The Compleat Strategist: what do users think?

Stefano: Love it

David Herlocker: Ok...wow. it's a game store...where you can actually BUY games...not a game store where you play games and they sell a few games on the side, but they have an inventory of about 10 "game" stores...and it's stacked to the ceiling. See pictures for details.Staff is extremely knowledgeable. I listened to several conversations on recommendations for different styles of games. They know their stuff.I highly recommend you move this store from out of the shadow of the Empire State Building down to the Brandon area in FL...just a suggestion.Oh, and if you are in the area, that big building to the west is cool, but not as cool as this little treasure trove of games.

Pammy Land: Jigsaw puzzles selection is awesome in this cave of a store. They have the brand I love Ravenburger.

Whiskey Fife: Tons of options, a great place to visit if you’re looking for something you haven’t played before. The selection of magic the gathering products are limited.

Kevin Kelly: Picked up some new paint for my Necrons, best prices on the Citadel paints anywhere. Always lots of new Warhammer models to choose from

Victor Rivera: Impressive selection of board games and table top wargaming. Lots of stuff for DnD and Warhammer fans. I went there primarily to see painting supplies, they don't have much selections but do have a little bit of everything. You can definitely get everything you need in there. Super friendly staff!

Justin F: One of the best gaming stores out there! Good selection, friendly staff. Cluttered as all hell, though.

Lupe Rodriguez: This was my first time going here and immediately felt the love of this place. The person who took care of me was super genuine and nice and very welcoming. They have an insane amount of games. You'd probably have to spend all day in there to see everything. I will definitely be coming back.

Capitaine Flam: Très large choix de jeux de société et rôle dans un espace restreint , vous ne savez plus où mettre de la tête .

William Roberths: Chock full of boardgames. An experience just to look around.

Christopher Webb: I’ve been going here since 1981. Still the best gameshop ever.

Alexander Smith: Decent prices compared to online vendors, and the merchandise variety is quite high for the store size.

Twenty Sided Store: what do users think?

JAMES BROWN: it’s a tabletop game shop. It’s exactly what you expect. Heavy on the magic. Great staff. Luis hosted the commander event I was at. Great host. Will come back with friends.

Barry Silverman: A great place for board games. Good selection of games and friendly, helpful staff.

Anna: Really cool space to play board games with friends! Staff is very nice and everything was organized. $10/person for the day to play board games. And they have snacks for purchase.

Michael T. Astolfi: Now the best gaming event space in NYC!

Matthew Wien: Had a fantastic experience with the team there. They guided me to two new games that I previously had no knowledge of. I live out of town and I will be purchasing my games here instead of Amazon.

Renée Frenette: Great selection of board games, card games, role playing games and gaming accessories- all very well displayed. Staff came over to ask if we were looking for anything particular they could direct us to. Very friendly and approachable. Would go back if I am in the area again.

Ivett Navarro: Always a joy to be un the store

A Stump: SoSoSoMuchFun!!!!!

rhys stevenson: Amazing store! All the workers are kind and passionate about the hobby.

Brooklyn Video Games: what do users think?

Lucas W Kim: Best store i’ve ever been to, traded 2 of my games i never play for a beautiful copy of AirRide, they even let you test the games. Go here!

Wilfredo Alvarez: Small location in a nice neighborhood with a decent collection of retro games and systems. Service was attentive and professional. Will visit again.

Matthew Denton: Not bad

Jrocker23 - Joe: Nice service. Good collection of retro games

Leo: Cool place. Got Majoras Mask for the N64 and a Player Pak attatchment. Worked Perfectly. Great condition. I really liked the front desk display with the N64 games.

Jonathan Benitez: A latino owned retro game store. I come here once in a blue moon but I'll never forget the time I bought a original game boy. Price was a bit high but I traded in some games and I ended up getting a decent deal. The staff there are very nice unlike some other retro game stores in nyc, but the store is small yet I find it adorable and they have a good selection of games. They're also active and responsive on social media and I've traded in some games and actually got a decent deal.Very far from me but when I do decide to go its always worth it.Muchas gracias esteban.

anthony castillo: Honestly, one of the best places I've went to to fix and buy a game from. The owners are friendly and know what they're talking about and are willing to test games in front of you, given that there's no rush. Everytime I've went they've always had something I needed. Definitely go back for more.

