Yoga Spa NYC Midtown - Yoga Classes and Spa Treatments: what do users think?

Gin Lin: This is not a review for their yoga classes but for their rudeness to customers. They shut the door 5 minutes after class started. I was 6 minutes late so I called and knocked on the door. She opened the door and after seeing my face she said to me: “ Do you not read English?”

Evelyn Sprigg: Yoga spa is a beautiful space and Greg is one of the best yoga teachers I have ever had.

Alaa: Lovely little studio with great ambience. Lauren was a great instructor and was very kind and accommodating

Robert Bastien: Bri is amazing, beyond her years as a guide for your practice.

Cristi Connor: This place was so lovely! The setting was warm and peaceful. The yoga class and spa treatment were amazing! I left feeling so great!

Meredith Renuart: Great service, teachers, therapists. Just what I needed to forget nyc streets for a day!

Tanya Gillogley: extremely nasty and unprofessional studio owner

Akshit Malhotra: This is not a review on the studio but for the woman who answers the calls for this studio - she was very rude and unprofessional in her behavior, does not have the right frame of mind to understand her customer issues properly and lacks ability to speak decently to her customers. She should be reprimanded properly and coached before talking further with any other customers.

mperskin: The teacher was awesome and the room was very nice, quiet and the class wasn't overcrowded

Suzanne Williamson: Amazing ! Yoga, scrub, massage and bubbly . Zen spot, fabulous owner and team that made my experience perfect! Great way to celebrate my birthday. Thank you so much. I’ll definitely be back!

Wendy Erikson: and was very rude about it.

tom bohan: Fabulous Yogi's. Welcoming hosts. Beautiful space. Can not go wrong.

Carline Senior: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality

Sophie Kader: Great class, clean studio and friendly staff. Would recommend.

Rebecca Colon: Loved the space. I got to the studio about 1.5 hrs early and I was offered a great resting space until class started. Kristin the instructor is a good friend and im so happy and I can't wait to see the Buti yoga community build.

Ariane Preusch: Positive:Professionalismreally enjoyed my yin yoga class and can’t wait to come back next week

The Yoga Trail: what do users think?

Robert Eisele: My Yoga Trail in Central Park Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 12pm was perfect and I highly recommend it to everyone! Unfortunately, I could not take the second appointment because of the wet meadow / rain but as soon as I'm back in NYC I'm sure again with.

Jessica G: I’ve been taking classes with The Yoga Trail since 2021. All of the instructors are great, but I’m particularly fond of Christian, Shane, and Mark. They are welcoming of all skill levels, considerate of any injuries and physical limitations, and have a good rapport with the people in their classes. If a position isn’t quite working for one person, they are quick to suggest alternatives to try.It is truly one my favorite things: morning yoga in the middle of Central Park, while the dogs are running around and the city is just starting to stir. Highly recommend!

Chelsey Swats-Craft: We did yoga in Central Park for a bachelorette party and Lorine was awesome! We got lost and we were late but she was so understanding. It definitely rejuvenated us! And the view of Central Park and the city was so cool! Thank you again!

Diana garcia: I purchased a yoga class Sunday morning and the instructor never showed. I emailed them and received a response stating that i will be receiving a credit refund. I replied to them explaining that I'm a tourist and can not receive a credit refund due to me not living in NY and I haven't received a reply yet. Which is very unprofessional if you ask me.

Lara Leonard: Such a great class! Doing yoga in nature is amazing & the class was so restorative to my senses that I slept like a baby that night!

Bar Baby: Showed up for class early and no one was there. I called the number several times but no one answered. I never got an email or call, never received credit/refund nor an explanation. In theory this place sounds great but do yourself a favor and stay away/find a place more reputable and therefore more accountable.

