Karaoke Duet 35: what do users think?

Burcu Gülez: The staff is friendly and clean space that is why I don’t give one star but if you are looking for a karaoke night this is not the place! One of the worst sound systems ever!!!

Carl: . It's relatively cheap, so it does the job for the price and the equipment is easy to use. It's not the most complex as you can't change the queue easily, but was definitely good fun. Service was pretty decent - they were good about getting us our soju and waters

Andy Lee: I was here with friends last week. The location is easily accessible and clean; the staff is okay. That's the only reason it does not get one star.Sure, it would be nice to deal with a jovial staff that makes you feel welcome. Not here. They are polite but not friendly. The song selection is terrible ; most predates the 2000's. There is the occasional semi current song from an artist like Britney Spears or Rihanna, but their operating system and it's search feature are also poorly executed. For a business that specifically does karaoke, Duet 35 provides a poor user experience. I would choose another location in the future.

5 Bar Karaoke Lounge NYC: what do users think?

Morad Hassan: Summary:This karaoke spot was unable to provide a room with working speakers for our birthday party with 16 people and charged us full price without seeking any ways to accommodate our experience, and went so far as to aggressively tell us to "deal with it or leave."Details:When we asked for help in fixing the speakers to our party room, the manager organized a quick try, but after it didn't work, he settled with a "deal with it" attitude. When we asked for possible accommodations to make up for the experience, he aggressively replied "you can leave." When I asked for time to let me discuss with the party, he said "sure," but not without sending his employees to already bring cleaning supplies to our room, letting us know we were not welcome. This is a horrible and offensive attitude, showing no empathy for the birthday girl who was very excited to celebrate in this location. I hope the manager realizes that he cannot treat his customers this way and that they should be proactively ensuring that all rooms are functional beforehand, especially when it's known in advance that such a large party would be there. We are never coming back.

Erin Sonoda: Deals deals deals

Aiesha Vegas: Amazing service. JACOB aka JK was amazing and made the experience good. Will come back with more folks.

Daniel Dawidczyk: This place sucks. Point blank. They gave me a bad and irritated attitude when i called 1 hour before my reservation to tell them my party became smaller due to people not being able to make it and theres was a real lack in customer service. Then they told me i have to leave 5 minutes prior the end of my reservation because they scheduled another party on top of ours. I have been to beyter karaoke bars in the city with better hospitality. Go anywhere else except here.

Terrel Sykes: I had a very disappointing experience at 5 Bar Karaoke. I reserved a room for 10 people, but at the end of the night, we were told that there was no room available for 10 people, and that we would have to pay for an extra 2 people. When we got into the room, the song selector remote wasn't working. We waited 15 minutes for someone to come fix it, but no one came. We ended up having to download an app to select songs. The drinks were weak and the room was dirty. There was a long hair on the microphone stand and the tables were sticky. To top it all off, they tried to charge us for the 15 minutes we couldn't sing because the song selector remote wasn't working.I would not recommend 5 Bar Karaoke to anyone. Here are some specific details about my experience:The song selector remote wasn't working. We waited 15 minutes for someone to come fix it, but no one came. We ended up having to download an app to select songs. The drinks were weak. I ordered a pomegrate drink and it was barely alcoholic. The room was dirty. There was a long hair on the microphone and the tables and floors were sticky. They tried to charge us for the 15 minutes we couldn't sing because the song selector remote wasn't working.

Khoa Nguyen: STEER CLEAR FROM THIS PLACE.by far the worst karaoke experience we had. the server/overall staff was rude, wasn’t at tentative at all, came to our room maybe twice?, and was downright condescending to our group.if we weren’t charged automatically for a 18% gratuity it would’ve been 0%.this review is posted just as a warning for anyone that plans on going to this karaoke spot. there are far better karaoke bars in KTOWN than this one.

Delaney O’Neill: I have never been to a place with ruder employees. We had such a good time doing karaoke and they completely ruined the experience. There are so many great karaoke bars in the city-- DO NOT go to this one.

