Adventure Scuba Inc: what do users think?

Elisabeth Lonsdale: , snorkeling and swim gear generally. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I took a class

Nolan92: Fantastic dive shop to get any scuba gear you may need and to get your initial PADI scuba certification with the 2-day indoor pool training they do across the street at Asphalt Green. Tom was our scuba instructor and he did a fantastic job showing our class of 3 the necessary skills we needed to learn during the 2-day indoor training. Seth at the dive shop also did a fantastic job helping me pick the right gear I needed to begin my journey as a scuba diver especially when it came to wetsuit size selection. I was deciding between a size Medium suit versus a size Large suit and he stressed I get the Medium suit even though it was more snug and a little less comfortable than the Large suit. I’m sure glad I listened to his advice because being in the water long enough can make you cold and during the training I realized how much warmer I was in the more snug Medium wetsuit. So now that my indoor training is complete it’s now time for to go out and get my Open Water training completed. Wish me luck and once again thank you Tom and Seth of Adventure Scuba. - Nolan

Linette Munoz: Everyone was so kind and they were all super helpful!

Jessica L. Rollén: I did my pool dives here to get my initial recreational diving certification and had a great experience - I was the only one in the class so got private lessons! The pool is just across the street in Asphalt Green. They were very thorough and also patient when I had trouble with some skills.

Angela Fernandez: I did the private one day confined water class with MaryAnne and overcame my mask clearing fears by the end of the day lol. I'm looking forward to my first open water dive in Thailand. Seth was extremely helpful with all my gear!

Pan Aqua Diving: what do users think?

Eric F: Really enjoyed my confined water training with Kathryn. The Pan Aqua staff are welcoming and knowledgeable.

Camron Saleh: Fraser was a great teacher. Smooth and fun experience in the pool.

Franco Storaci: Great

Simon Spector: Great place to go for dive gear and classes. Professional and warm staff, highly recommend!

Rohan Varshney: Pan aqua is the premier, full service diving facility. Through Pan Aqua, I was able to do my confined water classes, open water certification dives, advanced open water certification dives, and nitrox certification. The dive instructors are kind and thoughtful, but also fun and enthusiastic. When it came time to buying some of my own dive equipment, the salesman are knowledgeable and helpful. To add on top, Pan Aqua hosts well planned trips to enhance your diving experience. I went on an adventurous trip to Mexico with some of the staff. Many people ask me how I as able to get certified while living in Manhattan and it was because of Pan Aqua

David Gavant: After several years of not having the opportunity to scuba dive, I needed to reactivate my diving skills with a refresher course. My instructor Lisa McIntyre is simply the best, and her passion for scuba diving is quite evident. Lisa is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and, most importantly, patient. After spending the first forty-five minutes setting me up with a properly fitting mask, snorkel, fins, and wet suit, she then showed me what to look for while inspecting a tank; including how to ensure the air is fresh and what the pressure gauge should read for a correctly filled tank. We then covered attaching the tank properly to the BCD, connecting the air hose to the regulator, and inspecting that the mouthpiece was working before reviewing the remaining apparatus on the BCD. Once in the pool, Lisa quickly had me relax underwater by breathing slowly and rhythmically as she put me through the refresher checklist, which included mask clearing, clearing the regulator, buoyancy floating, removing and reinserting weights, out-of-air exercises, and so much more. I can’t reiterate enough how outstanding of a teacher Lisa is, and I was thrilled how quickly my underwater skills returned after about 90 minutes in the pool. Thank you, Pan Aqua, and thank you, Lisa, for giving me the confidence to return to diving!

J Milligan: Had to buy a basic scuba set-up for my daughter, who is heading to a marine science program soon. We are both total newbies. The staff was welcoming, patient, and seemed to be only concerned with getting my daughter the stuff that fit well and would keep her comfortable for long periods of time in the water. No upselling. We were in the shop for at least 90 minutes trying on things and making sure everything was just right. Spent quite a bit, but when we checked the prices online later just to see, everything was priced extremely fairly. Excellent shop! Would 100% recommend.

A Smith: I came in to browse with my friend and bought some accessories for my gopro. The women working there were super friendly and knowledgable about diving. We also learned all the courses they offer and had great conversation. I highly recommend this place.

Virginia Klein: I always buy buy my lap swimming googles and bathing suits at this store and am never disappointed.

