Hanoi Soup Shop: what do users think?

Vints Irfin: . Will never ever come back.. waay waay waayy too exagerated!

B M: bowl for half the price. One House Special costs $26 and lacks any reason to warrant the price. Locally I’ve had better, larger, and cheaper bowls of pho in Queens and Chinatown.I’ve seen videos of the what appears to be a bountiful amount of bone marrow but to my displeasure, we received two bones with the bare minimum. There was nothing to scoop into the soup. I’d rather be served a plate of mint leaves, beansprouts, and a lime. The hostess was very friendly, however, I cannot say the same about the server. When I started ordering the dishes, she interrupted and asked if we wanted appetizers. Maybe that is customary here but at least be courteous and wait until the customer is finished speaking before cutting in? I noticed the server was genuinely more friendly and welcoming to the two guests sitting at the table next to us. It appeared as though the non-Asian guests were being treated better. She did not smile and it felt like I was being rushed to pay the bill.

A A: Yummy

Bredgy L.: A nice bowl of pho made Northern style, with thinner and firmer rice noodles than the South. Topped with a deliciously fatty piece of bone marrow and served with some fried dough sticks.Check out @bredgyeats for food pictures!

Naile Ruiz: was also really nice

Jon Tang: This place is hands down the best pho in the city. Not only that, it's the only place that I know of that does a north viet style in NYC. Almost every other viet place in the city is southern style. In terms of the pho, the broth is flavorful but light. The noodles have a great texture, slightly chewy. In my past experiences, pho ends up being a little grainy, especially when overcooked, but this place does it right. Lots of cilantro in the broth and the filet slices are delicious. Their pickled garlic and chili sauce will trump your average hoison and Sriracha sauce.I recommend getting the papaya pig ear salad or crispy spring rolls for an app, and the beef pho with whatever accoutrements you prefer.Been going to this place for years. Love it!

Carmina Reyes: I talked to them on the phone just now, and the kind lady went above and beyond to accommodate my request. Thank you so much!

Phúc Võ: : The vegetables and sauce in the dish were slightly sour for our taste. However, the Nem and grilled pork were satisfactory. The highlight of the dish was the crispy spring rolls.Pho Bac

Nón Lá Vietnamese Kitchen: what do users think?

Chad Larson: Food was carefully prepared and wrapped. Very friendly. Tasted great!

M Warren: and bun bo hue. The canh chua is to die for. Its perfectly sour and savory balance. And also the banh mi is my favorite in the city because they do it the traditional way and the bread is nice and toasty on outside but soft on inside.Vegetarian options: Many dishes have vegetarian versionsKid-friendliness: Casual and kid friendlyDietary restrictions: Gluten free optiona

Genie Bae:

Jonathan Rashtian: Solid pho & great price

Ruwan J.: but the rest of the menu has a variety of different Vietnamese comfort eats. the crispy calamari is really good and easily shareable for a group. ordered the mi xao gion — crispy pan-fried thin egg noodles topped with sauce, seafood, and veggies…simple rich flavors, ample amount of seafood, and pretty satisfying as an entree…really enjoyed the sauce /broth soaking into the crispy noodles so it was a mix of textures and flavors along with the seafood. while the interior space is small. there also a number of tables in the outdoor shed area. the service is always friendly and accommodating.

Sana Ajani: Beef brisket pho was good!

Sarah Wang: Shaking beef is so flavorful and tender! I got the main dish of the beef with watercress, and it was an excellent hearty salad. It was just what I needed after a week of not eating enough vegetables. The servers are also so kind, and the outdoor seating is adorable!

Saiguette: what do users think?

Anton Huber: Bahn mi is fantastic, can‘t wait to get it again. Their prices are also really fair.

David Cao: Great sandwiches

Robert Yuan: Food: 5/5Recommended dishes Chicken Thigh Sandwich

Minnia Feng: I frequently ordered pho from here during my undergrad. Today, I went back and discovered the incredible laksa and lemongrass pork shoulder banh mi. Insanely good.

Marisa Liang: Best banh mi I’ve had in NYC by far. The lemongrass pork is the thing to get here.I just finished my sandwich and I already want another one. Interesting that they use pickled jalapeño instead of fresh. My friend fed some of his bread to a duck and he said that the sriracha mayo was still on it and that the duck found it spicy which is why it went to the water after not for any other reason. All these are photos of the same sandwich. I just really liked it.

D M: The steak papaya salad is drop-dead amazing. Some of the best Vietnamese I’ve ever eaten is here. Fish sauce is top-notch. Prices are good too.