Brian Lopez: I started yoga not knowing what I was getting into and with lower back pain. Thanks to the teachers in The Yoga Trail I was able to over come obstacles such as becoming more flexible, being able to meditate more with their breathing techniques, and relieve pain or stress with each posture. Thank you all! Look forward to many sessions more! ❤️

Michael Stever: 👍 👍 👍 Having taken numerous classes with the YogaTrail team, rest assured they excel in their efficiency, and upmost professionalism. I've taken from at least four of the teachers on their roster, and every one of them is a genuine Pro. Each brings something unique to the table, and each has their own personal style which is great. These folks are top drawer, and the rates are more than fair. Thanks Yoga Trail Team. See ya on the lawn! 🙏

Angela: Lovely uplifting and energising class! I'll do it again!

Giovanni Neri: Wonderful way to practice yoga and relax in Nature even in the heart on NYC. Great teachers and kind costumer service.

Vanessa Bueno: guys please don’t get scammed

Madelin Peralta: Do you like people belittle you? Argue with you instead of help you with the situation? Than book a yoga class with The Yoga Trail. I reached out and Silvia a representative with a bad customer service. All I wanted was to reschedule a class. I myself work for customer service and would never treat a paying customer like that!

NY Loves Yoga: what do users think?

Michelle: This is my yoga home in NYC. It is peaceful, safe, and all body types are welcomed. The quality of instruction is superb. I highly recommend private lessons as a place to start. After two major accidents this practice as complimented and accelerated my PT and healing. 🙏

Julia Volpi: The sweetest & most welcoming studio, and a really intentional practice. My favorite spot in the city ♥️

Amy Spurgeon: Best yoga studio in NY. The team were so welcoming and friendly, the class was traditional yoga with great options for different levels. The teacher created such a open place to try all the moves. Will definately be back.

Jordan Clynch: I really love this studio, especially Meenah's Urban Zen class! I discovered it a year ago and attend as often as I can.

Michelle Lesperance: I used to really love this yoga studio until I accidentally left my yoga mat there. Unfortunately, I was dealing with an emergency and I wasn’t able to pick it up right away. I received a voicemail saying the mat would be put outside for giveaway if I didn’t pick it up within a week. Given my circumstance it would’ve been nice to have been offered more understanding. I’m sure there was room to tuck it away somewhere in the meantime rather than inconvenience me by giving my property away. This was surprising and off putting so I will not be returning.

Amber Elie-Pierre: Really beautiful studio and kind instructors

Rose: Much aloha from Hawai'i! NY loves yoga is a home away from home, a very personal and sweet space. My compliments to all the yoga instructors here, they are very knowledgeable and passionate about teaching yoga. I especially recommend Von's restorative yoga and sound healing on Saturday's, and MJ's somatics class! Thank you yogis, until we meet again🙏💖

Kimberly Thomsen: I almost hate to write a review here - because I love this place so much and don't want it to become too popular! I have practiced for several years, and checked out many other studios in the City. I also travel so will drop in on classes in other areas when I'm away. NYLY is just very special. The instructors are mindful and attentive. Classes are taught in a welcoming studio. Regardless of your area of practice you're bound to have a good experience. One caveat - the classes are, for the most part, "challenging". If you are a beginner, you might consider taking a private class to get the most out of your experience before jumping into the group setting. Wonderful place. Wonderful instructors!

ElleV: Today my experience was mind blowing at NY Loves Yoga. I had the pleasure in participating in Yoga instructor Vanush Hambardzumyan's special class, 'Vibes of Love'. The class was accompanied by musician Adam Maalouf. Hearing Adam's unique instruments was the icing on the cake as we moved through our poses. The studio is beautiful with an open garden to view. Thank you Vanush, Adam and NY Loves Yoga.💕

David Foster: I've been doing yoga for 11 years between NY and LA and this is by far one of my favorite studios I've been to. The space would be lovely even without its outdoor front and back porches, and the teachers appear super knowledgeable with an apparently very refined teaching style.

Evan Cyrkin: Beautiful and calming studio with an excellent, professional staff! By far, the best yoga studio that my wife and I have yet visited in New York.

Upper West Side Yoga and Wellness: what do users think?

