Thunder DOUZE: Road trip in june 2022 : 16 days. We paid for "Motorcycle Model Guaranteed". And they didn't gave us the bike we paid for... No Tour pak, small and uncomfortable saddle. Horrible. The man just said to us : "I reimburse you the amount for Motorcycle Model Guaranteed".No explanation other than "the motorbikes have already been rented". However, we had expressly reserved this model of motorcycle 1 month in advance.

I probably won't do justice with my words the kindness and care that was given to us.After our whole vacation we both agreed that Frederique was THE highlight of our trip. From the moment we met he was so endearing and helpful.Operationally, he was thorough in the walk through of the bike operation and clear when signing off on documentation.His social skills ! I felt like we had met our long lost uncle. He gave us such good recommendations about the area, places to eat, ways to experience the real culture of NYC. He gave us his number incase we run into any issues on our journey or if we needed any advice on any aspect of our trip.Upon returning, he was just as kind to literally take us back to our hotel via bus and subway as he was headed home that way. He gave us a defacto guided tour of the the skyline , the walk, and provided some cool history information.He even offered to help us on our next visit so we can explore more of Brooklyn and Queens.I couldn't rate anyone this notable on my previous vacations to date. brynda MARA: FANTASTIC SERVICE! They did not have the motorcycle I requested, but Frederique went out of his way to find another location with a similar bike. He even offered to upgrade me free of charge if we could not find another location. He was able to set me up with another location in NJ honoring the same price and the 30% discount I got. He even sent me directions and train information to easy my travel.I’m very happy and look forward to renting from them again in the future. Plus the store is combined with a Harley Davison dealership and is absolutely beautiful. You get welcomed with free water, coffee and snacks.

What an absolute professional, he allayed our fears, made sure the changes we wanted were implemented, finalised the booking and sent us immediate confirmation.We duly met him him when we flew from Europe to pick up the bike at the end of April, and once again he could not have been more helpful.He is a credit to himself and a massive asset to Eaglerider........a company that needs more people like him, who actually understand the meaning of customer satisfaction, and apply themselves to make it happen.To balance it out a little on Eagleridrer, the bike ran like clockwork for the 5000+ miles and returning the bike in San Francisco was all very straightforward and professional.A big public thank you to Frederique from two delighted customers.Gerry Pentleton & Sara Williams

Michael Donohue: went out of his way to explain the entire process prior to leaving the facility. He was helpful in allowing me a place to store my personal belonging, to understand the rental agreement, and to have his personal contacts while out on the road. I did call Frederique prior to rental date and requested a back rest and luggage rack to haul my belongings. This was provided with no hassle. The motorcycle ran without any issues and was a newer machine. The return of the motorcycle, as did the initial check in, were absolutely no issues. Easy in and easy out! I would highly recommend this establishment.

John Welborn: I have rented from Eagle Rider on Staten Island multiple times and have always had a great experience. Frederique goes above and beyond to make sure I am on the road ASAP. I normally rent the Heritage Softail for local riding, but recently I rented the Street Glide Touring Edition for a long trip and it was fantastic! Go see Frederique soon and hit the road on a Harley Davidson.

Damara Abdul Ghani: Out of all the times my fiance and I rented bikes from EagleRider, this was one of the most helpful staff we've encountered. Especially how nice the manger Frederique was to us when we really needed it. During our arrival it started to rain and a staff member walked over with the radar on his phone showing us when we might have a break to get going on our trip. Even gave us rain gear advise. When we felt comfortable enough, that same staff member cleaned off our bikes for us right before we got on so we didn't sit on wet bikes. On our way back from our trip we ran into a couple challenges and with a phone call to Frederque he managed it all in 5min with a super calm and carefree attitude which made a stressful situation at lot easier for us as customers. Thank you so much!!!

