable. Smaller size made the service very personal and was similar in price to other very touristy options.
Caroline Desmond: Really worthwhile tour on a smaller boat. Very comfortable and our crew were amazing and our guide super knowledgeable. The best way to see NYC from the water while learning about all the landmarks.
Olivier Level: It was a great brunch cruise. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary with our children. The staff was very nice, the ship was very clean and comfortable and the food was very good. We enjoyed this cruise
Suzanne Green: Such a terrific crew. Mark, Maggie, Connor and the captain made our experience on the Full Moon truly magical. The views were amazing, the food was delicious and we felt so comfortable.

Screaming Mimis Vintage: what do users think?

Javier Meléndez: Very friendly and helpful staff. Stock varied and of good quality, in very good condition. All unique pieces. Very well organized, by categories and sizes. The prices may seem a bit high, but they are justified by the quality of the pieces and the city in which this store is located. New York is just like that.100% recommended for those looking for good quality vintage clothing.

David Zapata: My wife and I had a “Midsummer Nights Dream” themed party. They were incredibly helpful finding costume pieces for us. We tried 5 or 6 different ones and settled on a fun fairy and fairy king costume. Wish we could have bought all the costumes. Highly recommended shops with lots of variety and good service.

Natalie T: Had cute items but all of them were really low quality -missing buttons, torn threading, pulled threads, stains, and fake vintage. And it was all extremely overpriced. Could be a good place to go if you’re trying to make a costume though

jesse waits: real vintage shop, not one calling themselves vintage and sale new sneakers and cheap new fake vintage

Lizzie Schaund: Fun place to find clothing you Never imagined to find.

Heather Gray: A bit expensive and I'm not entirely sure everything in there was vintage but it's so cute nonetheless!

Cindy Domingo-Maxwell: Relic that needs to close. Open the door it smells of armpits

Heiheinoo !: Sensationally overpriced “vintage”. It’s overly used costumes, tulle, polyester, junk. I was not impressed. A simple slip was $250 insane. A dirty old robe was $175. I get the concept but the prices are highly unreasonable. Went to crossroads after and had such amazing finds at more than fair prices. They are friendly but it’s just not worth it.

Angelina Ko: My friend likes vintage, so I went there on purpose, but the shop isn't big and things are organized by year. It felt like a lot of regulars were looking for it. I'm not a vintage fan, but I couldn't find anything I liked, and the price range is a bit on the high side. I think it would be nice to go and have a look.

Crystal Lefoy: Cute, but ridiculously overpriced "vintage" items that were worn who knows how many times. The fairy/dancer costumes all looked like items I wore in my dance recitals, yet they cost more than I paid 15 years ago. Same with several other items that I can easily find in a relatives closet that were priced far more than they are worth. If you are desperate and in a pinch, just be ready to fork over a good chunk of change.

Nicole Castillo: Always super nice, helpful , knowledgeable staff. Over the top Vintage Shop, organized racks, Over the decades pieces, vintage jeans, lingeries, eyewear, jewelry, couture pieces etc. Screaming Mimi’s has been around for Yearzzzzz

Nicole: This is my favorite store in the whole city. The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable and super helpful with any questions I’ve had. Everything from costumes to designer, screaming Mimi’s has it all! Definitely make a point to check it out for unique, one of a kind pieces. You won’t be disappointed! There’s something for everyone there and a wide range of prices.

Michelle Kelman: Really cool place with authentic pieces. Important to note that it’s more costumy and theatrical, and on the pricier side. Less for thrifting day clothing

Ricky Vitus: Always interesting finds

Gio Bataglia: Skip this. Used to be great. Pilgrim and Desert Vintage both on Orchard Street, New, mint deadstock, no Vintage store smells and great prices. Especially the unadvertised markdowns at Pilgrim on Orchard. Desert Vintage is beautiful but expensive.

Gabby Hays: Great store with fantastic staff

Robin Bosnjak: Excellente boutique , avec de jolies pièces , toutefois les prix sont plutôt élevés mais

Adam C Johnson: Decent selection of vintage T's and jackets etc. T's start at $25

Sam Hall: I can only comment on menswear but I only saw overpriced old t-shirts and some absolutely worn out garbage.

Jane Beeson: Loved shopping here. Staff were really friendly and helpful- they saw that I was lugging my guitar around and offered to keep it behind the counter for me. Really cool selection!

ina h: Bit expensive, but lots of good items

Anastasia Livaditis: , Carhartt, denim, leather, and more. Highly recommend checking out. Found some great unique pieces.

hello everyone: nice store for thrifting, jackets and everything you would want, but not very affordable. Especially if you’re on a budget

Lloyd Christmas: but they still pressed me.Both of them really thinking that i come to their store in stolen jacket before:

Samantha Gerard: the best. they have everything. for everyone. great place to get a gift for someone that has everything. sometimes pricey but that’s what you’ll find when they’re true vintage tees. they also have more affordable vintage tees. the mecca for vintage tees in my opinion, a must-go while in ny.

Natalie Torres: I shop here for the softest vintage tees. Prices range from $25-65 and up.

Ruwan J.: fantasy island of vintage Ts. there are other vintage clothes, here, too. however the Ts are all that interested me. they are actually categorized and sorted here which will help you if you are looking specific Tshirt genre. the store is pretty deep and goes back with varieties of jackets and other clothes. staff is kinda doing their own thing. the store is clean and brightly lit.

Donghyun W: good product. 윌돤 쥰놔비쐄. 현귬없녀고개산활뙈뮬어봄.

Richard Clegg: Brilliant shop with old skool t shirts.

Naoki Izumo: Really cool clothes

Mallory G: Huge selection of vintage shirts, pretty pricey so be prepared

Dapper Tours: what do users think?