Cheryl Phillips: Absolutely loving this studio so far! Amazing space, staff, instructors and price!!! Namaste

Emilia Curcic: I stumbled upon UWS Yoga after moving to the city last year and I could not be happier. The classes are amazing and each instructor is so intentional with their practice that you will never take two classes that are exactly the same. The dedication and passion of the UWS Yoga team is what keeps me coming back over and over again. Stephan and Ingrid's studio is truly one of the places that's made this neighbourhood feel like home to me!

Jacquelyn Gray: Absolutely love this place! I am brand new to yoga and will definitely continue the practice because of ritual hot yoga. I signed up for the 10 day unlimited pass and I'm so happy I did. The instructors are so encouraging and I love that you move to the beat! Music is always great as well! I'm sad my 10 day unlimited pass is coming to an end but I know I will be back for sure!!

Louise Regan: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI’ve been attending regularly for 10 years. I have no affiliation to any particular teacher or class, because they are all wonderful! I always get exactly what I need and leave feeling centered and taller. This is not a competitive sports arena its about physical and mental well being. 🙏💗

Juliana Ferrone: Positive:Quality

Pepper: Best yoga studio in the city. Stephan and Ingrid are gifts to yogis.

Linas Zajankauskas: . Great community feel and comprehensive schedule!

Pedro Corral: very relaxing

Laura Lorenz Panaro: The best UWS yoga studio - neighborhood environment with incredible instructors and owners!

Frank Stellato: Amazing yoga, wonderful atmosphere. Never a bad class.

Darragh Sheehan: Really love this studio. Great teachers. Reasonable price.

Ly AV: I am so happy I found Upper West Side Yoga and Wellness. The sangha here is more than a community, it is a place to practice healing amongst other practioners in a relaxed and safe environment! The Yogis here are great! They are knowledgeable and care about your well being!

Susan Malone: A warm, welcoming, enriching experience every time. Wish I could go every day!

Brooklyn Flow (by Bend + Bloom): what do users think?

Mara Sirbu: Beautiful studio..the sky lights really brighten the space.. innovative classes

Nicholas Bernstein: Peaceful and airy environment. Consistently good instructors. Professionally run.

Lisa Smith: Teachers are great, vibes are positive and it feels amazing to be back in person.

Rachel N: Took a terrific yoga class today with Eric. The new space is so light filled and airy. I loved it. I'm really looking forward to returning.

Stephanie C: New space is so nice! I really enjoyed class and looking forward to going back.

Elie: Positive:Professionalism,Quality

Nisha Garigarn: Lovely yoga studio with good vibes! There is a nice waiting area in the front and it is easy to book a spot online. I have taken two classes so far and especially loved the Advanced Flow class. The rooms are well equipped with blankets, blocks, straps, etc. Hope to be back soon!

Vicky Rodriguez: I love Bend and Bloom for its convenient location, reasonable pricing and very very diverse teaching staff. Every teacher I’ve practiced with here has something different to offer and I am so grateful for that! Julie incorporates a clear theme in her class and I am mesmerized by her knowledge of yoga and the philosophy behind it. I find her class to be balanced and always gives modification/access/challenge to those seeking them. Danielle’s flow is super energizing and I always leave my mat feeling refreshed. Jason and Margaret make it fun that you ‘almost’ forget how hard they are making you work! Aditi and Kate are clear in instruction and I often learn something new in their align classes. In Christina’s class I am hyper aware of my body, and how to isolate certain parts to make the poses work for me. The studio truly has something for everyone no matter where they are on their yoga journey. Thank you for existing!

Marta Thurston: Wonderful, warm and inviting space. I've only discovered via a recommendation for prenatal yoga but will continue going post partum even though it's a bit out of the way for me. The class packs are very reasonably priced and class schedule offers a really nice range of times and level accomodations. The studio encourages forming a closely knit support network for pregnant women and Michelle who teaches Monday night prenatal is a wealth of information for prenatal self care. The studio staff is incredibly caring and accommodating going as far as surrendering their own umbrella to me last time I came to class during a downpour and someone from a previous class accidentally took mine. I look forward to Monday nights at the studio and feel truly bummed out when I have to miss a class. What a gem!