Erick Villanueva: I went here for a routine inspection for my motorcycle on Tuesday 4/25/23 @ 1000h. There were two individuals working to put together a motorcycle in the shop when I walked up. I politely told them what I needed and one of them yelled to someone in the back for an inspection to which another individual yelled back “10 minutes”. I waited patiently and 10 minutes turned to 20 minutes, and then 30 minutes. No one came out of the shop and the individuals working on the motorcycle gave no further acknowledgement of me. During the whole time I was there they didn’t even turn towards me to where I could even see their faces. This place has terrible customer service, were rude, dismissive, and very unprofessional. A very big waste of time.

He was able to help me get a good deal, and was very helpful with explaining any concerns I had. Didn't feel like I was being pressured at all.I've also had my older bike serviced here and they were able to help me fix my service needs.

Your bike can be in the shop for weeks and somehow a few hours of labor will charge you a lot. They are believably expensive. This was my last time going here. I don’t know what I was thinking.

I called all the Kawasaki dealers in New York and NY Motorcycle was the only one that got right down to what needed to be done when I had an issue with my Kawasaki Jetski. We set-up everything ahead of time and scheduled an appointment. When I got there at least 3 employees were working on it. It took quite some assembly but I was in/out in 1-2 hours. If you're buying Kawasaki, get a warranty.

Sashi Grayndler: Our guide Philip was knowledgeable and amusing, lots of interesting and fun facts, and he was patient and kind.. I was travelling solo, so was in a group with a couple from England and a mother and son from France. Their company also enhanced the experience.So glad I chose eBike, as there are hilly areas. Definitely recommend eBike. You will enjoy the experience better if you are not pedalling or pushing bikes uphill.Pleasant girl at reception though she tried to charge me again for a basket which I had already paid online,(booked online that morning) only to realise can't have baskets on eBike - that should have been made clear when booking online. Thankfully just $1 extra.Apart from that, it was a great 2 hours, we had an overcast day with slight breeze so it wasn’t enervating.

Knight: I had a terrible experience at Bike Rental NYC located at 203W 58th St. I was excited to rent a road bike for the first time in a while, but unfortunately, I was met with nonchalant and dismissive customer service that left me feeling disrespected. When I expressed safety concerns about the size of the bike to the attendant, they did not take them seriously and gave me no assurance that the bike was safe to use. I would go as far as to say they were not even remotely knowledgeable about the product they were selling. This lack of concern showed me that they do not put their customers' needs or concerns first. To make things worse, they gave me the runaround when I asked for a refund. This behavior should be unacceptable by any respectable business, yet it seemed they was all too comfortable with letting customers leave feeling frustrated and upset. I expected to have a great experience but instead was left feeling cheated. I do not recommend this bike rental place to anyone, and I suggest looking elsewhere for bike rentals. This business doesn’t deserve your support.
petra entius: They said you don't have to reserve a time they have enough electric scooters but if you arrive they don't have any scooters, you can't reserve them for an hour later or so and they don't give refund.Be aware not to make a reservation online and pay beforehand.Communucation at the store very rude. N D: We had a confirmation e-mail from reservation agent to pick up our bikes at this location but the receptionist at this location did not honor it. I tried to call the Bike Rent NYC for help but they ignored to help and dropped my call in the middle of conversation. Very poor customer service and questionable business. Will not recommend these guys at all and won't rent from them again. .
Ashley Owens: This was a great way to see Central Park. We rented e-bikes so that the ride was not too strenuous especially on the hills. Definitely recommend the e-bike if you are not a regular bike rider. Some of the hills on the tour were pretty steep. Edward was a great tour guide and gave us lots of history of the park and the buildings around the park. Overall my son and I had a great time.

