Manuel Rodriguez Acosta: Just DON’T. It has been a terrible experience getting the certification of authenticity of a work of purchased there. Since I paid for this particular piece, it has been more than a month and they haven’t produced the provenance of it in writing. They are charging me extra to send the certificate of authenticity and still I haven’t received it. Don’t waste your time, energy and money with this merchant. BTW I spoke on the phone with Mr Ro himself and he said I would get it in the mail. Lies. I haven’t received anything yet. Off course no tracking of them sending it was ever presented.One star it’s too much for them.

I think that the price was fair, especially since Robert honored the 10% discount for first time customers. The print was in great condition as promised. The framing was done promptly and was a bargain compared to what I would have paid in Los Angeles. However, the wood is not as deep as is typically used for fine art. The piece was well packed and arrived promptly one week from time of purchase.I have no hesitation to recommend RoGallery to other art lovers.

Robert Condon: The Opera Gallery displays old and new artwork, mostly paintings. Some of the paintings sell for a lot of money. It is multi level with stairs or an elevator. It is a very white space although the space in front of the elevator is dark like a cave. If you ask about a specific artist they have a data base to see what their holdings are world wide. They always have first class works by artists such as Bernard Buffet, Butero, Picasso. Very strong on art from 20th century France. I always stop in on my stroll up Madison Avenue on my way to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Michael Tcheyan: This is an excellent gallery with an outstanding record of exitbiting extremely high-quality work deserveing of appreciation and presented in a best in class manner. Recent show of Michael West is just one example. Also pay attention to the new contemporary division which has its own separate space.

Ten years later, I came back to buy prints, and am still buying to this day. They have the finest and most diverse works of art, for virtually every taste and price range, the greatest service, a friendly and unequally knowledgeable staff, run by passionate generational owners unwaiveringly devoted to their craft. One of these New York gems worthy of its iconic status.
Jay H: A fantastic print shop that feels like you stepped into another world when you come for a visit. The staff is awesome, helpful and you can literally spent all day there looking at the wonderous works of art. Their collection is scattered throughout different floor levels. They support local artists and provide a wealth of knoweldge pertaining to print work. You can easily pass it by walking up Lexington from below 29th st. But if you have a curious nature and your eyes catch things that are unusual, you can't miss their window displays that draw you in.