Estelle: My grandson loves Bend and Bloom.

Daisuke Oh: Saysha Heinzman is an excellent instructor who focuses on important movement fundamentals like breathing, core activation, proper pelvic positioning, and balance. Important to learn regardless of your strength or level of flexibility.

Michael Romanos: I've always had a good experience at Bend and Bloom. I'm a relative notice but have always felt comfortable and welcomed here. The studios themselves are extremely calm and minimalist. You truly feel like you're escaping the city. There are two studios one big and one small. They offer packages but you really don't save that much unless you spring for an unlimited plan and go very often. They do offer a pay-what-you-can class with a budding instructor about once a week which is great.

Lionel Johnnes: and didn’t even wish me happy birthday :-

Santhosh Umapathi: Great place to learn Yoga !! Manager was very polite and friendly.

Kieran O'Brien: Just took a yoga class with Cari: what an absolute WONDER WOMAN ❤️❤️❤️ I learned more in her hour long class today than I have learned doing yoga in the past year. I literally cried tears of joy at the end of the class.

Earth Yoga NYC: what do users think?

katy sullivan: The owner of this place is NOT zen. She is rude and dismissive. Classes are totally sub par for her arrogance and be prepared to listen to a stampede of children while trying to get chilled out. Terrible studio no idea how it gets all these great reviews.

Rachel Shelowitz: happened to be my first instructor. I have been practicing there ever since, 7 years and counting. Here is what I love so much about this studio: in every single class I have ever taken

Justin Naim: Sex

Isabela Villanueva: My favorite studio for hot yoga in NYC. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the instructors are amazing, the studio is always clean and tidy.

Holly Burgess Ruh: Lovely studio, clean, and many great instructors

Deirdre Clute: My favorite studio in NYC! Great group of teachers and an adorable studio. It's a perfect place for all levels - helped me start out and learn, but continues to challenge me every time! The owner, Yanti, is the absolute sweetest person who puts me in a better mood every time I see her! She is also great about catering to athletes and helping build a practice that supports everything else you do outside of yoga.

Hilary: This place is incredible. I went not expecting much but found a hot yoga class that wasn't too hot or too humid, was a full class with zero judgements, felt free and safe in the space, and the class was challenging and fast paced but I was actually able to accomplish more than I ever have in another class before. I will be going back and getting a membership. The people are friendly, the space is clean, and the classes are great.

Jenny Karo: Hot yoga in the morning is the best way to start or end your week. Instructors are very kind and classes can be adapted to your comfort level.

Yvonne Lee: , and they are always willing to assist with modifications and help if you ask for it. The teachers' styles and personalities do vary, but I found that they are generally very motivational and energetic!Earth is a great neighborhood spot that is always welcoming and friendly. Namaste!

Katie: great instructors, clean studio that doesn't smell before, during or after hot yoga!

Mang'Oh Yoga: what do users think?

Jonatan Capote: This place is fantastic; the Professors and staff are welcoming and warm. My favorite classes are Yin + Meditation with Masako and Candlelight Slow flow restore with Stephie.

Pauline Billy: The best place to do yoga in Austin: the teachers are amazing & the view on nature is peaceful 🧘🏼‍♀️. I love it!!!

Zehra Hussain: I love this studio and all the instructors. My days are so much better with this practice

Allie Moore: absolutely love this place, relaxing energy, great staff, clean facilities and great props. reminds me of how yoga studios used to be before some places overcomplicated. yoga common has preserved the fact that yoga is your own practice and a class is to be enjoyed however you will feel best. all levels should try out this studio- offers virtual classes too, highly recommend.

Claudia Barlow: I love the new ATX studio. The Tu/Thu evening classes are a great way to get rid of the day’s physical and mental tension. I also enjoy the Saturday morning class.

Fredlee Ann Kaplan: The teachers are great especially Maggie. The environment is warmly welcoming and spotless. The staff makes an effort to know you and welcome you as you enter.I have taken yoga before, but I think this is the best experience I have had with teachers and their skills!

