Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown: what do users think?

Diana Fernandez-Shapiro: I try to stay at Four Seasons whenever because truly their beds and linens feel the best for me to sleep in. This hotel is pleasing to the eye, modern and chic not so busy looking with a neutral palette of creams, coffee and taupes, greyish beige tones and ambient lighting. Been to multiple properties around the world. There definitely is a difference in service and attention from one to the other. Not sure this is more a business hotel where details and extra attention is not needed as much. Everyone is very polite from valet to check in also seamless. The spa is nice and well appointed. Unfortunately if you are spa frequenter avoid the pool area from 8am to 5pm. The FS residents use the pool with children and it's noisy and echos so you can't relax there. I walked in heard the noise walked right back out. The lifegaurd looked like he couldn't take it either anymore I'm quite positive he won't be having children either. They should have designated times for spa pool hours. The front desk staff and managers are very nice when speaking to them. Franklin in valet very attentive and Fiona the manager very responsive also as well as others. When we arrived I was starving and the girl at the front desk walked us to Cut to ensure we would be seated since they cut their dinner at 9:30pm and we arrived at that time. So thank you for that. We enjoyed our dinner and service at Cut definitely order the salad with apple so delicious and filet then for desert the soufflé was made in 8 minutes and was delicious definitely large portion is good for sharing. My daughter ordered the cookies which were also delicious. The service was nice for dinner as well as breakfast was yummy. I wish FS was on the LC Barclay card but they are not but I still used Fine Resorts benefits from another vendor. Definitely would stay here again and have stayed here 4 times so far in the past 3 years. The rooms have automatic shades button press and black out drapes. The beds are incredibly comfy so for me that's 5 stars when the linens are pressed and everything is soft, exceptionally white clean that looks and smells new. FS around the globe does exceptional with their quality of linens, and bedding. The bathrooms are nicely appointed with a separate shower and soaking tub with nice high end fixtures. Some rooms are larger than others and the bathrooms as well. There are different rooms and bathrooms, some have standard toilets and others have the Japanese automatic toilets. Never received a knock on the door for turn down service, chocolates or water for the room like in the other FS properties. Elevator works efficiently and fast which is excellent for NY standard. Gym is open 24 hours and that's great. I don't remember being told about a house car and would have been nice to use that if available like other 5 stars FS, Regis, Mandarin, Rosewoods etc.. Area is nice around hotel.Rooms: Very comfy bed and linens

Videogame Player: . I got food poison/upset stomach from the food there. i couldnt sleep for hours and i left close to midnight checking out. i went to front desk to check out and they refused to give me a refund for the night i paid for. BE CAREFUL WITH HOTELS THAT HAVE PARTNERSHIPS WITH RESTAURANTS. THEY WILL NOT REFUND U MONEY IF U GET SICK FROM THEIR FOOD. ITS A SHADY PARTNERSHIP THATS LIKE ''OH WE ENDORSE THE RESTAURANT TO GUESTS, BUT IF U GET SICK FROM THE FOOD, BLAME THEM AND NOT US''. Stay away from Four seasons hotels and other buisnesses that do these type of practices.

Majed Khalid: which has the only bar in the hotel. So expect to have your breakfast at a Steakhouse.

Krzysztof Nowakowski: Just class!Hotel highlights Quiet …

Bianca S: What a lovely hotel! It is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at. I am in love with the soaking tub and the Nespresso bar found in the room. This is just a lovely and very modern hotel. The pool is also beautiful as well as the views of NYC.Food & drinks: Lots of food areas around here. Especially in Westfield.

Julie Linzon: Nestled in the heart of Lower Manhattan, this luxury hotel effortlessly combines sophistication, comfort, and impeccable service. Spacious and thoughtfully designed, the rooms offer panoramic views of the city skyline. Whether you're a business traveler or a leisure seeker, this luxurious urban oasis is the perfect choice for your stay in New York City.