Stuart Thomson: Had a fantastic tour with Will from Dapper Tours. What I can say, is the more you let Will know what you are interested in, the more fun you will have for the tour. We did the DUMBO to Downtown tour, was a great way to see more than we imagined and learnt a lot as well. Best described as one man sharing his love for the city and it’s people - do yourself a favour and get on a Dapper Tour.

Romain Ruaux: Would have loved to book but they don't reply

Eartha A (Earth2Eartha): , and the most unique way I have ever seen New York.My cheeks hurt from smiling so much, people kept waving at us as we made our way down the streets, made me feel totally like a celebrity! But my favorite thing about the whole tour are the stories… I loved these little secret stories about this building or that alley or that neighborhood… tales and anecdotes you wouldn’t normally find in travel guides or regular tours! Will makes everything he does for you so personal and so special, you can’t help but have such a magical time.I did my tour at night, and I would totally do it again many times over, at different times during the day for different perspectives. I could not recommend Dapper Tours enough! Here’s hoping they expand all over the world very soon!Thank you, Will Davis! Will Davis is Life!

Justin Hawkins: I've lived in NYC for over 10years and this is easily one of funnest experiences I've had living in this city! I've always wanted to ride in a sidecar and it did not disappoint. It was so cool to see places I've walked by everyday from a whole new perspective...such a novel experience. My tour guide Will showed me some really interesting places that I never knew existed and was super cool to share this ride with, felt like I was hanging out with a good friend. I cannot recommend giving this experience a try whether your a tourist or a long time resident...AWESOMEService:Private tours

Cullen Riley-Duffy: The best tour ever. Will brings the fun and makes you feel comfortable on his super cool Ural. His knowledge of the city is eye opening and helps you see NYC in a fresh and optimistic light. Loved it!

Eoin Riley-Duffy: Perfect experience! Will provides a fun filled knowledge tour with an open conversation about what you want to know about Brooklyn while showing you all the hidden gems that you could’ve never found by yourself!

Thomas Petit: was really an unforgettable experience and the highlight of our three days in NY.

Tim Grieve: Wow!!! This is hands down the best tour I have been on. Will is a classic Brooklyn man, full of engaging facts and lots of fun. The motor cycles are incredible war time relics, and we were the center of attention everywhere we went.Don’t miss this real taste of Brooklyn!

Brandon S: Tailored, detailed and unique only begin to describe this amazing experience that Will and Dapper Tours put together. Easily one of the best tourist experiences I have ever had period. Highly recommended.

Alicia Marin: , Brooklyn Bridge, Vinegar Hill, Brooklyn Height and the Promenade. Each time, the guides shared a piece of history, a fun fact, a fresh perspective on what makes Brooklyn and NYC such a unique place. Their passion for the city was contagious in those moment as it was their enthusiasm to find the beauty and elegance of NY amid its chaos. Both guides/drivers were gentle, super fun, respectful and good drivers!

Kate Gaines: Took my 14 year old son one morning. Will was fantastic and such fun! We’ve visited NYC a lot and he showed me things I’d never seen before and now can’t wait to come back and check out again!

Romain Poirot: Maybe the most unique way of showing New York to your family visiting! I took my mum for mother’s day.You will learn and see New York in a different angle! Will took great care of us!

Casper Thomsen: Will is a great guy who is very passionate about his work! He does a great job. If you're ever in New York - book a trip! It's fun and educational! A ride in Will's sidecar must be the best way to see New York! Thank you Will!

jeremy clarke: This is not just a tour, this is a mini life-changing event.Bring your foulest mood, your grumpiest partner, your most British weather. And you’ll LOVE it.New York from a warm sidecar, at about 20 mph, will take you by surprise. You’ll see more, experience more, laugh more. Will is the quintessential raconteur host. Jovial, knowledgeable, eccentric and electric. You will not be disappointed.

New York Walking Tours: what do users think?
Luis Padilla: +9k ju "
Mark Gentry: I've done several tours with Mark of New York Walking Tours. The last was to a section of Manhattan's Lower East Side, an area I had never been to and didn't even know it existed. We started out with great (and inexpensive) Dim Sum in a real, non-commercial Chinese area. We had a pleasant walk to the east through a surprisingly quiet and peaceful area of lower Manhattan. We got a tour of the historic Eldrige St. Synagogue, built in the 19th century and fairly recently restored. Walked on to the area of the Henry Street Settlement. Mark was knowledgeable about the history of both locations. He is a friendly, down to earth person with lots of knowledge about NYC. Mark is particularly well-versed in the architectural history of New York. Hoping to take his Upper Harlem tour at some point.

Artists & Fleas Chelsea: what do users think?

SaltyFryMageTv: Not a flea market in the least. Cool arts and crafts BUT no ac and very crowded!!! ://

Nina Krauss: Unique and handmade goods at reasonable prices.

Kirsten Caspers: Bit crowded on a Saturday but nice flea market atmosphere. We bought a pair of earrings.

Rob Ramos: Very cool place, but everything is so over price for what it is.

Libby Conn: Cute shop. Loved all the vendors. High end flea market shopping.

Katie Steckly: Fun.... variety of vendors.

Sirk Johannsen: Well, it's not a flea market.... Great artists for sure but really expensive. The place is a nice thing to see but definitely no bargains to be found. Still, have a look around, you might find something unique.

Susanna McGlamery: Cool small businesses! I bought a few earrings and others. good time be alone.

Portia Clark: Lots new shops

Alyssa Becker: A great collection of local artisans. Found a few lovely sweaters from a small local business that I love - I get complimented every time I wear them. Being able to buy local and support small businesses - that’s the dream.

Julie Bond: Great fun, shopping, eating!

Dan Sugrue: Small but delivers on New York uniqueness.
