jose antonio duran: The worst service I had received. Nobody in customer service can help you, the locations says open until one hour and the you go and is closed. I call 5 times to customer service trying somebody tell me where to return a truck and finally I have to return it leaving the keys in the mail locker. Nobody helps you in that company, if you're thinking in rent a truck, don't have a nightmare.
Ailema Crooks: Made a reservation for 8am for a moving van. When I got there I was told that the van was not available. Was not given another rental option or any assistance in finding another one. Had to call budget and they were not accommodating either. Would not recommend to anyone!

They overcharged me lying about the truck condition was returned with graffiti, then they tried to lie about how much gas was In the truck and dents they gave it to me with. Do not reserve your truck with this site all they are is scammers!!!!

Marcos BronxStyle Tattoos: Really bad..over the phone my sister called this place various times and every time got a different price for the same truck.she ended up doing the reservation through the internet page cause the person in the actual rental spot was tryng to over charge her from the beginning..the truck we had reserved was given out to another person..so the one we got was a little bigger.which was fine.but also came with a huge problem.bad breaks.the person told us it would be fine cause the truck was driven from florida n nothing bad happened. This change was the day before us picking it up.n when returning the truck we were charged a different price.he told me[ luis delance] that the error was because of the secretary making a mistake.but he was gonna give us a discount.he said he was charging us a certain mileage charge.n when i checked it was more than double the price he gave us.n since i made a mistakr of not taking pictures of the miles i traveled.hes said at first 245...then he said no it was 275 miles...horrible service..tries to be a slick talker to just have a excuse to over charge.

Not matter what; he will try and if he can’t find you a truck , he will find a location for you that does. That’s truly a blessing as a business owner. Sometimes things happen last minute and Edwin simply makes it happen , no questions asked.

Anthony Browne: Highly recommend. I have rented trucks from Chelsea Rental for years. They're always reliable and easy to work with. Usually you can just walk in, though I suggest calling ahead to make a reservation. They do truck repair by appointment too. Overall the best value in NYC.

Eric Pelio: Horrible on every level. STAY AWAY!!!We rented a disgustingly filthy 10' box truck to move some furniture. Customer service is non-existent. Everything is manually written down so if the representative promised you something make sure you confirm it in writing because you may not get it when you get into the shop. We received a truck with seat belt that didn't work properly in the driver seat. That’s not the worst thing. Chelsea Rental makes YOU find street parking in a busy block when returning the vehicle. This is not disclosed until you get to the shop for pickup. Customers must find parking on this small block when returning the vehicle after hours and drop off the keys. If you can't find parking on the same block as the shop, which is nearly impossible, you have to return it the next morning. What a colossal waste of time. Good luck parallel parking a 10' truck in a busy NYC street and having to move it by 8 am the following morning simply because they choose to not accommodate drop offs. This place should be shut down. Only positive is the employee Jordan.

The tall guy was super nice fooled me really!! Times are hard we work hard and this is just not right!! God is good and I leave this o. To him... But it still hurts.....

Khanan Kaikov: Terrible trucks, terrible customer service. Trucks came dirty, windows would not stay shut on the highway - a lot of fun during the winter.On top of that - made me pay for a $95 parking ticket issued after I returned the vehicle which they rerouted to me because they had Drivers License number.Do not rent from them under any circumstances.

Nancy Pop: These people have the most rude and condescending customer service I have ever dealt with. I have never been spoken to with such disregard and disrespect by somebody, and I spoke with not one but two of their associates. Also, they never had the car that I tried to reserve to begin with. Don't waste your time or your money here -- you'll get the same deal and easier process through Expedia. If I could give them no stars I would. Avoid at all costs.
Sacred Jervis: I made a reservation yesterday 06/18/21 for 06/19/21 at 8am. I received a phone call at 8:52am finally confirming my reservation. I had a couple of questions about my rental and all of the additional charges and the woman on the phone explained them but wasn’t very understanding. A deposit here, a fee for background check, a deposit for potential tickets like what? She kept insisting that I made my reservation at the last minute ummmm okay. Then when I stated that I was getting ready to retrieve the vehicle, she said oh the vehicle is in queens. I asked how long it would take to receive the vehicle and she said like 11:30…WHAT? I then informed her that I was headed to queens anyway and asked if I could pick up the vehicle there. I travel all the way to queens and the office door is locked. I call and the same person says “oh your reservation was a while ago maybe he went to lunch.” She calls and then says oh he went to get gas. I waited for about 15 minutes and then I call back and someone else answers and gives me a long story about how there’s only one person working there and that they’re busy blah blah blah. I then asked her to cancel the reservation because my plans were severely affected at this point. I asked her to send me a confirmation of cancellation and she said no because I wasn’t charged for anything. I had high hopes based on reviews but I am honestly so annoyed. I go the extra mile to ensure great customer service and to not receive it for a simple rental is beyond me.
Angie Sanchez: Excellent place. We went to the Fordham location customer service was amazing. They are super nice. Car was absolutely awesome. Very clean and in perfect condition. Thank you so much for made my first time car rental so very nice.
Rocio Mestanza: The staff is very unprofessional, rude and not the least bit interested in helping out future customers. We had full intention of giving this location our business which would have secured them a few thousand but thanks to how difficult they made a simple a request I'll be looking at other option. Good luck trying to get a staff member that will actually help you out!
Jessica Rivera: This is my second time renting a car from them. Gloria is wonderful! The first time I rented from them, I rented a large van for a group and the second time I needed a quick rental for the weekend. Both times Gloria assisted me and I received excellent customer service from her! This is definitely my go to rental spot.

Had a hiccup with the van upon pick up but they worked as quickly as possible to fix the issue and even gave a discount because of it.MG, I believe is her name, was the one I spoke to on the phone to book that van and she went out of her way to get me a lower rate that I had seen the previous day, kudos to her too.Ian on the phone was also very helpful with all details about renting with Empire.Will rent from them again when I need a cargo van for long distances!
Unique one: I would put 0 stars, its lousy only one person here and had to wait an hour. I spoke to a representative and told her I made reservations on Wednesday, its Friday now n told me, " she's not there i cant do nothing about it", and hang up the phone. Also left the business un attended with a sign saying back in 5 min.
Sam Alva: Outstanding consideration and service support. Although understaffed, they still managed to address all customers in a timely manner. Further, they gave vast discretion considering availability and veterans prefence.
Erica Feldman: RIP OFF BEWARE GO TO ENTERPRISE OR ANYONE BUT THESE GUYS ARE MONEY HUNGRY THEY CHARGE YOU FOR LITERALLY EVERYTHING. THEY EVEN TOLD ME TO DEPOSIT THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE CAR THEN I CAN RENT IT! LIKE WHAT?! ALMOST CHARGED ME 2800 BUCKS FOR A 3 DAY RENTAL RUN AWAY!!!