Winfred Mitchell: The staff!!! Simply stated, the best reason to visit is the staff! All starting with Doormen!!! Extremely professional, polite, courteous and friendly!!! Kudos to the staff!I went for drinks and bar bites to meet friends. As expected, the costs of food and drinks was abnormal. The food portions were tapas-like. The food was very good! Overall it was as expected for a Four Seasons Hotel.

Stewart Yinhauw: A great hotel in the middle of Lower Manhattan New York.Whats is good about the hotel.- Great Four Seasons service as always- Free bike rent - Explore New York with your Four Seasons bike. Its totally worth the ride.- Close to Subway and WTC interchange.- Close to 9/11 Memorials

Ace Hotel New York: what do users think?

Melissa Melo: Amazing customer service by the whole staff, but a special thank you to Jesus who went above and beyond to make sure we were happy!Service: 5/5 …

Veronica Van Gogh: the exceptional go the extra mile hospitality 2

Wesley McDonald: Beware walking into the bar while it is bright outside. Darkest public room I have ever been into. Once my eyes adjusted though it was a good spot. Would return.

marina pelosini: of a beautiful residential building but above all of the Empire State Building. Obviously equipped with hot and cold A/C. The hotel does not directly provide the breakfast service but by accessing from an internal door there are only two rooms, one for having an "Italian" breakfast: croissant

Kyoto Luchi: 10/10 no se tiene el nombre de Portgas D. Ace

itzamia: Like a lot of hotels, this hotel will hold a deposit. I booked online, got a good price and knew I was going to pay an extra 40.00 for the room for whatever fee they charge everyone for whatever reason. What they don't tell you until you get there is they are going to hold 200.00 and you're not getting that back for almost a week. So now your stuck in New York City, you can't cancel your room or you'll lose that, and you're 200.00 short from what you planned on using that for while you were there. These surprise holds is unethical and needs to be upfront before the room is purchased. If i didn't have that, I'd be sleeping at the train station while my 300.00 room I can't use stays vacant.

Park Central Hotel New York: what do users think?

Ale: Spectacular hotel.Very spacious rooms and bathroom.Very good service and attention from the stafflocation of 10I don't give it 5 stars, because it's a pity that there is only one working elevator. We stayed for a week and during the 7 days, we did not see the second elevator work on any day.It was horrible every time we had to go up or down.In the elevator we saw that there were more than 25 floors. It must be horrible, that it touches you on the 25th floor. Since the wait has to be desperate. When we booked this hotel more than 3 months ago, I read many comments of this type, but I thought it was something specific, I have already realized that it is not like that.A pity, because this hotel would be 5 stars.

Fred Martinez: Best bang for your buck... Park Central Hotel is one of the more budget friendly hotels that's within walking distance from Times Square .Great service, very clean and poppin!Noteworthy details: Within walking distance from Times Square

Elaine Assirati: Adorei a estada no fabuloso PARK Central Hotel. A localização do hotel é top. Mais do que recomendo. Elaine Assirati from Brasil, São Paulo.

Ashley Lalla: The room was not cleaned properly when we arrived, there was dirty shoe marks and hair on the ground and bath tub, clearly the room had not been cleaned properly. The carpet in the room also felt wet. We were also given a room which faced a brick wall. This was never mentioned upon booking. Maybe if the hotel company were at least transparent and said the view is obstructed but no mention of this at all. The picture of the hotel is VERY misleading. I assumed it would have had a view as depicted otherwise I would have paid even more money for something other than a brick wall. But at minimum at least say the view is obstructed. This was utterly ridiculous. I was bringing my family to NYC to show them around and wanted them to be able to see NYC's hustle and bustle. The toilet barley worked. I had to hold it down or flush continuously for anything to happen. My husband called in and advised them of the problem to which they said they would take care of it and no one ever came by to fix it. The staff was okay, not super friendly but not rude. The worst experience had to be the elevator. Most times only 1 elevator worked which caused a huge back log of people. There was a massive line to get on the elevator and of course people want to pack the elevators full of people opposed to waiting another 30 minutes for the next round which didn't seem safe. Some nights the line was out towards the lobby. Waiting for the elevator on my floor sometimes took 30 plus minutes. No basics such as a mini fridge or coffee pot.

