Brooklyn Diner USA: what do users think?

Andrei Cojocaru: as private property for their diners. The plaza at 888 7th Ave is a privately owned public space meant to be used for the general public, not as extra seating space for a private business.

Souvik Chatterjee: They are breaking the law by operating in the public space next door. That is a public space and they are using it for outdoor dining.

katja brittain: business on grounds that are meant exclusively for the general public.Atmosphere: 1/5 …

abitofjess: UPDATE:Revisited this diner and found that unfortunately, the quality and service has slipped since our last visit. We paid $35 for this 'salad' - honestly the biggest rip-off in NYC! Be sure to savor the 1 tomato wedge they give you!! Sadly, the burger wasn't as good as the one we originally ate as well. Not to mention, our server acted like a brat every time we asked for water. Really cool looking diner, but certainly better ones in the area. We won't be returning.________Absolutely delicious food! We ordered the Cheeseburger and Avocado Toast with Fried Eggs and both tasted fresh and very flavorful! Decent prices and quick service - would definitely return.

Marino Corniel: Una joya historica en el medio de la cuidad de NY. Muy buena comida con un personal muy profesional. Siempre que puedo y la situacion lo permite me doy una escapadita y voy a desayunar alla. Un menu muy variado y a su hora.

North Fork: what do users think?

Apollo Jain: , I will generally be happy. That being said, I will roast

Ray Slader: Servers were nice but it was not good service, table wasn't ready when we got there & got our orders wrong. SUPER loud in there & food was also not good :(

Sarah Lesjak: .Prices are within the NYC-standard, given the high quality of the food I am happy to pay it, it is worth every penny! The menu is small but still covers gf and vegan options as well. They offer Mediterranean cuisine including meat & fish but also a burger. Portion size is okey, one should definitely get a side when having fish. The waiting time is reasonable, the dishes are prepared to order and when served, they are appealingly arranged. The quality and texture of ingredients is very good, the dishes are tasteful and the seasoning is well-balanced.I missed the options for a side salad or boiled/baked potatoes.I disclosed my dietary requirements in the beginning and although the waiter knew about allergens in the dishes he double checked with the kitchen to make sure my choices would meet those requirements

ChefBoyRSav: Came here on a whim since my boyfriend and I were local. No reservation but staff was able to sit us outside on a Saturday. We legit came here based on the reviews for the burger. My boyfriend ordered the Northfolk burger and I got the brisket one. Both were delicious! And the fries were really good. We didn’t order dessert or apps but they all looked amazing from what we saw being ordered. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the neighborhood.

Nadia Nobrega: I’ve walked by this spot so many times, so I decided to pop in for a Sunday dinner. My table ordered the whipped feta, watermelon salad, the branzino, and the goat neck. We also ordered a spicy cucumber marg and a smoky paloma. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious! The ingredients for each dish are so fresh, and it is apparent how meticulous the chef is with how they prepare the food. We finished the meal with the strawberry ricotta cake and it was divine! The atmosphere was cute and our waiter was kind and attentive….I will definitely be returning!!

Liv Reilly: Randy was the best waiter ever! Such good vibes best bday place.

Eddie: Had a bad experience this weekend. They don't appreciate parties of 2. They decided because they had large parties that my business was unimportant to them and told me if I wanted to have brunch we could either sit outside or at the bar. Even though I booked a table inside on open table. Very rude and disrespectful. I have been coming there since they opened. I won't go back. No apology from anyone.

Eleonora Kostinsky: not only we were not seated and denied reservation but highly disrespected by the OWNER without any apologies. We even called police, at which point he started blackmailing us in front of his customers. What a shame.

Kasia Kowalski: 12/10 recommend

Sara Balaban: Such a great brunch spot and great value for the money. A meal and bottomless brunch for 1.5 hours for about $45? Done. So good-will be back!Recommended dishes …

John's Coffee Shop: what do users think?

Sarah Blakemore: Average at best. Ordered an egg on cheese with butter. Arrived with no butter, waitress gave me attitude when I asked for butter. I had to pull apart my sandwich and show her. One of the toasted bagels we ordered arrived cold bc it had obviously been sitting there awhile. There are lots of good diners in NYC, this isnt one of them.