Kerise: The system was difficult to use. Music was not diverse or updated. We were celebrating a marriage and academic accomplishments. Workers were not friendly at all. I won't return. If you're of a darker skin tone, I suggest you find somewhere else. Your money is welcomed, but YOU won't be.

Louis Martinez: I had a great time here and I'd come back again. Out group of 8 fit the room almost fully. Room was warm, mics worked well, drinks from the bar conveniently closeby. Bathroom was clean. Didn't order food but it was affordable split between our group for 12-2am. Respectable staff. Made reservation few hours before and got in smooth, it was busy Saturday night.

Shellita Orie: The drinks are too expensive.

Debbie DelValle: and bottle service. There was also a food menu to order from. During our first experience, we ordered a bottle of vodka and were provided with mixers to make cosmopolitans. We ordered the appetizer sampler that came with fries, shrimp, chicken nuggets. We reserved the room for 3 hours and extended it one additional hour because we were having so much fun. When the bill arrived, the total came to a little over $367 and we were told if we paid cash we could pay $360 even. It was such a great experience we were looking forward to returning once they reopened after COVID.Post pandemic the experience was completely different. We came on the Wednesday after Christmas as we were all on break from work. The karaoke room rate remained the same. However, we were the only ones there so there was only one gentleman working the bar and no one present to attend the kitchen so the kitchen was closed. We were unable to order any food. First disappointment. The second disappointment was that there was no more beer included with the room and no bottle service. Instead they now offer open bar for $22 per person/per hour, or premium open bar for $29 per person/per hour. We opted for the $22per person/ per hour option. We again reserved the karaoke room for 3 hours but stood longer because we decided to order food through Grubhub since we were starving after a few hours. We ordered food and even ordered food for the gentleman attending our group since we felt sorry that he was there working alone. We ended the night 6 hours later. I also have to comment that some of the song lyrics were incorrect and the tune was different than expected on a numbers of songs. We had a great time, but the open bar was an absolute purse drainer. The third and final disappointment………………..the bill was $1089 compared to the $367 we paid the first time which included food. We were not offered any deals like last time.Overall we enjoyed ourselves since we were in each others company. Being friends for over 25 years, we bring the fun to wherever we go. We were looking forward recreating the memorable experience we had pre pandemic and end the year together. Unfortunately, this experience was a complete 180 compared to the first time. Don’t think we will be coming back.

Andrew Konovalenko: Fun but coat adds up quick

April FAcey: . The ENTIRE staff was RUDE, PUSHY, and it was extremely unpleasant. They constantly came into the room counting down the minutes and bothered us about drinks

Grant: Not the best karaoke place in K-Town... They claim to be part of Karaoke City, but Karaoke City is much better!

Karaoke DUET 48: what do users think?

Mahsa Zolfkhani: Atmosphere: 5/5

Sara Pereira: Fun!

Mia Fonseca: went and ordered a drink and came back with it with no problem. I tried his drink and enjoyed it and figured I’d go order my own. Upon arriving to the bar, with my friend btw, we noticed that the staff were speaking amongst each other about me. Of course, we didn’t assume anything as they

José Antonio Herrera: Weekends have lower rates, I recommend the 12-8pm, up to 4 ppl for $70. Drinks/food not included but a bargain anyhow. Have fun singing!!!Ok bye

Takiema Bellamy: I love coming here after work.

Raffi Garabedian: We went after work with a few of my colleagues and we had some fun.It wasn't very easy for me to use the system but their experience helped me

MeesterJuantastik: Good service and friendly staff, prices also good for modern day NYC. This place is definitely a NYC staple. Their karaoke machine isn't as good as the old ones though, seems hard to find songs. Maybe I was a bit drunk but I'm sure others will share my thoughts about the iPad interface .

Steph W: Easy online booking and they were super nice in allowing me to change the time of my booking time 1 hour before my reservation. When arriving, you must show your ID at the front with the bouncer. The room itself was clean and spacious. The song picking is done via an iPad. Physical song books are available upon request. The drinks are super affordable ranging from $8-10!! You place an order using the room's walled phone. Service was quick and attentive. the final bill had no surprises and the cashier was kind enough to point out that gratuity was already included! Wonderful experience and plan on coming again!!