Eduardo: Park Central Hotel is excellent; the staff was friendly and professional, clean and quiet. The location was perfect, with everything within reach. However, I would not stay there again as the elevator situation is a nightmare; we were on the 10th floor and gave up using it to go down and had to wait some times 20 minutes to be able to go up. It is hard to comprehend why an expensive place like this would not, at the very least, have staff during high-traffic hours to manage the elevators.

Equinox Hotel New York: what do users think?

henry mendez delgado: I have been to many hotels and I have never seen one as messy as this one, it was a disappointment because I thought it was a super experience but it ended up being a disappointment, the pool looked like NYC public pool you pay so much money for exclusivity and it was a mess. From the beginning, the room we reserved wanted to give us a totally different one, all very disorganized. The super small cover we didn't even fit in it.I would not go again nor would I recommend it. What a pity 👎🏻

Le El: Unfortunately, my experience with this self-proclaimed 5-star hotel was extremely disappointing. Due to unexpected personal circumstances, I couldn't fulfill my booked week-long stay, but to my astonishment, they categorically refused to consider any form of refund. In stark contrast to other hotels in my travel plan, which showed understanding and provided full reimbursements, this hotel displayed no trace of empathy. Their rigid and insensitive attitude severely shattered my trust in their high reputation, and in the future, I will definitely book my stay elsewhere, where customer service and empathy are held in high regard.

Eduardo jorge: Very nice infrastructure, but the service to guests leaves much to be desired. We do not have priority in the use of any of the facilities of what is supposed to be a 5-STAR HOTEL, compared to those who only come to use the Gym. A concept that leaves much to be desired since the facilities and rooms are very well done. The attention of the staff to the guest, except those of attention in reception, is quite deficient and unfriendly for those who want to feel pampered and pleased. I regret this because I would have wanted to live another different experience and of real quality and warmth

Melanie Webb: I went to the hotel for a Convention that I was attending and the location was great. The rooms were okay. If you don't have a room by the elevator be prepared to walk far to get to your room. Also, the restaurant was absolutely ridiculous for the price of food $23 for a lunchmeat turkey club sandwich and maybe a handful was fries. No thanks

Jonas Oldendorf: aber gut gelegen und echt beeindruckend.

Cheri Scott: Stayed with a couple of friends to ring in my 70th birthday. Best room and hotel ever, and I have traveled a lot. The staff was excellent and friendly. Room was A+ I will most definitely be back. Loved the location. We had a late check-out so left the cleaning lady a well deserved tip. Thank you for making my b-day memories even better. God bless you all.Nearby activities: Looking out the window and seeing Time's Square right there and the billboards. Great breakfast place was Starlight all waitstaff are up and coming Broadway stars 🤩 loved it being song to while eating.Safety: Felt totally safe.Walkability: Everything we had planned was walking distance or a Uber or short subway ride. Best of the best location.

Francisco Diaz: Best location - I attended years ago at Jacob Javitz and this was far better location!Walkability: Close to port authority and so many shows and other attractions

Martina: The hotel was great! The place was new and clean and the service was fast. The location was ideal as it was right next to Times Square! Would go again!Walkability: Everything was close by!

A améliorer.Pour le reste, c'est vraiment bien.

The St. Regis New York: what do users think?