Aesook K: I started yoga recently and I enjoy every single classes. All teachers are warm, knowledgeable and all bring their own fun style to classes. Thank you.

Damla Dogan: They just changed their name but all other things stay same. The place is very nice, calm and well maintained. When you get inside, you feel like you find a gem in the middle of the midtown. Instructors are so sweet and open to communicate.

Melissa F: I signed up for the 2 weekend beginner sessions and loved it. This was my first time doing yoga and I felt like the instructor was patient, kind, and supportive. It was a good workout but also relaxing at the beginning Bc and end. Not at all like many of the other snobby seeming yoga studios I considered going to. I’ll definitely be going back more.

Lahib Hayder: I moved to New York recently and was very lucky to find Mangho studio next door.A very nice and cosy studio. Excellent instructors and variety of classes. All are very good. My favorite is Flow with Phillip Pettiford, it’s just perfect for me.This place became my second home in a very short period. Can’t imagine my day without stepping in once or twice.I highly recommend 🙏

Integral Yoga Institute: what do users think?

Sunny: I really liked then, and their knowledge of yoga is outstanding.

maria benjumeda: My yoga center, my first step. Eternally grateful for so many good things learned and transmitted!!! Missing you!!!

Andre Tchen: Now emerging from the Covid frenzy, slowly getting back into gear. Bookstore is a great place for human development books, and next door is a huge art and events place well worth stopping by when you are in the area.

Ruth Brooks: I love this place. I get a really great workout/sweat sesh in and feel more balanced after. Great choice of music and wonderful instructors. However, there isn't a huge difference in the classes as far as the routine. I wish there would be more of a variety of other poses/movements.

TaisiiaNY S (NYTaisiia): Had such a good time!!!

K Dub: I started shopping here when they first opened and folks worked for free to balance their karma. I have always loved Integral Yoga because of their integrity and great bulk and produce selections. The deli is great as well. I used to travel all the way from the Bronx to shop here. The closing of this store was most unfortunate. I almost feel betrayed. I am certain that there are many people who wish they were still open.

Darlene Frank: From the moment I walked in I was made to feel comfortable by the lovely woman in the gift shop. She answered all of my questions and made me feel very welcome come. I went up to the studio and and it was just beautiful and very clean. The instructor was absolutely fabulous. I took a Yin Yoga class and will most definitely be going back again and hopefully to practice other forms of yoga. She was so helpful showing me variations that were for my body. She even helped me after the practice was over. I give Integral Yoga 10.stars, especially my instructor.

Rockaway Bridge: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityTook an incredible class on zoom. It was a great combination of physical, mental and spiritual work. The teacher was extremely knowledgeable and I really enjoyed the class. I have been doing yoga for 20+years and it was one of the best classes I have ever taken. Thank you IYI for such a great class.

Cristian Ávila: Positive:QualityIntegral Yoga NYC gives me an easeful body, a peaceful mind, and a useful life through it's practices, teachings and community (Sangha. I am very grateful for the lifeline IYI has provided during this Covid time in particular. IYI NYC has become my spiritual home. Om Shanti

Lou Miller: GREAT PEACEFUL PLACE FANTASTIC SOUND BATH EVERY SAT AFTERNOON BEEN AWAY DUE TO TEMPORARY PROBLEMS WITH MY FEET CAN HARDLY WAIT TO GET DOWN ON THE MAT AND EXPERIENCE ONCE AGAIN THE HEALING BALM OF THE SOUNDS COMING FROM THE TRADITIONAL INSTRUMENTS. NAMASTE

Darragh Sheehan: Integral yoga is the best yoga ever. Focused on spirituality and connecting to yourself. It’s not like other NYC studios that focus on cardio. This is a very personal and healing style of yoga. Love it

Mercy Frazier: Always a great vibe!Beautifully remodeled with borrow bottles and a brand new Brita filtered water fountain.I love their community class and the karma class for 7$.Plenty of street parking.