Valy VIGIER: Éric n’est pas aimable du tout voire insolent. Ne répond jamais au téléphone alors qu’il est censé assurer la permanence. Il se fait passer pour le responsable et qu’il gère la boutique mais est complètement incompétent. Je ne recommande pas du tout cette boutique à cause de lui, c’est dommage les autres employées sont sympathiques.Nous avons dû payer un supplément de 32$ pour quelques minutes de retard alors que nous avions tenté de les joindre par téléphone plusieurs fois dans le temps imparti mais personne ne répondait alors qu’on nous avait demandé de téléphoner en cas de problème.Nous devions louer de nouveau des vélos avec des amis, mais nous irons chez la concurrence la prochaine fois.

vincent gribbin: Awfully run company, we booked for 8am from the north park location and waited an hour only to find out they had closed that location. We then got a taxi to their main location to speak to someone about it but spoke to 5 employees and all of them didn’t seem to want to help, one of which refused to let us hire the bikes we had paid for unless we walked back to the north park location. They then told me I had to give over my ID and would receive it back from whatever location I drop the bike back to (apparently they’ll deliver it to me there). They then refused a refund despite us asking politely. Do not use this company

Conner Kechriotis: Poorly maintained bikes and horrible (if not predatory) customer service!One of the worst customer service experiences I have experienced and observed for a business in NYC.They were incredibly rude to me and other customers in the store, and also incredibly disorganized.When my friend and I went to pick up the bikes they suddenly out of nowhere requested that we give them a deposit, despite never mentioning the need for a deposit before when renting the bikes.Upon returning the bikes they managed to lose the information about my friend’s deposit, and he had to wait around for 30 minutes for them to work it out.Other customers in store I saw being treated extremely rudely by the staff. I saw a man that after 30 minutes of riding a road bike in Central Park had a flat tire that he claimed was caused by a tire that was clearly old.Instead of offering to make it right for this man for wasting his day and causing him to have to walk the bike all the way back to them they demanded he pay them for “damaging” their bike.Honestly the list of bad things I saw this day and me and my friends experienced goes on.I was tempted to give them 2 stars because I did ultimately get my deposit back and my back didn’t fail on me, but honestly I think I just dodged a bullet. Would not ever rent anything from this store again and would advise you to stay clear.

E. H.: They have several locations and rental and tour options. We were nervous about riding bikes on city streets so we rented closest to central park. I definitely didn’t know that Central Park has so many hills. So heads up, bring water and expect an hour minimum to ride the path on a regular bicycle. We took several breaks to walk and rest on a warm day so we barely made it back in two hours. I wish I’d rented them for three hours so we could wander more. The bike trail/road is busy, even on a Tuesday and you don’t see many landmarks from the bike path but it’s fun on a nice day and it’s a good break from all the walking.The rental and return process was simple, the bikes were well maintained and sufficient. But if you want a more relaxing adventure-get the e-bikes.
Daryl Schauss: Easily 5+ Stars!! We did the 2 hour scooter tour of Central Park and our guide was Aaron. Highly recommend Aaron and the scooters as we covered the entire 6 mile outer perimeter loop of the park with 8 historic stops along the way. You’ll get more exercise with bikes but you cover much more area with the scooters. Awesome 2 hour tour with Central Park history. Be sure to ask for Aaron!

Joshua Rodriguez: Rented a scooter here for about 6months, put about 400miles on it and had zero issues with the scooter and zero issues with the App the whole time. I’m a personal trainer so the locking feature was crucial for me as I traveled around the city and made frequent stops on a tight schedule.The only Con is the scooter is front heavy so you have to keep your weight back in order to ride safely on the fastest mode, 20mph. However, this wasn’t a big deal for me and just adjusted my riding style a bit.Customer support is top notch; no automated system, no 3rd party call centers, just the real Beyond Team (Jasper is great).
JO LO: I’m going to be truly honest for my review. I got tired of using Citi Bike as a rideshare service and was interested in possibly using a scooter service. After doing some research, I know that I wanted a scooter service that was easy to pick up and was able to receive a replacement or service same day if necessary. Beyond seemed like the fit for me. I filled out the application and paid the fee, went to the location in lower Manhattan to pick up my scooter, and everything was smooth there. Being used to the smoother, electric bike experience I didn’t really like how you felt every single bump When riding. I thought it was really convenient to have an app that allowed me to lock the scooter when I had to run into the store really quick, etc.. however, there were many times where it lagged and I had to restart the app a couple times to unlock. But nothing crazy except two weeks into my using the scooter it was stolen. Someone strategically removed the scooter, leaving the lock intact, Which blew my mind that there was no type of alert, alarm or anything In the app to tell me. The morning after I spoke to beyond they basically explained, I was subject to all of the terms and conditions and I was out raged because I hadn’t even had the scooter a month. I do feel that there was some thing they couldve done considering the amount of time I was with them(14days) I’m not sure it was right for someone to have your product for such a short amount of time and it be EASILY stolen and then say yeah you owe us $200 before we can replace it. All they did was offer to pay the $200 in installments, and I had to have the entire deductible pay before receiving my replacement smh.. unfortunately, this was not for me and I would not suggest this product to anyone. Hopefully, they develop better scooters and processes to accommodate people who take a chance on them.

