Noodle Village: what do users think?

JasonthedrummerNYC: Begs for tips not professionalService: 1/5 …

Vincent Keller: Das waren mit Abstand die besten gebratenen Nudeln jemals!!!!Nur zu empfehlen 👍

Queer Eats NYC: We had a large group of ten and Noodle Village was extremely accommodating. They let us split the bill individually, the service was fantastic, and the food was great! Everything came out so fast and was piping hot. There were so many awesome options, I ordered the pan fried vegetable dumplings and the vegetable fried noodles. Both were fantastic, the dumplings were huge and delicious. The noodle portion was also large enough for two meals. Everyone at our table really enjoyed their food and felt comfortable in the space. We will definitely be back!Review from one of our members: Noodle Village has really amazing shrimp and pork wonton soup with a flavorful broth. Make sure to go here for friendly service, great ambience, and delicious Chinese food that won’t break the bank!

Rosie: Best hongkong style food in Manhattan. The shrimp wonton was delightful and perfectly plump. The soup dumpling is actually one of the best I tried in new York so far. Much better than nan Xiang Xiao long bao in flushing. The beef chow fun was also everything I crave for. The noodle had the perfect texture and a lot of “wok hei” I can tell that they have perfected their technique in that dish. The price overall is not expensive compared to other place in Manhattan.

Honestly Name a better place if you have one: 7/23Ok fish & vegetables over riceA pretty solid place for Cantonese cuisineSolid fried riceGood salt and pepper pork chopPoor beef chow funMapo tofu okWet egg n beef flavorfulFyi Waiter would sell something that they don't have

Jimmy (Jimbo): Food: 4/5

Carlo Fong Luy: Great spot for old school classic Cantonese food! With all the nouveau Chinese spots mushrooming around town, it’s comforting to come back to one’s roots sometimes. I appreciate the efficient service, the portions and quality.

James Tsao: I come here to eat because of the nostalgic feeling of eating at a traditional Chinese round table. Five or six family members and friends order a few dishes together, with a bowl of good soup and white rice. It is really enjoyable to chat while eating.Their dishes are hot and tasty, and there are many choices for lunch specials; this is the reason why I give five stars because of its low price and good quality.

My Ex: Super solid choice on Mott St. Go here not Wo Hop across the street. Some of the best lunch specials in Manhattan and well priced. Civil service workers come here, their biggest secret. Charming staff, they speak English well. The food is top notch.Updated 11/22Prices are still low, most over rice dishes are around $6.50 and most lunch specials are $7.50 cash only. Great to go to when doing jury duty

albert eng: The waiter/owner made a derogatory remark towards me. I will never go back and I urge everyone especially American born Chinese to do the same. I hope this place shuts down soon !

Shanghai 21: what do users think?

Jackie Gordon Singing Chef: UPDATED: this may be my favorite Shanghainese spot in the Manhattan Chinatown.Five of us had dinner there the other night. If you go at a busy time you'll probably going to have to wait but I think it's worth it. After a 45 minute wait, we were very happy to dive into soup dumplings, shumai, tiny steamed buns, cold noodles with sesame sauce, salt and pepper shrimp, wontons in Szechuan sauce, sauteed snow pea shoots with garlic, and pork chops with sweet and sour sauce. My tip is to get the sauce on the side and dip or spoon the sauce over the delicious crunchy pork chop bits. That way they don't get soggy. We ordered sliced chicken with mixed vegetables for one of our guests who is a little on the picky side and they were happyThe first time we got takeout:We have yet to eat here but we've gotten take away from here several times recently. They have excellent dumplings! Here's what we ordered last time. BLove the Cold Noodles with sesame sauce. Pork fried dumplings are very good. Some of the best we've had in Chinatown in the city.Szechuan Style Wonton were delicious.Shrimp & watercress clear dumplings were quite tasty. The Dry Fried String Beans with pork were very good!Hot and Sour Soup very tasty. A lot of places get that soup wrong.

Priscilla Shannon: The food was excellent! It was definitely worth the hour long plus wait. It’s not the biggest restaurant and was a bit crowded so seating for five wasn’t the most accommodating. Restrooms weren’t the cleanest and the build up of trash spring outside the restaurant while we’re waiting was a bit smelly. Rating on food alone is a 5. The service was quick and to the point.

Maxime Rao: La nourriture servie y est très bonne. Les prix sont très abordables pour une telle qualité à New York.

Betsy Van Die: and the Steamed Watercress and Shrimp Dumplings - incredible deliciousness housed in gorgeous green dough. We wanted the Steamed Snow Pea Leaves with Shrimp Dumplings, but they were out of snow peas. The service was attentive and excellent. The only downside is that two nearby tables with many people caused a noise level that was uncomfortable. Additional kudos for the super clean bathroom!

BMW S1000 RR: Byliśmy w godzinach szczytu i trzeba było chwilkę poczekać za stolikiem co tylko dobrze świadczy o miejscu. Jedzenie bardzo dobre, palce lizać.

Yiwanmen: what do users think?

Jenny Peng: Was hungry for noodles and found this gem. Chong Qin noodles were soooo yummy and flavorful. The noodles had the best texture and the soup was amazing. One of my fave noodle spots in nyc now!!