Hugh Eng: Really enjoyed my scuba refresher class with Eric. Met number of other instructors before the classes began. They were very friendly and welcoming. I am deciding what classes I will take next. Very nice well stocked store, and had a great pool to use for the confined water dives.

M DeMarco: CLASSES. I took my open water with them, dry suit, a quick EFR class, and am taking navigation and search and recovery. Oh, and shark specialization, underwater photography and drift diving. So, yeah... I like their instructors. It’s nice that they have the pool right upstairs.2

m ty: Strongly recommend working with this group for all your dive needs. What a great team of well informed people. Helped facilitate my Open Water certification.

Samantha Isom: Excellent dive shop and very attentive scuba instruction. I recommend pan aqua 💯%

Siyu C: Had a great overall experience taking my PADI Rescue Diver course here! The instructor Kathryn was amazing! I had some issues with my fins during the second day of diving, and she managed to work me into the remaining scenarios and finished the course well. I also took my Open Water pool sessions here years ago and it was great too. Highly recommend taking your PADI courses here.

Tom Gerke: I've done both my Open Water certification and just now completed my Advanced Open Water certification with these guys. They are the best. Everyone I've met is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and easy to talk to as someone who is newer to the scene. Thanks for a really fun weekend Frank and Tomas!

hairprofessor hairbnb: Very good place

Jack R: I had a great experience doing my Open Water certification pool dives with Pan Aqua. Karen and Michael were excellent teachers! They were careful and attentive during instruction, and responsive to my questions and requests afterwards. If I decide to get further certifications, they’ll be first on my list!

Treshers: what do users think?

Mihalis Deliyiannis: I ordered goggles online. They didn't not come as shown in the picture. Neither do they seem "new".

Navarre Pool Leak Detection: Ordered a wetsuit online through their website and received in less than a week. Great customer service, and fantastic pricing. Thank you so much!!!!

Gabriel Peralta: Great shop to get all your scuba diving needs, Chris was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Only dive shop in Staten island.

Ross: So nice and a lot of good products

Joan Sharrott: Excellent service.

Megan Sullivan: I came here with a friend and they treated us so well. They were very helpful and sweet!

Martinus van Wely: Great service with my online purchase. Thanks again!

Aleksandr Palatkevich: Very knowledgeable store owner. If diving is a science, I felt that I visited a secret science lab where people know everything. Highly recommended. Will comeback.

Timur Fanshteyn: Both of my kids got certified here. Excellent service. Felix and Joe are extremely friendly and professional. Would definetely recommend the shop

michele palermo: Got my liscense through Treshers they are very friendly and help you become a better diver.

Ignatius Sherengovy: Amazing selection of gears for scuba diving, snorkeling and swimming. Outstanding service!

Alex Zharov: Amazing staff. Very professional and prompt.

D Y: Great place... very knowledgeable

Stephanie Langeland: through this shop - the instructors are knowledgeable and experienced. I highly recommend this shop to everyone. The staff are personable and flexible - especially for working people who need to need to stop in during the evening. It's easily accessible from Brooklyn as well since it is right over the Verrazano. In addition to completing my certifications through Treshers, I purchased all of my equipment here. They gave me better prices than all of their competitors

John Ares: Treshers is Staten Island's dive store. A PADI Dive Center, they have friendly staff in the form of manager Joe, and Felix on the weekend and great selection of Aqua Lung and ScubaPro equipment. These are the best and most popular brands among sport divers. They have other technical brands as well, but I am only a sport diver. And they service what they sell. This is an extremely important consideration for divers. Does your neighborhood mechanic service your Aston-Martin? How far will you have to drive to get your Poseidon/Volvo serviced? This is the place to get certified on Staten Island. PADI Open Water is the first certification. If you ever wanted to just try SCUBA, ask for Discover SCUBA, they have regular way to try the sport in the pool.In respect to dive travel, Advanced divers can find trips to worldwide destinations like the Galapagos and Philippines. The store is not perfect which is why I only rated it 4 stars out of 5. They were hit hard in Hurricane Sandy. Fortunately, they survived, cleaned up and look great. You would never guess the amount of water in their South Beach Location. However, as a result, they lost their compressor, but still can fill your tanks with certified, quality air. Ask manager Joe how they do it.

Chris Guadalupe: The Staff at Treshers are very professional and helpful with last minute rentals. The Shop is always getting new inventory in.

Serg Tereschenko: Очень приятный магазинчик. Хозяин говорит по-русски и по-украински.Хороший выбор, грамотная консультация и отличное отношение к покупателю!