This is the kind of brand that makes NYC great!
Michael Rubin: My experience was terrific with the entire staff at this company. The person on the phone who was a woman was so friendly, and answered all my questions. The price in my opinion is very good. Considering that every payment goes towards the purchase price, and any maintenance along with theft insurance is included. I own another scooter, but I like the SV1 for these reasons. 1) Lightweight for an e-scooter (approx 26 pounds). 2) Integrated smart lock and GPS tracking 3) sleek design w/cool running lights. 4) easy to transport when folded 5) USB port for charging a phone 6) easy folding ability w/slim profile.When I arrived at the HQ in Tribeca to pick up the scooter. I was greeted by Jasper who was very professional, and went over everything in detail.This was my first experience with this type of service, and I was very impressed. I live outside of NYC, and the only requirement is that the scooter must be brought into the main HQ for any repair work. That’s not an issue for me since I commute to NYC.If you’re still on the fence about getting an e-scooter and you live near this business, I would give them a try. Worst case scenario you cancel your subscription and return the scooter.This review is based on my own personal experience. I was not in any way compensated for leaving this review. The motor and battery are great 👍🏼 but the accessories can be better, my biggest pain no rear light. Maybe put some red LEDs on the rear of the scooter by the yellow line and the front LED can be a lot better, just a thought! Thank you!
Ertis Pashako: Im really loving my scooter, it saves me money and time and I cant ask for nothing better. The price is affordable compared to everyone else in NYC and the costumer service that this company provides is top notch. Getting the scooter was pretty easy. I set up my account online, they scheduled an appointment for me to come in and test ride the scooter, ( Jasper and Paola) made this process so easy for me. In just 10 min I walked out their store with my scooter. If you thinking about it just do it, you will win.

I am a recurring rider for a full year now and every time I reach out the service is fast, efficient, and superbly friendly! And they always do whatever they can to get me the best deal and make me feel like a valued customer!! Plus, as an avid scooter rider in other cities as well, I find that beyond’s prices are by far the most affordable and come with more support than any other company has as well! So thankful to the whole team for their dedication! Can’t recommend them more!!

Everything from the initial communication to my experience picking up and returning the scooters was seamless. Their pricing is fair, the customer service was impeccable (they offered complimentary espresso upon my arrival, please name another scooter/bike rental business in town that does that), and they were very thorough with explaining how the scooters worked. On top of that, they take very good care of their equipment and make sure you’re taken care of. I really only have positive things to say about my experience with Beyond.

They offered an hour extra for tommorow which I know is a gimmick cause they don't wanna deal with that so as a result I was done wrong, I didn't get my money worth of service which I paid in advance.FYI ! Please give your customers fully charged vehicles and learn some customer service skills because you can't just apologize for everything because sometimes it just needs to show.

Aris Spyropoulos: One of the electric bicycles we rent after short time the battery stopped working. Probably because it wasn’t properly charged by the shop. We asked from the staff to give us a partial refund. They declined. Very unprofessional!

We suggested them to give us a refund and pay as a regular bike, but they didn’t accept it. The attitude and the customer service was rude and unprofessional.
