I felt listened to and supported and she was able to prescribe medication for Moose to help him feel so much better. She was extremely empathetic and kind from top to bottom. She is the BEST!! Highly recommend her for your furry friends.If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They run up your bill with unnecessary issues, and never actually get to the bottom of why your dog is actually sick. I brought my dog in for diarrhea, and instead of addressing that issue, they thought he had an ear infection, they were wrong and I still had to pay for it. I had to remind the vet and the tech that I was there for diarrhea, not his ear, and all I walked away with is "we're not sure, but here's a probiotic and a $600 bill". It's now been 3 weeks, and my dog has yet to have a solid stool. During the appointment, they told me they were going to give him an injection for heartburn. They took him out of the room to do it, then brought him back in, and said his heart worm test went great! I'm sorry... what heartworm test??? I came in here for DIARRHEA. FIX THE MAIN ISSUE BEFORE SPIRALING THE APPOINTMENT INTO 100 OTHER THINGS. I do not trust them for one second which is not the relationship you should have when it comes to your pets. If you want your pet to actually get better, DO NOT COME HERE!

Stella Shin: I visited Seaport Animal Hospital a few weeks ago as my dog had chipped his tooth. I met with Dr. Smith who I thought was thorough and great and we discussed the possibility of scheduling a tooth extraction and a general cleaning as a next step.Then during the appointment, after the consult with Dr. Smith, my dog went through a few blood tests, etc and we waited for about 20 minutes in the small appointment room without anyone ever stopping by to tell us whether we can go home or what's happening next. When I flagged someone down, he was surprised that we were still here and apologized that someone should have let us know immediately.Then comes the scheduling - I reached out to the staff immediately after the appointment asking for available dates for the procedure within the window of time the doctor had recommended. They said the scheduling isn't ready yet and that they'll reach out once it is. 3 weeks later - no follow up.Today I followed up asking for an update and available dates. Someone calls me telling me that they're ready to schedule his NEUTERING. I had to ask this staff member to please read through the details of his visit and chat with the doctor then reach out to me as this experience has been extremely frustrating.This is very disappointing as I liked Dr. Smith but at this point, I don't feel reassured about scheduling a procedure with anesthesia for my dog at a hospital that seems so disorganized.

Ericka Nerison: We love Hudson Animal Hospital!! After trying out some popular “name brand” veterinary practices near our apartment, we felt as though we were not receiving good quality care. After visiting this clinic, we are so glad we made the switch! The vet techs are very polite and great with my pup, they even remembered that she gets nervous at the vet and will play with her/cuddle her to ease the anxiety. We see Dr. Kahn who is very skilled and knowledgeable in her practice. She is real with us, assuring, and treats our pup with great care. The front desk staff are amazing too as they always are very responsive either over email or phone. This hospital treats every pet with individualistic care as a top priority. I know this because I have witnessed them open early during their lunch break to give emergency care to a dog in need. I can’t recommend this facility enough and feel so at peace knowing my pup is receiving great care!!
Maria José Ampudia: My recent experience at Hudson Animal Hospital left me deeply disappointed. I brought my dog to the hospital seeking proper care and diagnosis, but unfortunately, the service and treatment fell far below my expectations.The hospital charged me for unnecessary studies and medication.To make matters worse, despite my repeated requests, the hospital failed to send me the test results. it is essential to have access to all relevant information regarding my pet's health, and their failure to provide it is simply unacceptable.Moreover, the misdiagnosis of my dog's condition was alarming. It was evident to me and even to the doctor present during the consultation that my dog was exhibiting symptoms consistent with kennel-related issues, such as persistent coughing. However, instead of addressing the obvious issue, the hospital prescribed medication for a completely unrelated problem, which did nothing to alleviate my dog's distress.
Julio Rivera: They charged us almost $1,000 for x-rays, blood tests and prescribed medicines for something our dog didn’t have. They also didn’t send us the x-rays and blood tests even though they promised they would. It turns out our dog had kennel cough, which should have been obvious to the veterinarian. Kennel cough is a common disease but can be mortal if not treated timely. We’re never coming back.