Alex Sher: The karaoke system at Karaoke DUET 48 is state-of-the-art, with a huge selection of songs in multiple languages. The staff is friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service and ensuring that your experience is top-notch.The atmosphere in the karaoke rooms is lively and fun, with plenty of room to dance and sing your heart out. The sound system is top-notch, ensuring that your singing sounds great no matter your skill level. Additionally, the bar offers a great selection of cocktails and drinks, as well as some tasty snacks to fuel your karaoke session.Overall, Karaoke DUET 48 is a must-visit for anyone looking for a fun and memorable karaoke experience. The private rooms, exceptional karaoke system, and great atmosphere make it one of the best karaoke bars in the area. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a fun night out with friends, Karaoke DUET 48 is the perfect destination.

Didia Domtemi: It was a great experience with my friends, we enjoyed the time but we wanted an extra hour and we didn't get it ;(.Service is friendly, nice, and affordable prices.Clean restrooms, big rooms for 15 people, or max 20.

silk Gibson: It's always a good vibe for couple or family setting... sing your life away in your own room and enjoy feeling like a pop star all in ine... the food not so good and iver priced and the options and choices on the menu is limited compared to other karaoke spots i been too but overall. It's a family oriented and friendly vibe. Been here 8 times and planning to go again and again

Michael S: So much fun! Highly recommend. Yummy karage chicken too.

Steven McCarty: It was a bit of a process to get a time booked that would work for our schedule and we had to know how long we wanted to reserve up front, but once we started it was a blast. There are so many songs to choose from. Everything is controlled from an iPad and it even allows you to skip songs if they don't work out. Had a great time with my family here.

Simon Fernandez Jr.: Cool spot for Karaoke

Henry ryrneh: The small room was pretty hot

SING SING St.Marks Karaoke: what do users think?

Wilson Chung: Very limited song selection compared to other karaoke places in the city. The biggest problem is - THERE IS NO SONG LIST, not even a digital one. Your only option is to go on the website and search for songs one by one. The result is a whole group of people just sitting absentmindedly thinking of what songs they know, or scrolling through their playlists on their phone looking for something to search, completely disengaged from each other. The whole point is that this is supposed to be a social activity! On top of all that, technical issues abound. Constant feedback from mics, lyrics lighting up completely out of time with the actual music. If they can fix these issues, it can easily be a 5 star business. As it is now, I don't recommend it at all.

Esthefany Vidal: First time going to a Karaoke bar, and it was fun! You get a private room, or you can sing by the bar if you want. For the private room, you get two microphones, and it is 10 dollars after 8 pm for the room. The iPad has a lot of music types. The bathroom is at the end of the hallway where the private room is.

Edward Eden: Staff was extremely disrespectful. Came there on mothers day with a group of 6. One member was under 21 and her mother was the person we were celebrating. We didn't have her ID with us but upon asking if it mattered if we're were all not drinking alcohol he mocked our question and said he didn't care. He seemed intoxicated himself and mumbled most of time. It was unfortunate considering we had a wonderful time there 5 years back to celebrate a 16th birthday of one of the other members with us today. We don't mind that we couldn't sing karaoke, it's the rudeness that through it all off. Good luck

Kate Lytchakov: Purrrrrrr

Adam G: very rude and ungrateful… could have bought more drinks but we changed the bar

Kristlyn Abreu: Had a great time with my friend in the bar area. To sing publicly you do have to pay $5 cash only which is so much to sing just 1 song 😅 but oh well. Still had fun tho.

Aiden Neeper: A whole article says 18+ online and they said 21+ at the door and turned us away. Terrible people terrible business

Jennifer Tomany: One of the best karaoke bars in the city if you're looking for something casual. Used to come here often with coworkers post-happy hour and we always had a fun time. Can easily grab a room or hang out at the bar outside. Not as flashy as K-town but we always have a great time and good service here

West4-Karaoke Boho: what do users think?