Alexandre Carlos Lintz: A Culinary Gem in the Heart of NYC: John’s CaféJohn’s Café is a delightful culinary destination tucked in the vibrant streets of New York City. It’s the kind of place you’d stumble upon and later boast about discovering, as every morsel served on their tables is crafted to perfection. The menu at John's Cafe is an exciting gastronomic journey. Each dish offers a symphony of flavors that pleases the palate and leaves an unforgettable impression. From classic comfort food to innovative culinary creations, the quality of the cuisine is undeniably superb, consistently living up to, and even exceeding, NYC's high culinary standards.Yet, it’s not just the delicious food that makes John’s Café stand out. Their service is exceptional too. Attentive, warm, and professional, the staff makes you feel valued and at home from the moment you step through the door. Any queries or requests are swiftly accommodated, which enhances the overall dining experience. In conclusion, John’s Café is an essential stop on the NYC food tour. It combines superb food and outstanding service in an atmosphere that embraces you like a friend. It's a place that doesn't just serve meals; it creates memories. So, whether you're a local or a traveler, John’s Café is a must-visit.

S C: Nice little spot for good breakfast and great service. The staff are friendly and efficient, and keep the place clean.Wheelchair accessibility: Bathroom is not wheelchair accessible

Marie: According to the reviews, we came to this place. Although the bar looked overcrowded, the staff found a free seat for us. The atmosphere reflects NYC. Lots of people, loud, staff in a hurry; they try to please the client as much as possible, and the guests are constantly changing. We waited maybe 3 minutes for our breakfast. The staff is incredibly fast and diligent. The food is authentic. Portions are big. The service price ratio is very good. If you want to eat well and feel the real NYC like on TV, come here!

Theodoros Gerandreou: Everything is great …. Go on like this !!!

Times Square Diner & Grill: what do users think?

Greg Pittenger: Really enjoyed this off-Broadway experience—a sleepy diner, this unpretentious hole in the wall dinner elicited mid-century euro vibes. We had their Disco Fries and a chicken Benedict plate. The Benedict was nothing to write home about, but twist on poutine fries in the Disco was return-worthy. Most importantly, our service was great and our drinks were cold.

Dr. Renee Allen: Exceptional food, service and people; especially the host Emily and our phenomenal waiter EMILIO and the team. I recommend this restaurant to everyone visiting Manhattan, New York! #BamBoomPowdow

J Slot: ! Everyone was so kind, thoughtful, and welcoming. In addition, Leo went out of his way to help accommodate my gluten intolerance. I do not have Celiac’s, so I cannot speak to that, but they now have gluten-free bread and made things specifically for me with this in mind. A wonderful experience in every way. A small community feel in a big city.

Clinton St. Baking Company: what do users think?

Natalie Kasipol: the same. It’s always been a place of familiarity and comfort. However, during my last visit, service could have been better. Place was a little less than full for a Monday morning, no lines, but staff still took a while to bring out food, refill waters

Denise Whetstone: Came here while visiting NYC based on a recommendation from a friend. She said the pancakes and French toast were really good but unfortunately those items only come as a full serving and no other items. The place was extremely crowded but it took about 10-15 mins for a table, which was nice given the quote of 30 mins. The chai latte was amazing! I never add salt and pepper to my food but both my niece and I did on the hash browns. The biscuit was very thick and lacked flavor. The tomato jam taste like pizza sauce. The cheddar cheese on the eggs is good. Also enjoyed the sourdough. Staff were all friendly and helpful, although no one every checked to see how we were doing throughout other than an automated water refill. I wouldn’t discourage anyone from going but I likely won’t go back or recommended. They don’t seem to have a shortage of business anyway.

Amit Parmar: Great place! We both loved the pancakes, and the maple butter even more! We had the milk and white chocolate milkshakes and oh my, they're the best we have had! Service was perfect too. Promptly took our order after sitting down. It was also nice to have a constant supply of tap water as they have someone going round constantly with it, unlike most places where you usually have to ask for a refill.

John W. Dyson, Jr: We made our reservation on Resy, so we thought, for 2PM. When we arrived, my wife and I met Ms. Olivia Rose at the greeting station and she explained that we didn’t have a reservation and that we were on notification list with hundreds of names☹️.With that said, Ms. Olivia worked her magic and we were seated in about 20 minutes, thanks to her.Our waiter/waitress gave us great service and explained the menu options. The entire experience was fantastic as well as the food.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from Team Dyson

Le Pain Quotidien: what do users think?