GONZÁLEZ DÍEZ Andreína: Recommended dishes Lemongrass Pork, Lemongrass Pork Shoulder …

Nha Trang One: what do users think?

Eric Vazquez: Truly a NYC gem, best Vietnamese food. Affordable, friendly, filling and delicious.Vegetarian options: Many options available and great morning glory greens.

Leszek Bartkowski: delicious phoEDIT: ok, I just went here second time after 2 months and this time pho was terribly bland. WTH happened?!The flan was pretty good at least, their coffee seem pretty good.

Eric Kobuchi: One of my fave Pho spots in the city. Located in Chinatown and tucked away on a street lined with a few Viet restos, you can’t go wrong here especially on a cold winter day.Only negative here at the resto is AT&T doesn’t get great reception here.

Chappy Dog: Went with my brother and friend. My brother got the typical number 1 at most Pho spots and I can say for sure the broth was good. My friend and I got the mixed bun bowl which had spring rolls, grilled pork, beef, and a shrimp patty. The pork was delicious and the shrimp patty was amazing. One of the better spots for pho from what I have tried in Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan. I would definitely come back. They also take credit card which is a plus.

Sao Mai: what do users think?

john shoemaker: Very good Pho. My favorite thus far in trying about 10 places in 3 years or so.Food: 5/5 …

Bingsu: I came here with a couple of friends for dinner and the food was super tasty for a good price! Staff were also friendly and their cozy atmosphere is a plusDietary restrictions: peanuts allergy friendly

Sunny Ma (Sunny): Every time I visit here, I get a Shrimp summer roll or Fried Calamari for sharing and beef brisket Pho. SO GOOOD!! I am sad that I cannot come here often anymore bc I moved to Queens from Manhattan 😭

Cagedjock: Really good food. I’m Vietnamese and I approve this restaurant.Bánh xèo and Bún Bò Huê were amazing.Service was average and needs to be a bit more detail oriented but still a pleasant experience.

Ian Chou: Doordash order.Sliced pork banh mi ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: at first glance looked a bit slim but was actually really good. Good balance of flavors and wasn't dry at all. I wish they had char siu tho as that's my favorite.Pho ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: pretty good pho as the soup is flavorful and hearty while still being light. As a doordash order the noodles were a bit on the soft side but I'm excited to come and try this place in person!

Tanvir Ahmad: One of my favorite places to get dinner. If you want some pho, this place is perfect in every way. I wouldn't dare to try a different restaurant. The staff was very friendly and the service was pretty fast. If you don't eat pork make sure you ask the waiter what kinda broth they use. Overall the place was amazing. Highly recommended. 👍🤝

Saigon Shack: what do users think?

Wendell Elvonski: After a long day in the city, we ordered delivery via DoorDash. Food came quick and was about as good as it gets for delivered Pho. Would like to try it at the actual shop next time. Would definitely recommend though!Food: 5/5 …

Yeojin Jang: Where I met the worst server of my life!I visited with my two children. As soon as he entered, he shouted that he only accepts cash with a scary face. Other tables don't say that, but I don't know if travelers with children didn't like it. Then I kept bringing other food and it was crazy. With a sarcastic tone and facial expression, he accused me of ordering the wrong thing. I'm eating, but I'm talking about my story in a loud voice with other employees. It was the worst server ever. Other than that female server, they seemed friendly. But good value for money. The rice noodles and side menu were also delicious.

Sonia: Bún chả and sweet potato fries were fantastic! I'm gonna try Pho and Viet coffee next time 😌

David Zheng: I recently dined at the restaurant and ordered their Grilled Lemongrass Chicken Vermicelli. However, I was disappointed to discover that the chicken was undercooked. The texture was noticeably off, and upon further inspection, it was clear that the chicken hadn't been cooked thoroughly. What was even more disheartening was the manager's reaction when I brought this to their attention. Rather than addressing the issue or expressing concern about the potential health risk, they seemed indifferent and insisted that I still needed to pay for the meal.I tried to reason with the manager, emphasizing the seriousness of serving undercooked poultry, but my concerns were unfortunately dismissed.I hope my experience can be a catalyst for necessary changes at this restaurant. No diner should have to worry about the safety of their food or face indifference when addressing valid concerns.

Lauren Gardner: If you are from the west coast, do not come here for the PHO. This is the most underwhelming broth I have ever tasted. And I had put in one of their spicy packet sauces. It was the Saigon Pho Fyi

Himanshu Singhal: If you are looking for Authentic Vietnamese Coffee and True Vietnamese Hospitality then this is definitely not the place to be.Zero care about customer feedback and they are ready to hand you over the bill before even you have gulped down the “Vietnamese Coffee”Buyer Be Beware