Sri Purwaningsih: The food is delicious

Frugal Cyclist: $10.85 for #2, spicy beef noodles. Yiwanmen is a hole in the wall noodle spot. Literally translates into 1 bowl of noodle. Add extra noodles for $2 more. Recommended if you are famished cyclist doing 50 miles. I officially nominate this place for the best noodle shop in Chinatown/Little Italy 🇮🇹. Authentic & bursting with flavor & spices. Now in my TOP FAVORITES 👍

Oliver: and the ChongQing style noodle soup

Stormtrooper: Absolutely amazing food! I wish more people knew about it.

Linda M: Went a few months back and ordered a variety of items including jianbing, a soup and a noodle dish. Everything was ok but not really memorable. Pricing was fair. I would try again but eat in next time.

Kathy Su: Overall disappointing experience. First the Jian bing is not authentic at all. The type of flour they use for it is not the mung bean flour. In addition they add weird ingredients to it that you would not find the in the authentic Beijing Jian Bing. There are many other places in Manhattan and Flushing that have more authentic Jian Bing. It’s disappointing that in the middle of Chinatown you’d find this Americanized version. The noodle soup was very average too. The portion was quite small for the price.

Kwei Fei Info: Tiny little gem. A much stop everytime we're in NY.

yan kuang: At the end of the meal, I found a screw cap in the bowl, and asked the staff in the store. The first reaction was to question me, thinking that it was not a problem in the store. After confirmation, it was said that it fell off the cooking noodle basket.....

Jack Alpert: Noodles and jianbing both out of this world. Super excellent. I come here as often as possible.

k h: . The employee was also very rude when we cleaned up after ourselves & brought our tray back to the counter to ask if there is a place we should return it

Big Wong: what do users think?

Mélanie DANTUNG: We came to this neighborhood during our trip, we love Chinese food but here I am disgusted with the community and the food, greasy, expensive and above all a very unpleasant staff so much so that they forgot us a dish, they wanted to make us pay for it but fortunately we know how to count. I absolutely do not recommend and especially a very different behavior with tourists. go your way

Stephen Bennett: Great way to experience Chinese food in NY - the waiters are no-nonsense but prompt. Make sure you are ready with your food order! It is cash only but there is an ATM - also worth noting they include the service charge in the bill so don’t over tip! We ordered:157 - Chicken with broccoli159 - chicken ding with cashew nut156 - sweet and sour chicken91 - roast pork fried rice128 - pork chop with peking sauceIt was great!!

Sherry Z: . Really fresh you tiao

flipper88881: and were not the least bit interested in making this a pleasant experience for us. Food was not good at all and the place was dirty. On top of all that "tip" was mandatory on the bill

Angelo Luchetti: lack of air conditioningdirty dishes left out.worse than hospital food.we all got stomach pains.-5 stars

Mariah Macon: I went here for lunch with my husband and two friends. The first thing I noticed is they do not greet you at all and are cash only. The next thing I noticed is the luke warm air which ain’t to much of a concern. I went up and asked for a table and was given one in the back in between two other tightly placed tables. One of the people in my party saw how tight the tables are and he is 6 5’ and realized he won’t fit and even if he could possible make it work, he would of been very uncomfortable. He decided to wait outside. This made the rest of my group uncomfortable as well but we were starving. We got quick appetizers due to our waiting friend and it took them about 15 minutes before they came to take our order. Someone did keep coming by the table to fill the water which was the only polite service we received during our time here. Once the order was placed it came pretty quickly within about 10 minutes. The only issue was I ordered the same appetizer as my friend and only one came out? They also brought the bill to my husband when we need a two separate bills. I decided to just get the cash from my friend to add to the bill and gave her a $20 for our part. The bill was $16. My plan was to give her $25 and to use separate money to tip I wanted the change from my $20 back. The lady goes “ YOU’RE NOT GOING TO TIP !!!?” I explained our bill not being separate and she reluctantly went to give me my change back and we were so uncomfortable I told her to keep it. I was planning on tipping based on service and was still planning to give her more than $4. Honestly though based on the long time to take my order, incorrectly taking my order, assuming my husband is paying the bill and then not giving us two bills, I honestly feel like the service was bad and a tip wasn’t deserved to her but to the person who kept our waters full. I did check and other reviews have also pointed out the awful customer service too. I will say the food was good but there are many other places to eat in this area I would go anywhere but here.

Hop Kee: what do users think?

Daniel Daniel: Visit this place if you'd like to waste your $$$

김양훈: The food tastes good, but the overall service is poor. Not to mention missing the food you ordered, there is no effort to bring it back after missing it. Koreans often look for it and it is introduced through Korean media, so many Koreans come, but please don't come here. Go to another restaurant nearby, such as uncle lou. Service can be omitted, and if the restaurant considers the reasonable price, the customer has to bear the slight lack of service. However, it is really absurd to ask to cancel the order without acknowledging the wrong service after missing the order. This is the first time in my life that I have been to a restaurant without tipping.

MJ Yoon: Gospel rice as a Chinese restaurant is rice with gospel riceThere is no characteristic firmness. The meat dish has a little smell, but it is soft and crispy.Cabbage dish was a good combination because it was a taste that could hold the greasy feeling.***Tips 18% are included in the receipt and cash only.***