Brice Foster: Yesterday I had arrived to the venue at my usual time around 5:30pm and the employee there asked rather rudely "What do you want?". When I told him I was there for karaoke, he said that they open at 7pm. Despite my coming to the venue at that same time for a while and Google saying the site was Open at 4pm. I love the place but that employee in question was just unpleasant.*Edit:The employee in question was a short Middle Eastern gent by the name of Tom.*

Rishab Jain: Loved being able to reserve a room, and staff were kind enough of let us in even though our group was running a little late. Great song selection

Bernadene: The karaoke rooms are $10 per head but they also charged us $8 gratuity plus tax. The vibes are good otherwise.

Tharindu Weerasooriya: The karaoke rooms are OK. But the place lacks lot of transparency. FYI, $10 per hour per person for a room. 3 people minimum and there is a minimum 20% tip automatically added to the room bookings.

Arnav Gupta: Outdated equipment and speakers. Can update song selecrion as well. But we still had a fun Time

Serrone Newyork: Jerry the bartender is the best

Daniel Reade: Kind of a disorganized situation, as far as karoake bars and private room bars go

Your Nan: The bouncer is absolutely great, sweet guy. Private rooms are 10 an hour per person, minimum is 3 people. Buy a drink to queue up a song in open-kareoke.

Martin Putallaz: Fun spot for karaoke, open till late so great option.

Karaoke Cave: what do users think?

Farrah Berthaud: No fuss..Great staff and good drinks! What more can you ask for! YAY for Karaoke Cave!

Uriah Drake: The happy hour deals are amazing, and by that I mean cheaper than you'll find anywhere. There's a solid mix of bar and private karaoke and a great crowd.

Evan Fein: Rashid and Buku are awesome! But all the staff here are really nice and attentive. It’s a great little find close to union square with karaoke and food. I think it’s an excellent after work or weekend hangout spot to bring friends, a date, or just to sing solo.

Hunter Fleming: . When in doubt always go for 2 hours instead of 1.

Shaunda C Turner: Nice place, had a good time celebrating my birthday. Will return again

Yolainne Mary Derenthal (Yolahontas): Literally the vibes and nice staff save this bar's rating. I'm not a fan that you have pay for a drink everytime you wanna sing. Additionally, the karaoke list could managed much better. There's no awareness for an even distribution of karaoke singers. I submitted 2 tix for song and found that several singers went at least 5 tines prior to myself

Biny Karaoke Bar & Lounge: what do users think?

Rob Daurio: Simply great! Private karaoke rooms, reasonably priced, nice staff and the main room is never too crowded!

alexandria anderson: The vibes are good, the drinks are a little expensive, and the system that plays the karaoke picks never works properly. Even if you were up next to find some times it'll just put you at the bottom of the list or skip you entirely.

Peter Ward: The worst. I had a party of 13 people for my partner’s birthday but found out the day before that they were closed for renovations. Not a phone call or any kind of notice. Ruined the party plans and the night. Horrendous.

TT Smith: good. very high

Shawn Snyder: You can't go wrong here. The technical systems are a mess, but the staff is friendly and everyone seems happy they discovered it. Like your own secret place to sing.

Amir Durrani: No frills Karaoke bar. Come here to either sing your heart out infront of everyone or get yourself a room for more privacy. Everyone here is kind and it's always a fun time.

Lauren Freeman: Fun little place

Most Valid Opinion MVO Uncensored Podcast: If you want to know the best karaoke bar in NYC, this is your spot! The bartender, Fernando is the best in the business. They do not charge for songs. All you have to do is drink. Sounds like a good deal to me! Catch me belting out my favorite tunes if you’re in town.Busiest nights are Fridays and Saturdays. If you’re shy, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are pretty low key. Thursdays are great and Sundays you get a mix. They also have rooms available if you’re not the type to sing in front of people.

Kelvin W: Went there on Sunday night. There were not too many people there and we were able to sing as many songs as we want. They don't charge to sing in the main room, which is always a plus. Amazing karaoke bar, we had so much fun.