Vera Newhouse: Hudson Animal Hospital took tremendous care of my aging yorkie for years. He lived 17 years - and 4 years longer than he otherwise would have had it not been for Hudson. Dr's Yoshida and Angiello are compassionate, detailed, and experienced. The staff has always been welcoming, responsive, and compassionate. The whole practice is a gem of a veterinary office - even for the Upper West Side - and I'd never go anywhere else.

My pet and I were not happy with the new management.At that point, I decided to look for a vet in the neighborhood. I was referred by a friend to Hudson Animal Hospital and I couldn't be happier. It is a pricier than other veterinarians, but everyone from the front desk to the doctors are very efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, and loving towards the animals. I highly recommend them!I continue taking my pet there even though I have moved from HK.

They went above and beyond to help figure out what was causing my dogs illness even though he passed away it wasn't from the lack of trying the great stuff at Village veterinary was professional and compassionate. I thank them for everything they did me and my dog. I highly recommend them.
Deanna Melluso: This place has sadly changed since new management. My dog who use to love it here with all the friendly staff did not have the same energy. Prices went up. Staff and the Doctor Dr Marrow basically scolded at me for running a bit late and was told that would have to either reschedule or wait.In all my years going here never got treated like this. Sadly this seems like a place who doesn’t care about the dog. My checkup for my dog was 2 seconds literally. Be aware of staff if you got here.Best Service and caring people you can ask for. Too much to say on a google review. But Everyone that work here are the nicest and attentive people. Nina is my girl and will treat you your dog/cat like her children. Nothing but good things to say and you will be in good hands.

Marissa Mayfield: The front desk person did not look up to help me. She was just on the computer. After a minute I said im ready to check out. I came the next day to get supplies the next day and she did remember me and was not friendly. Did not say hi, Judy’s looked at me like she was confused why I was there. The results for my pet were not explained and the results for the blood exam never arrived. The doctor was not warm to me and my cat was not at ease. This is was a waste of time and money and effort.

Sean Adair: I've been very happy here. Took my last dog well past his estimated lifespan, and now a few visits into my current one. Both big bruiser mastiffs. I think the most important factor is their flexibility to owner decisions. We all want the best of course, but there are financial limits for many, and all veterinary care in the city is pricy. They will guide you to the best decision without predjudice.
Edward Arrocha: I have been going to Village Vet for years. When My Missy was sick, they were great and when her time came Dr. Murphy was an angel. They have been taking care of Tiny Girl since she came and have been thorough and upfront. Never trying to have me take any un-necessary procedures. They are a neighborhood institution, and I am quite happy with them, through two dogs, and a number of years.

carol beasley: The entire staff were amazing. They were so attentive and caring to our older cat who was already very anxious from traveling. Anthony was a total sweetheart and kept him calm while waiting to be seen by Dr. Lee who was also just wonderful as they took care of our beloved cat. We wouldn't dream of going anywhere else for his treatment!
Iman S: The communication for appointments is excellent, taking care of the pet is their priority, regardless of the price of the service. I saw 2 doctors in 2 different times throughout 2022 and 2023. Dr.Lee is my favourite as she is so compassionate and thorough. I definitely will book another appointment with Dr.Lee to complete my cat’s dental extraction workup. The nurses are so tender and sweet, as well as the front desk. I highly recommend this hospital due to their professionalism and experience. Their prices are like other clinics, but with quality.

Both days I was welcomed, my cat was cared for, I was given explanations for what was going on and what might happen next. An extremely positive experience. I saw Dr Hildenbrand and Dr Gi and I recommend them both highly!
olliebrand: My little dog Doug, swallowed some chocolate and even though it was near 7PM they saw us. Carlisle, the receptionist, was wonderful when I called, giving me the poison control center and checking with Dr Sara LoPresti who said to bring him right in. She explained everything to me and induced vomiting, hydrated Doug, took bloodwork, and spoke to the Poison Control vet. The whole staff was wonderful calming me down and reassuring me. Everything turned out well and the next day Dr. LoPresti called me to tell me the lab work was all good. I can't praise them enough for their competence, efficiency and kindness.
