Studio Ray Recording: what do users think?

Master Ashcraft: I’M his son, COME HERE. I can tell when I’m upstairs He is Amazing. I know to because when I sang one of my songs, I LOVE THE MIXING AND RECORDINGS and I’m not saying this cause I’m son, but honestly my father is truly the best for this.

Anthony Lewis: It's your boy yung eyezz that spot is fire good vines perfect energy and he knows exactly what hes doing

Sam Price: I recently began working with Ray in the new year of 2019. I have found that you get way more than you pay for. Here is why. He acts as a vocal coach not just as a recording engineer who pushes a button. He pushes me to do my best work and makes my lyrics sound more engaging by pushing me to my creative limits. He also wastes no time editing and arranging my hooks and verses. I am able to get to the next part of the song instantaneously. From the jump his up beat and positive attitude were two things I noticed. We got along right off the bat!!! Not only is he great but the studio space is comfortable and the booth is huge. He also has amazing equipment and is super fair about pricing. You leave with a mix and mastered track all included as well!! I have been very impressed working with Ray. If you want an honest down to earth person who is a genius when it comes to recoding and mixing Ray is your guy hands down. And I got nothing for writing this review its the truth!!!!!! I just want others to know how great an experience it is working with Ray.

Graham Winters: Best studio I have been to, Ray is not only an amazing engineer that provides a relaxing while very professional environment, he helped me find my voice and is the reason for me sounding the way I do to this day and is the reason for my confidence in relation to performing vocally. I recommend any artist from any genre to go to Ray's and trust that you will leave with only the best because he wont let you leave otherwise!!! Thanks Ray!

Andrew liquori: Amazing! Ray is such a talented, patient individual who welcomed me with open arms. He gave me advice on how to make a high quality song and helped record and edit! He even offers coffee or water!

William Li: As a new artist, I've been lucky to work with Ray who has been incredibly helpful in teaching/coaching me in every aspect of recording. If you sound average, he will make you sound good. If you sound good, he will make you sound great. I highly recommend working with Ray!

Violet Texeira: This visit was so informative Ray is definitely the real deal can't wait to make real music at Ray Studio.

Rose Valentine: . He is flexible and will work with you as long as you are up to it. He is a perfectionist. He even offers tea, coffee, and or water. His environment is extraordinary. I loved the experience.

A. Olatuja: The equipment is excellent and the staff are really helpful and kind human beings.

Bill Roberts: Many famous artists have recorded albums here. Wonderful rooms, staff, best vintage equipment. You won't leave here disappointed and I am an engineer of the recording arts for 44 years. I knew Walter too.

enal nevarc: Great studio and control room. I worked there for a couple of years in the 90’s the mics and tube gear are to die for.

A. Rupinskee: This is a beautiful place to record music, it feels lived in and i prefer that to more sterile environments that I've seen in studios. Shout out to Owen for being extremely friendly, helpful, super competent and an all around awesome guy.

Mike Santasiero: Great facility, wide selection of mics & outboard gear, knowledgeable staff, and great sounding rooms.

Grand Street Recording, Inc.: what do users think?

n y: Watsky ARG?

Lilia B: Fantastic Studio. Professionalism with an artistic view and accessibility to a verify of many instruments. Highly recommend for great recordings.

Arthur Vint: I uploaded the stems via google drive and sent them off to him and he had a mix back to me within a day. Any tweaks I requested he turned around and fixed immediately. Track sounds awesome and it was affordable and easy experience!

Christian Nourijanian: One of the best studios in the NYC Area! Ken is great to work with because he has experience as a highly skilled engineer with a background in performing. The Hammond B3 is one of the best I've ever recorded on. I highly recommend GSR for any jazz or pop recording!

Mazz Swift: One of my favorite places to record. Ken is a great guy, has fantastic ears, patience, and a very cool space. .

C. Gibbs: .They have everything you need as far as great amps, mics, and some more eclectic instruments as well which most people don't have in their home studios. Still the best part of a studio are the people working in it and that's why I keep going back to Grand Street .

JK Kim: "Avacado spicy sauce - this studio was the best ever. HAd a great session recording a folk/rock record. Jake was a flawless engineer and the room had good spicy vibes. Would highly recommend"

Chase Potter: Grand street studio is awesome! Amazing selection of equipment and amazing engineers.

Allegra Krieger: Can't say enough good things about this studio-Had a block of four days working on an album of original folk/rock music where we recorded in live takes with acoustic instruments. Jake, our engineer, was a master at keeping things running smoothly with the help of his equally great studio assistant -gintus. The studio has great feeling with amazing gear. So happy with the sounds we made and couldn't have asked for a better session!! Thanks all

Robert Taylor: . Wonderful feeling in the studio. Impeccably staffed. Jake is the man. Thank you for a sweet experience. I'll be back for sure!