Rey Mago: Best place ever for buy video games

Rolando Tapia: Check them out on Instagram. For their daily trades. Dayana and Adrian were very helpful with my purchase. They also ship out and have a eBay store.

Pamela Orundu: Honestly I credit Esteban and Brooklynvideogames with maintaining my mental health during all of 2020. I followed them quite by accident on instagram and his daily posts of retro pick ups inspired me to reach out and purchase a Super Famicom! That started me down a delightful path of retro collecting and gaming. I even started refurbishing old consoles, so I picked up a minor electronics skill set along the way.My life has been enriched by this tiny little store. I finally got to visit it in January and meeting Esteban in person was wonderful, he is kind, patient, and great conversation.I don't normally believe in loyalty to a store or a brand but Brooklynvideogames has a customer for life.

Erik Reitinger: I randomly discovered BVG during 2020. This store reintroduced me to all of the gaming systems that I loved when I was a kid and helped me build a fun collection that I play constantly. Stop in here and their reviews their other location on 4th avenue!

Ilfadi Partoredjo: Great small mom and pop store! Conveniently located by the N train. Fair prices for games in great condition. Definitely follow their social media account for any new products.

Andy Chen: Best gamestore in Brooklyn..they have most classic games.. reasonable price..the owner was nice and friendly..

Robert Lopez: Be sure to follow BKVGS on Instagram as well at the same name. A Great store I discovered 7 years ago and always have a great time I'm in there. The owner and the workers are all very chill. And it's a great atmosphere to be in. Check them out if you're in Brooklyn.

Astro Game: what do users think?

Kelvin Miller: Prices Are set . Place is not to friendly . Most Consoles are broken and are not for sale . Everything You can not Touch . Not a Family place to go to .

A “SkrrGang” Hernandez: . Wii console was a decent price, but I still didn't ask what it came with or the condition. N64 games like No Mercy were literally retail prices used and not in a good quality. Mercari has way better quality and cheaper prices. we just have to wait for the shipping. I gave it 3 🌟 stars because I did not buy a product to test it, and because they had a great amount of good retro games. Prices vs. Time is what you have to ask yourself: Do I buy it because you want it right away or save money and wait for the shipping? I recommend this place if you don't care about prices they do have a lot of good games.👍

Senpei Chris: The Customer Service, non-existent. I’ve visited the store multiple times & as a collector, we analyze games before purchase. They have this thing where they won’t show you a game nor product without you purchasing. Hello… like what if the game is all scratched up. “Sorry, it’s policy” Today, they denied me a game I desire because quote on quote “we can’t reach it!” Bro, their whole store is filled with games on the wall. What?! I’m guessing they need to hire Shaquille Oniel or an individual whose ego isn’t as high as the 7 foot walls. 👎🏾

Bladimir Nunez: I liked how big and clean the store was. The person that helped me out was knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are reasonable maybe $1 or $2 more than big corporate stores like GameStop but please support our local stores before it’s too late and they are gone.

Ned Barantheon: . When the owner isn’t in a cranky mood, the other employee usually is.Nothing says customer service like an abrasive/rude remark, to a question about a product. Also for some reason, he keeps staring at me like if I'm going to steal something. Stopped going mostly because i just felt uncomfortable with the constant staring. There are other mom and pop store with better customer engagement and a better organized store.

Maximo Arias: This place is the best card and video game store in NY I’m not even lying right now they are the best sellers and give good prices

Shakir S.: Literally the ONLY place in North America with Joy Cons in stock. Truly a pleasant surprise when I went it. EXSTENSIVE collection of current and vintage games. They charge $6 for Ultra Pro Penny Sleeves which is a price hike but other than that great place. Will be back for Pre Orders etc !!

Angel Brennan: Good service

Raul Ricardo: They r the best in games

Christian Rios: Great customer service and great offerings.

Derek Vargas: Great selection, small business with dependable products and services

Alejandro Sosa: The guys Favorite line …. “Idk I never played that game”

Ra Santos: Great service and it's local so that's a major plus on top that they get early releases. A +

Terrell Roberson: They gave everything related to gaming.Customer service needs major adjustments!
