Chandler Allen: The best cocktail bar experience I’ve ever had. If you want to get in, you need to plan accordingly, which is not difficult to do. We arrived around 6:00 pm, put our names down, and then left for our 6:45 dinner reservation. We finished our dinner without feeling rushed and made our way back to the neighborhood, and waited for maybe another 20 minutes when Attaboy called to let us know they had availability. The timing was perfect.The experience inside is personalized and intimate. The bartenders were attentive and professional. My first drink was everything I have ever wanted in a cocktail! These guys are artists, I recommend watching how they make the drinks because they truly are masters of their craft. From start to finish, Attaboy lives up to it’s excellent reputation.
Josh Allen: All these 1 star reviews are from huffy tourists who are mad they have to wait for one of the best bars in the world.Once you’re inside the bartenders are amazing! Truly world class.But yes you will have to plan ahead and yes wait for a bit. Because yes. This is the best bar you will find.Had 3 of the best cocktails in a row I’ve ever had.Thank you all!

Fruity, sweet & sour; smoky and spicy; traditional & old fashioned; ridiculous frufru tiki drinks, they did it all and they were all the best we've ever had

Regina Kim: I think this experience is VERY good for people who know what they want and know their alcohol. I think I’m a bit less well versed so I was not able to fully appreciate it. I described what I was normally like but the couple of drinks we got were kind of misses, not bad but not great. Maybe not for me especially for the wait but probably better for others who knows what they like and wants to customize their drinks.
A G: It was very good. I got in line abt a half hour before they were supposed to open. I was still Abt 20 ppl back. They started letting ppl in abt 15 min past their opening time. It was rather curt & not exactly hospitable manner in which the line was managed. I had to wait one hour even so to be let in just my party of 1. It was worth it in the end. The drinks were good. Just be nicer whoever runs the door.
Neil D'Souza: Tried to get in. The hostess was beyond rude just to tell us there was a long wait. She was so rude we didn’t even bother coming back when they texted us to let us know it was our turn. I completely get it’s a small space and they can’t fit too many people but no reason to be so rude to someone trying to come into your establishment.
Shalvi Shah: The hostess let people in through “attitude” trials. As mentioned in a few other one star reviews, they have trouble letting certain people in. If you’re brown, your money is no good here.The hostess was catering to a diverse clientele. She decided that us two brown women who had been waiting three hours to get into Attaboy would not have a voice: that black woman was very wrong. I wasn’t able to show my friend from CA a good scene of NYC bars—which formerly included Attaboy.Fire the hostess, improve your service. It’s that simple, really.

Ana N: I never leave reviews but the woman Sophia at the door was so racist toward me and my friends and pretended the confirmation of our table being ready was a mistake then took 3 more groups of all white people and said it would be another 45 minutes for us after we already waited 20 minutes and got sent a confirmation text. So rude. I loved being here before but this new door woman was not it. Rude as hell.

Gardot M: So so. The garden is a backyard vibe less than a « secret », feels more like an afterthought with fake grass and AC units everywhere. The plus : the people working here are super friendly, but the cocktails are sadly less than extraordinary despite the mega description. Could use a cocktail specialist on the bar and a menu revisit to make it total magic. The inside has great potential to be incredible but for the moment the vibe is a bit stale and kitsch. Good for tourists perhaps. Not really 5 star experience.

Ben Vance: Lost our credit card dampening the night. Was fine up until that point, but misplacing a credit card is a no no.
Masooda Sultani: Came here for the burger, don’t get what all the hype is about to be honest. I don’t know how they cook them but the patties had a weird texture and flavor, and no sear. Just not for me. But the pickles and fries were really good.
Daniel Arlein: The vibe/service is great, gem salad was good too! The burger is such a let down, very sad. Cheap pasty bun, lean meat with no char like a wet rubbery grey disc. The best part of the burger was the sauce. It’s just so wild how something as simple as the hamburger can come out so bad. Also the fries had that carbon-y taste like the fry fryolater oil needed to be changed. This was my second time here after a similar experience, I wanted to give it a another shot. Sigh

Amanda W: Speak easy bar that is one of the only two speakeasies from the prohibition era in NYC today. .The entrance is the same one used 100 years ago, behind a gate that reads “Lower East Side Toy Company”.Love the atmosphere. Relaxed ambience. Drinks are served in coffee cups to preserve the speakeasy feel.Though cocktails not super good so don’t expect world class drinks, but definitely recommended to go for a casual drink before or after dinner.

Emily Zabaleta: Holiday has been all my friends favorite for years now. Best drinks, best music, sooo chill, and I swear every time I go its a guaranteed good time.We've always loved it for a night out but over the last few months I've thrown some of the MOST fun parties there. The team lets you reserve a section of the bar and create custom cocktail menus. I've thrown both a viewing party and an engagement party here and they accommodated both so incredibly. They even have a huge projector if needed! This place has a such a fun but grounded energy, my group of twenty somethings to our parents had an awesome time.Barbara and the team couldn't have been more awesome to work with. All the bartenders are talented and super kind. Thanks again guys!

Hector LeBron: Had a great experience here. From beginning to end. The drink selection is definitely out if the ordinary. Maybe a little out there for some of us, but man they sure are creative. The whole atmosphere, and the place just vibes.Couples night out, friend's night, or even a date. This is a great place to stop by and enjoy. Just remember to say the password, or they won't let you in.