Danae Greenfield: Grand Street Recording is an incredible studio. I recorded there on my friend Allegra's album in late July and everything went extremely smoothly. The equipment they have there is top notch and Jake and Gintus were amazing all 3 days we were there. I would recommend this studio to anyone looking to record a record. Cheers!

Ryan Bria: Grand Street recording is one of the most efficient studios i've ever worked in. While tracking bass for a full length album there earlier this year, my drummer and I tore through 6 tracks in the course of an afternoon. This was due to the premium engineering work of Ken Rich and his team. On top of that Ken and his employees are some of the most easy going people. Which creates a low pressure, positive environment that breeds creativity.

Brother Jerome: Grand Street Recording is one of the most creative and efficient studios in NYC. Between the incredible ears of Ken Rich and the lightening fast engineering skills of him and his staff, this studio is the real deal! In addition to their top notch engineering and producing skills, the guys at Grand Street always know how to capture the sounds you're looking for, and have a melange of equipment to do so. Whether you're looking to undertake a full length album, or just knock out some tracks: Grand Street Recording is the place you want to go.

Blue Hawk Records (President): Awesome place, staff is friend and helpful and recording was painless and easy! Recommend to anyone!

Jared Saltiel: . There's also a ton of vintage keyboards, synths, guitars, amps, pedals, a beautiful Steinway, a Hammond organ, a vibraphone

Long Island Sound - Recording Studio LIC: what do users think?

bailey poteat: Long Island Sound Studios is one of Queen's best kept secrets. Michael Wuerth has a wealth of knowledge from working at high profile recording studios and also as a session/performing musician. Before working with Michael, I had spent months looking for the right studio to complete my album. I needed to find someone who could work with me one-on-one and understood the vision I had for my music without pushing to make it something else. Once Michael and I finished our first song together, I was so thrilled with how well it turned out, I immediately brought in the rest of the songs I had planned for my album because I knew I was in good hands and every single one of them turned out amazing. He was so easy to work with, understood all of my ideas, and he's a wiz on guitar, piano, as well as Pro Tools. He knows how to coach you through recording your instrument, wheather it's singing or playing guitar or piano so you can get the best takes. Finding Mike and Long Island Sound Studios was like finding the last piece of the puzzle. He is absolutely the real deal when it comes to making music in the studio. He is worth every penny and will only help you take your music to the next level. I very much look forward to recording more music here.

Amy Connerley: Michael is absolutely wonderful! His talent in music production is just unreal. He always has a collaborative and supportive vibe and I can’t wait to work with him again.

Lee Bradshaw: , and most importantly - ultimately delivers world class outcomes with incredibly efficient turn around times.LIS is also helpfully competitive in meeting-the-market of independent musicians, as well as providing a product outcome that far outstrips the rates on offer. The range of music Mike works on is really broad, and he clearly has a genuine love of music and seeing Artists get the best they can out of their projects. As a producer working on the other side of the world - Mike has made working long distance a total breeze; and my clients have been thrilled with the sounds that have come back, as well as appreciative of Mike's patience in handling notes/amendments etc.I'm happy to say a great long term working relationship has gone from strength to strength with Mike.

Alexis Ortiz: I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Michael. I had come to him with a song I had written, and he made it come alive! The song is even better than I ever thought it could be. He did a wonderful job of listening to my ideas as well as suggesting some of his as well to make an all around excellent collaboration process. I will definitely be working with him again in the future.

PRIMME: and each experience has been incredible! His sensibility as a songwriter & producer pairs perfectly with his audio tech chops, ensuring that whether you’re a singer, songwriter, producer, or combination of the above, you will ALWAYS get the best quality product when working with Michael. He is kind, timely, and enthusiastic about his work, really taking the time to listen to feedback and crafting music that artists can be proud of. I cannot recommend his services enough!

Rocky Paterra: Michael and I have been having weekly sessions since January for my album, and I can’t say enough positive things about him as a music professional and presence in the room. His experienced musical ear and high proficiency with music production software make for a combination that always leaves me feeling confident as I enter into our sessions, knowing that he will bring both understanding and efficiency to the table. On a personal note, he is a friendly and calming presence in the room and will always make you feel like he is on your side. He respects your time and your vision. Michael plays a variety of instruments, so as a musician he is able to bring brilliant ideas and sounds to the table.I would absolutely recommend Michael to anybody wanting to get their music out into the world!

Adam Sarette: Mike Wuerth is an incredible Producer! He’s in the singer/songwriter court every step of the way from tracking instrumentation, electronic sounds, and vocals, making sure to achieve the full potential of the writer and song! Did I mention his guitar skills!?

Katy Corbus: combined with musical ability and intuitive awareness of his clients’ personal style and sound are a well-orchestrated trifecta. The space is comfy and calming, equipment exceptional, and the finished product is professional, polished, and authentic. I am a singer/songwriter still relatively new to the production process, and Michael provided all the essentials to help me feel empowered throughout. His collaboration and the whole experience also truly helped me grow as an artist. I can’t wait to get in the studio again. Thanks, Michael!!