Nicole Sylianteng (Nikki): This is the best LPQ location in the city. It has a nice sunny coffee shop section up front and dining in the back. It’s quiet enough to work from too with gentle classical music in the background.

Mae: Very good latte and peppermint tea. Cozy decor and lots of space for meeting friends or doing work

manjiri bhandarwar: Got the prosciutto and manchego sandwich. Gave one slice of prosciutto too much mustard and the bread was super dry. Really disappointing! Also got a lemonade iced tea that tastes like saline water. Hot chocolate was good which is why I’m giving 3 stars instead of 2.

Zongjian Liu: Ridiculously slow. Ordered a sandwich and a soup, and it took 40 minutes

J L: Made me wait 25 minutes for a small sandwich takeout, the two guys at the front very unwelcome and looking miserable, only the lady was so nice to me and polite,,,,I won’t return to this snobby place where they make you wait for ever not worth the money and the wait,.,, don’t get fooled by the look of this restaurant

Michelle Greenwald: This is a great LPQ. José Carlos, the waiter is one of the best waiters I have ever had anywhere. He's super nice, helpful and resourceful. He suggested I get the hazelnut flute toasted and it was so delicious that way and he makes the best hot mocha drinks.

Hamlet Mendez: The place is very nice and clean and everyone is so welcoming and very attentive !! Not to mention the food being so great. Also shoutout to the management team they are excellent!

Max La: La pain quotidien should not be allowed to call their dry pastry a pain au Chocolat. I've had better frozen supermarket croissants at 1/8th the cost. Only plus is the building is beautifulFood: 2/5 …

Emma Rodriguez: . Ordered their breakfast sandwich and the salad on the side was delicious but unfortunately they forgot to add the bacon which we requested which was rather unfortunate.Service: Severely understaffed. Noon on a Sunday and they only had one server for the entire restaurant. Our server was clearly overwhelmed and though very nice and great, it was definitely difficult for her to wait on us properly as she had to wait on every single other table

Florian Colas: , the hot drinks too

kat corbman: My absolute favorite spot!!!! I go there every single morning for a hot honey lemon ginger drink, sometimes pastry and oatmeal every weekend . The service is exceptional. They are a very warm and friendly group of professionals that enjoy their jobs and treat their customers with kindness. Pierre is usually the representative that takes care of me and always knows what I want without having to say.but they are all great—- including the managers. p.s. their lentil soup is the best in the city!!Vegetarian options: I am a vegetarian and they have excellent options!!

jason chon: Great place for a quick brunch, the server JC is amazing. Shout out to the management team as well they are amazing always hustling! I have no complains whatsoever.

lucy97: I usually come to this location while I’m around the area either for dine in or to get a quick snack, I would disagree with almost all the negative reviews here, they are always very welcome and managers always very attentive, I don’t think I’ve never seen a manager not present. This is not a 5 starts restaurant since the food is very basic but the employees are always nice and the place is very clean, but I’m quite disappointed that I passed by yesterday and saw that they turned their bakery into a dining room. I’ve been looking forward for the baking classes but it looks like it’s not going to happen.

Ruohan Song: Le Pain needs to train their servers to not discriminate and treat their customers better. For example, I, a poc, went to order a pastry and a tea from them today. A white server made my tea, didn't tell me it was done, immediately went to serve the white customer behind me. As they were handing off the white customer's tea, I asked them where my drink was. They very quickly rolled their eyes and told me it's done and on the far end of the counter. I am confused as I never saw anyone else asked to pick up their drink from the other end of the counter, and the white customer behind me got their drink handed to them.I have been a regular for over a year. TBH most of their front servers are like this, very resentful to customers, extremely slow, often times don't know what they are doing. Their pastries are mostly good. But I don't like how they treated different customers differently. I would highly recommend avoiding this business, at least this location as much as possible.

India Kilgore: Alexandra is the best! So so helpful and very professional!

Hyunser Park: The place is really cool! But the seats are dining only except for the big table. I liked my coffee and pastry.

Lady J: Freezing AC. Manager 5 stars. Wait staff clueless. Cappuccino scalding. Frittata not hot nearly warm. They replaced. Found hair in food at end of meal. Not mine. Waitress said Oh really. Train your staff to know their products and focus on customer service. Mist likely will not return. Too cold.

Steve Tanes: Excellent neighborhood Belgian brasserie...grate service...organic...pricy

may gohtel: Bad serviceDisappointing
