When I arrived to the store I was met by Arturo the assistant store manager. He was patient with me allowing me to see and feel each watch. On top of that he was able to recite the specifications of each watch off the top of his head. I ended up getting the Ice Monster Automatic 43 mm in white. It was a beautiful watch. On top of that Arturo was able to make recommendations on a leather band that can be exchanged for the metal bracelet to make the watch more casual. Furthermore they were able to gift wrap the item for me. Would highly recommend a visit.

Angel Fernandez: Bucherer profiles customers interested in purchasing Rolexes. It was done to me and I noticed it being done to others. They ask for occupation, background, and residence. After going through that ridiculous “screening”, was given the runaround for months. In the meantime, I know of others who bought the same exact watch without any wait.Ultimately, I was told by the associate “helping” me that he has “2 doctors waiting for Rolexes”. “One from Westchester, and another one who is from Germany.” When I asked what the relevance of telling me that was other than to make me feel unworthy, he told me he had to get to another client.In other words, I’m pretty sure Bucherer discriminates, and unless you fit a particular profile, you will not be allocated a watch.

After spending ten to fifteen minutes downstairs someone finally noticed I was there. They spoke to me about one of the pre-owned watches they had for sale. I asked a couple of questions about the watch I was looking at and the salesman dismissed those questions as unimportant. He also failed to let me take my time with a several thousand dollar purchase. I didn’t feel great about the interaction, so I left. I ended up buying a watch a couple hours later from a competitor in the neighborhood.I’m not upset or bitter, but I had hoped for more and it likely cost them the sale. The staff on the upper floors were very kind, the inventory was incredible, and the store was wonderfully decorated.

And when I saw Tudor Black Bay GMT Opaline dial, I had to do a triple take to process what I was looking at. Then I couldn't find the exhibition card, Nathan explained to me with a smile that they had just put the piece out for purchase to surprise a walk in. I think the Opaline dial version of this watch is much better than the regular black dial so I picked it up in a heartbeat. Nathan was super kind and gave me and my girlfriend some drinks and chocolates. Very happy with this watch and my first purchase at Bucherer!

During my second purchase, I was informed that I would only need to wait a few more months and that I would receive an email or call regarding my dream watch in the near future.Unfortunately, that was in 2021, and despite my frequent check-ins, visits, and emails, I am still waiting. I am aware of the way the Rolex market operates, with sales associates often reserving sought-after pieces for big spenders. However, it is unfair and disapointing to mislead customers by suggesting shorter wait times if they purchase additional watches.I regret spending my money here and wish I started my relationship with a sales associate at another retailer like Wempe or WoS.If you are considering purchasing here in hopes of one day being offered a Rolex, I would consider to a smaller retailer.

Kayhan: Came in on May 11th and, as an avid watch collector, probably got the worst initial service of my life. The service rep barely wanted to shake my hand or make eye contact with me as I tried to simply request information on a Tudor for my upcoming wedding.The service rep tried to condescendingly explain that "just because a watch has released, doesn't mean the public can buy it" as if I don't have multiple colleagues/friends in my network that have purchased said watch recently. I'm well aware of limited supply, but the way this came off was extremely unprofessional and demeaning to a knowledgable customer.I told the rep I didn't really have anything else to discuss with him and luckily, Evelyn came to me shortly after with INCREDIBLE service in comparison. Hope the other staff can get training from the likes of her.I'll be reaching out to the Bucherer regional manager this week to discuss this further, and hope that the company's leadership can understand how these interactions completely turn off avid collectors/spenders that have absolute alternatives in the city.

Wai C: Just purchased my first Rolex DateJust 41 with Semsa 3 week ago. A wonderful purchase experience. The whole team and the atmosphere are excellent. We walked in around 5 pm weekday to pick up my watch. Semsa politely welcomed us and provided us some water in the waiting area. The technician adjusted the bracelet twice to make sure it fits me perfectly. The whole process took about 20-30 mins. At the end, they also gave me a beautiful magazine. I highly recommend this store to my family and friends.

Richard Pang: . However, the opportunity to decide on whether I would keep it or not was stripped away from me when he removed the plastic and polished the watch. While I did agree to have the watch polished, he did not disclose to me the refund/return policy, whereby a polished tudor watch with the plastic removed can't be returned. Followed up with him right after I left the store and asked him why he didn't disclose this important information to me? And his response was that it's on the receipt. Maybe I should have known better, but for someone who just purchased their first watch, how would I know? I'm disgusted at Mark's professionalism and his shady sales tactic used to make a sale. Given I'm a first time customer here and having experienced this, myself and my colleagues will never shop here again.
