Ziva Meditation: what do users think?

Matt MacGregor: for what is essentially a facebook group. Sometimes moderators directly answer questions but often they don’t and its left to other ziva group members. When I complained because I didn’t realize this 6-month commitment was built in, I was told tough luck.If you want to take additional courses expect to pay through the nose.Bottom line: good meditation instruction but with little depth

Jeanne Aragon: They will get you there. Unbelievable.Mindfulness. Meditation. Manifestation.

Zen Jenn Meditations: I have been meditating for many years. I am a podcast host and one of my guests told me about Ziva.I signed up for the course with very low expectations. Emily completely exceeded my expectations with her take on meditation. I love that she backs up things with scientific evidence. No wonder she is leading with such success. I find her absolutely brilliant!

Monika G: I have been following Emily Fletcher for couple of years. I appreciate her pragmatic and entertaining approach. She makes meditation light and enjoyable.

Christopher Wofford: I have mixed feelings about Emily's mass market meditation practice. I do believe there are some immediate, high quality benefits. At the same time, she offers herself as being accessible -- and the reality is that she's so busy commercializing / branding herself, that she seemingly has little interest in actual clients. My message to her is: either you're available, or you aren't.

VIPIN KAMBOJ: Iam very satisfied 👍 this is best way to inform global learners about overseas study👍

Carolina Geoghegan: my husband and I are going on a fertility treatment ride that we couldn’t have ever imagined would be as rough as it has been. When we started trying to expand our family, we got pregnant right away, we were so happy it happened right away - sadly, had a miscarriage a month later and learned a lot about how common miscarriages are. Then we continued our journey and after a year of trying naturally, we decided to go into fertility treatments and here’s where this all ties together - this brought a level of anxiety, uncertainty and confusion, not to mention this topic took over our lives. The hardest part of this process for me is the harvesting the egg phase where while on hormones, ovaries get so big that the doctors recommend not doing any vigorous exercise for high risk of ovarian torsion. So doing this training gave me light into what life has become for me: meditation to be able to move forward. Emily’s program is geared to help you understand how you can improve your health, your relationships

Jessica Piccola: . The studio itself is so relaxing and calming and is just a beautiful space to learn meditation! It’s worth the investment!!!

Jeffrey Welton: Amazing experience!

Steve Galeazzi: Such a positive experience! I’ll admit that I was skeptical when my friend first recommended Ziva, but I’m truly thankful I went. Emily has cracked the code for people like me to be able to meditate. Before I went in I figured I’m just not the type who can do it- I’m too busy, I can’t sit cross-legged comfortably, and I simply can’t quiet my mind from all the thoughts racing around. Good news is that you don’t have to worry about any of that! Seriously, I couldn’t believe how accessible this form of meditation is and it feels great! Highly recommend it and hope that many others will give themselves this gift to improve their health, wellness, and performance alike.

Jason Rueda: It's been 90 days since I took the course in person. My experience has been extraordinary in so many ways. I meditate every single day and have gained so much value. There have been many breakthroughs and look forward to many more.I come from a world of personal development and growth. Started 13 years ago and now work for Tony Robbins. I have studied from many of the great teachers and Emily is by far one of my top 5.Emily teaches 100% of the material and is easily approachable! She is extremely kind, thoughtful, wise, brilliant, and extremely funny. She has such a huge heart. The way she teaches makes learning the material effortlessly.

Bree French: program a little over a year ago but it didn't "click". Emily lays out her program in a way that considers the hurdles you'll need to navigate today. She uses language and examples that help you truly understand what is meditating and helps prevent you from frustration that you think you are meditating wrong. I'm very grateful for this program.

Lauren Adams: Emily Fletcher’s Ziva has changed my life! I started with the Ziva Online program, then Ziva Live and now Moving into Mastery. I’ve experimented with a number of other meditation programs, none can compare. Emily uses relatable stories to explain and illustrate. She shares her never ending knowledge of the Vedas and answers questions before you even think of what to ask. I highly recommend all of her programs!

Simon Lewis: I've completed a number of courses, online and in person in London with Emily and the Ziva team. They were the doorway into my spiritual journey and 6 months on I'm still meditating twice daily and have a whole host of brilliance finding its way into my life. Can't recommend Ziva enough!

Vajradhara Meditation Center: what do users think?

Amy E Schwartz: This is a lovely meditation center in Brooklyn. The space is welcoming and peaceful--a great place to engage in meditation and also get teachings on Buddhist meditation. I have really appreciated getting to know the community of meditators and teachers here. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to learn how to meditate or who is interested in taking their meditation practice deeper with a community.

Susie Church: and the classes are both accessible to a beginner and chock full of learnings if you’ve heard similar topics before. We’ve been going to the center consistently for over a year now, and truly feel like we’ve found our second home in Brooklyn.

Rose Sherman (Rosie): I have been putting off meditation for a very long time now - sure that it would help me but not sure where to start. When I looked up "Brooklyn Meditation", Vajradhara was of course the first to pop up and I'm so glad it did. I attended a number of one-off courses before committing to a membership and really loved the space, community, and energy that Kadam Kyle brings to the classes. I feel very supported, even as a beginner, and inspired to keep up the practice. Thank you to everything that the teachers, student volunteers, and fellow meditators do to make such a welcoming and open space to explore Buddhism and mindfulness!

Amy Victoria McEwen: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality

William Brittelle: . Kadam Matthew is a wonderful teacher, I've learned so much from his lectures. The overall environment is incredibly welcoming, and the community is engaged, compassionate, intelligent, and extremely friendly. I've tried a number of different Buddhist centers over the years and this one is definitely my favorite.

