Bryce Ciccaglione: I've been to this bike shop for a tire replacement, brakes repair, and other fixes and service. They are always very helpful and friendly. The work they do is great and the turnaround time is very quick. I highly recommend this neighborhood bike shop.

Rebecca Usher: Since the pandemic started, I was looking to get back into biking after a looongggg hiatus - talking 10+ years here LOL. My sister recommended this shop as I didn't want to spend a boat load of money on a new bike, and they specialize in used bikes.The owner took the time to answer the 1000+ questions I had, helped me pick out a bike and accessories, and let me take it for a test ride. The cost of everything was really reasonable. The owner seemed really knowledgeable and obviously had a passion for biking.The cute shop cat was an added bonus.It was a great shopping experience and made me excited to take the bike out that evening! I'll def be coming back for any tune ups or repairs.FYI for those of you who haven't rode a bike in awhile - try investing in some padded bike shorts. Your butt will thank you. I learned that lesson the hard way.

Casey ROSS: I came to Brooklyn Bike Peddler because they have the specific bike I’m interested in purchasing. After looking around and talking to a member of their staff, they said they were interested in taking my old bike off my hands as a trade in. I didn’t have that bike with me so I went home to bring it back so they could take a look.When I got back to the store, though, the owner was really rude to me. Even though there were no other customers in the store and no one in line waiting to come in, he said he was too busy to look it over even though I’d gone home to get for them. I would have understood if they’d checked it out decided they didn’t want it, or if they’d explained that they had a bunch of repairs to get through or something and scheduled a time for me to come back. But rudely brushing me off without even evaluating the old bike was dismissive, especially after I’d made two trips to their shop.I decided I’d rather spend my money somewhere else, so I took my old bike and left without making a purchase.

Leonard Unyime: Exceptional customer service and very accommodating owner. I enjoyed my test road bike test rides. I highly recommend this shop for bikers in the area.
Aaron Dutenhoefer: - and all 11 turned me down because they didn't have the time, expertise, or interest in helping me pack and ship the bike. Imbert and Mike looked at it like no big deal and got the process going. Because it's so large, we had to get it packed and provide proof of the dimensions to BikeFlights for UPS to accept the shipment.It took a few days to do all this, which meant coordinating it all via the phone from Wisconsin since I had to return. Mike and Imbert were both amazing, took care of the entire packing and measuring process, and made me feel comfortable leaving my ride in their care. They treated it like it was their own bike.Also, just listening them interacting with customers in the shop while I was dropping the bike off, these guys are incredible mechanics and very knowledgage about bikes. Make this your only stop if you need a bike or repairs or accessories or shipping in NYC. If they can't sort you out, odds are no one can.
Cassie Elkin: I just popped in to remove my quick release seat, so no one can walk away with my bike seat. And they did it in less than 10 min and for no cost! They are the community bike shop!