Danielle Lussier: Working with Mike at the Long Island Sound Recording Studio was an incredible experience. He works super fast, yet is very patient, and wants every minute detail to be perfect. He is a genius musician, and is always open to collaborate and share ideas. I highly suggest you work with him if you’re looking for someone who will take your music to the next level!

Rianna Hill: Some words to describe Michael Wuerth: Fast, efficient, thorough, knowledgeable, professional, patient, and thoughtful. If you are looking for an engineer that will hone in on your style and sound and take that single you've been busting out at the open mics to the next level, this is the man you need to see. Everyone in my circle that has heard my new single, all mixed and mastered by Michael, has been blown away. If I wasn't moving to the west coast, this would be my go-to studio for my whole upcoming project. Thank you for everything, Mike! Could not recommend LISS more. Blessings.

Hunter Hoffman: I have been recording my weekly podcast, The Cold Read, at Long Island Sound Studios for over a month now and could not be more happy with the professionalism and the amount of fun we have working with Mike in the studio! We sound better than we ever have and we could not recommend this studio more! Worth every penny!

Michael Tinghitella: Mike does excellent work and is an absolute pleasure to work with!

TROY GRIFFIN: Michael is master at his craft. It's such a pleasure working with him when it comes to producing, songwriting, recording, mixing and mastering. I recommend Michael to anyone who is a songwriter and wants a great, finished, professional product. He is definitely the person you want working on your project.

Tanner Royal: Working and recording at Long Island Sound has been a creative, fun, and easy experience. Mike knows how to work with any artist, and with his years of experience he knows how to bring out the absolute best from the performer. I would suggest to anyone looking to record any of their tunes for a VERY AFFORDABLE price to head over to Long Island Sound. They will not be disappointed.

Patrick Spencer: demos and left with a finished product that I’m so extremely proud of. Mike has a great ear for arrangements and he’s got some Protools short cuts that are nothing short of wizardry. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Great experience, great results, and an all around great guy to work with.

Dru Serkes: Mike is a true professional in every sense. From our initial consultation to wrapping and mastering the songs I recorded with him, he was conscious of my tastes, cognizant of the sound I was trying to achieve, and contributed creatively and technically to the final product in valuable fashion. He is an incredibly efficient engineer, and highly knowledgable about all levels of the music scene. I would record here again without question.

Amo Elizabeth Aline (Ammo): Been working with Mike for several months now and couldn't be more pleased. I make country-rock music and have had a really hard time finding a producer who could both foster creativity with the musicians I brought on to my project, but was also a stellar musician themselves. Mike is both of these things, and then some. He took my simple acoustic project and turned it into something that I will be proud of share with record labels this coming year. 5/5 stars. Hope I get many more opportunities to work with Mike in the future.

Scott Martin: I’ve been working with Mike for years, on several projects. He’s an absolute wizard when it comes to not only recording, but also producing - his knowledge and ear for detail is simply top notch. Everything I’ve worked on with him always comes out posessing that little extra something that makes a big difference when you’re bringing the songs in your head to life.

Jose Deverze: and you can get to work with a top notch producer. I will not stop saying this because the vibes are the most important part of each sessions. I am definitely coming back again.

Metro Podcast Studio: what do users think?

Michelle Tandler: Very disappointing experience. The room is tiny and the tech was extremely distracting. His phone was buzzing, he constantly fidgeted and was clicking nonstop. Will not be back. Will add that when I had to cancel months back it took months to get a refund. Just pretty unprofessional overall.

Lorena Galliot: Used this space for a Latino Podcasting meetup - really great space, beautiful amenities and perfect, central location.

Martin Haro: Excellent podcast studio! Awesome and professional people always willing to help with your project.

Candice Harper: I love this place. I've used other studios but Metro is my favorite. They are extremely kind and professional. I've worked with two different sound engineers and both really took the time to make sure everything was optimal and that I got an amazing recording. It's my new recording home.

Uncia Productions: One of the best podcast recording studios in the city! Great recording setup, great staff, great costumer service, and very professional. I recommend this place to anyone who needs a place to record a podcast.

Deposit That: Showing up and recording a conversation is easy. Pre and post production is not and Ginni and her team have been tremendous to work with. She is responsive professional and engaging. If you’re thinking of starting a podcast, just do it. Record a few episodes. Then a name will come to you. She will handle the rest from A-Z. All you have to do is show up.

Beloved and Peachy: Super excited to begin our journey with Metro Studio! Ginni was amazing very patient and extremely helpful on tips and ideas. The idea behind the studio was amazing the technology as well as as amazing! The view when guest arrive was beautiful and extremely exciting!