Rachael Stark-Egolf: Quite simply, as I have written elsewhere, the best meditation center I have ever found. The teacher, Matthew, is extraordinary--so learned and so welcoming to everyone. There is so much knowledge about Buddhism and also practical "how to" on developing your own meditation practice. I also can't say enough good things about the warmth and depth of the community. Everyone comes from all walks and paths of life. This is the single best find I have discovered in Brooklyn and I am beyond grateful. It's a treat, a celebration of life, and amazing instruction in the Buddhist path. I recommend the center to anyone and everyone looking to find a quality, informed, and caring community. They are also welcoming to first-timers and anyone interested in sampling meditation and Buddhism. There is no pressure to adhere to any specific technique and everyone honestly cares about everyone else. Thank you for being a home!!

Jasmine Davidson: The VMC changed my life. I had been in New York for seven years and had not been able to find a spot that felt right. When I joined the VMC I found my second family. The community is unlike any other in New York: it is full of inspiring and thoughtful people, individuals who seek a greater sense of purpose and connection. Not only did I love the people I met, but the instructor was also amazing. I was hooked from his first class--he is relatable, funny, intelligent, well-read, and patient. Highly recommend the VCM for anyone looking for a spiritually-minded community focused on self-improvement and global betterment.

DTO Ortiz: we need to cultivate to create a happier self. I am forever grateful to him and all who help maintain this center. Truly fortunate that it is right here in Brooklyn.❤️

Kyler Lofton: The Vajradhara Meditation Center is truly a special place. The teacher is welcoming, knowledgeable, and has a side of humor that will surprise you. Each time I attend, I walked away with something new that pushed my thinking.

Joe Gomez: Positive:QualityVajradhara is more than just a place to go for meditation. It's a community of supporting friendly people that I'm so fortunate to have met! I can't recommend this meditation center enough.

Xeni Fragakis: I'm glad this place exists. It's made a real difference in my life.

William Davidson: Before attending my first class here, I had no prior experience with meditation centers, I had only read a few books on Buddhism. I walked in off the street and met Anne and Tom who were members and volunteer assistants for the class. They were so welcoming and funny that I was almost sad when it came time for the class.I was a little pessimistic about meditation teachers coming in, assuming they would probably be pretentious or try to "preach" at me. Kadam Matthew, the resident teacher, came in looking very normal and friendly. Not only was he humble and personable, but he created an atmosphere where I was very comfortable and enjoyed myself. He made the lesson seem very personal and I felt it was very clear how it applied to me as a person who lived in Brooklyn, and I felt that I had a pleasant, small realization in that first class. In the end I was very impressed by his general intelligence and it was very clear to me that he was very knowledgeable on all topics related to BuddhismAfter class I decided to stick around, and I continued to befriend Tom, Anne, and a number of the regular class attendees. Kadam Matthew came up as well to sit with us and he happily answered any and all questions we had. After such a wonderful first experience, I decided to try a few more classes before I got a membership. Though the class assistants and attendees varied, there was a consistency in the friendly, enjoyable atmosphere, that kept me coming back. After a few weeks I got a membership, and it has been the best money I've ever spent. I found a community of like-minded people who all are seeking something more from life. I would highly highly suggest going to a class with an open mind and no expectations, then just see if you don't find yourself having a grand time and learning practical lessons to improve your human experience.Further, they are doing an excellent job with their livestreams while the physical location is shut down due to the pandemic. Please keep up the good work!!

Shawna Kent: meditation class. His teaching style makes the profound easier to understand. Not only will it occupy your time, it will take you out of the day-to-day worry and give you a perspective that transcends the ordinary.Sumit, the class assistant, will be there to guide you should you have any technical issues, and will facilitate the answering of all questions in the helpful ‘chat’ section.

Rachel Levine: I had never been to a meditation center and was apprehensive to go somewhere new. When I went for the first time a couple years ago, the members were warm and welcoming. I've since met people and look forward to connecting with them. I have also learned so much from the classes, not to sound corny, but it has profoundly changed my life. And right now, in the midst of this pandemic, I have found it especially helpful to stay grounded and calm. Kadam Matthew has a way of making the teachings applicable to everyday life, and I find myself thinking about what I have learned often during the day.

Nate Shaw: I finally stepped into the center after having passed it many times & it has been a wonderful addition to my life. My meditation practice has improved dramatically...IOW, I am now sitting multiple times a day and finding some peace of mind. And the community has been a welcome addition. Kind people. All walks of life. Dedicated to exploring Buddhism together. And most importantly, everyone is allowed to grow at their own pace.I highly encourage stopping by for a general class. This place is a neighborhood gem!!

Jeremy Matz: I always thought I couldn't meditate, but coming here regularly really helped. Classes always provide some nugget of informaiton, which is simultaneously obvious and thought provoking. The people I've met there are all friendly and welcoming, from diverse backgrounds. I highly recommend.

William Mabe: I first walked into Vajradhara Meditation Center almost five years ago and have been coming to meditation classes regularly ever since. What keeps me coming back? The meditation classes are fantastic, with clear instruction about what meditation is and how to meditate. The classes also include a lot of practical advice that I can apply to my daily life. It's improved my work relationships and really helped me transform a couple of stressful work environments into very chill situations. It has also significantly improved my relationship with my wife. I can't recommend the place enough to anyone feeling a need to make a change in their life. But perhaps the thing that I've most connected with is the welcoming sense of community that I felt right form the start. I think this comes from the fact that everyone at the Center is a volunteer and no one doing the jobs at the Center is doing it for a paycheck. I mean, I love my job too, but I'm not sure I'd be volunteering to do it sans salary. I've actually become a volunteer too. and it's a great community.