Justin Baynham: The St. Regis is an old hotel with compact basic room layouts, which is expected based on its age. Expect clean, small rooms with above-average furnishings. What would be anticipated in a hotel like the St. Regis is excellent service, which in my opinion was surprisingly lacking. While one might expect a generally reduced level of hospitality in New York, I was surprised by several incidents. Upon checking in late with two small, sleeping children and telling the front desk person that we were taking them up and putting them in bed immediately, the same front desk person called our room no less than 2 times. This call was to inform me that room service was, in fact, closed after she assured me that "Room service here never closes!" She told me I could order take-out at the restaurant instead. After several minutes searching, I couldn't find a greeter at the restaurant, but eventually was able to order from a helpful waiter. Compounding the interruptions, the restaurant subsequently called my room after I had told them that my kids were sleeping. The following morning we went to breakfast and again could not find a greeter to seat us. We had to go ask the front desk if the restaurant was open before they were able to wrangle someone from a back room. Mid-morning, which should be a relatively slow time for kitchens, we attempted to order room service again but were told a delivery time could not be confirmed, but it would be at least an hour. I am sure the hotel would cite staffing shortages for the deficiencies. In summary, my opinion is good location; clean, small rooms; but, below average service for a hotel of its purported class.

Cristina Urrutia: Hotels are all about service and that’s why I’m giving The St Regis a one star rating. Appallingly bad service all around. Badly trained staff. AC in my room was broken, took 5 hours for engineering department to show up. Front desk kept telling me they were on their way, when they clearly were not . They have a butler service button , which is just a marketing gimmick as no one really answers. Breakfast was very mediocre, took 20 minutes to get a table and service was slow, unprofessional and borderline rude . This hotel is badly managed. When problems were brought to staffs attention , no one seemed competent enough to do anything about it . So many hotel options in NY , don’t waste your money by staying here

anwar chawki: Great hotel on the beachRooms: very wonderfulNearby activities: BeautifulSafety: amazingWalkability: excellentFood & drinks: Very cool thingNoteworthy details: Visit this place

Farouk Amad: Excellent staff. Intelligent and gracious

Vivian Chen: My bf took me here for our 1 year anniversary. The hotel is old school but it was terrific. It had a historical feeling and we had a terrific time!

A. M.: Dated elegance. Staff with dignity. Luxurious.

Phil Landsberg: I was only at the location for an event, but the ballroom is beautifulLocation: 5/5 …

Alexander Barr: For how old & grand the St Regis is, I was a little disappointed with the interior design of my room. I was hoping for more antique / eclectic furniture, not stuff from Target

Martin P: Food at the top floor event venue is great

The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park: what do users think?

Leah Hon: Amazing staff, location and atmosphere. The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable. The only thing is if you book through a travel agency don't expect a requested room with a view. Call the hotel directly. We asked for a room with a parade route view. We didn't get it. But that wasnt to hotels fault. You can watch the parade at the club level but you have to pay an extra $600 dollars for 2 people.Rooms: Rooms are clean, beautiful and the bed is very comfortable. Also the rooms are so quiet.Safety: We felt very safe in and around the hotel. Al was the most amazing Ritz staff member. He made our trip even more amazing. Loved him!!Walkability: Central Park is right across the street and time Square is only a 20 minute walk from the hotel.Food & drinks: Delicious breakfast and coffee. 24 hour room service too!!

Denise Gallion: Location was great. Door staff was excellent. I thought the couch in the room was very uncomfortable. Everything was clean and in good condition.Nearby activities: Right across the street from central Park. We walked to times square, Broadway, Rockefeller plaza, st. Patrick's cathedral. It was a great location.

Sophia S: Nice hotel, nice room and friendly doorman and concierge. The lounge experience was quite bad.

MarthaCameron: Excellent everything.the room was great, and well kept.the guys at the door was pleasant a beautiful hotel

Paul E.: EXCEPTIONAL! The team at the ritz central park gives a level of service and positive attitude that leaves you in shock. My girlfriend and I were celebrating our four year anniversary, and we made a note that we were both vegan. The General Manager Douglas, the chef Andrew and the pastry chef Anthony went out of their way to make things special. The actually went out special to find tofu and vegan meats to make us a hot tofu scramble and delicious vegan bacon and sausage. Andrew’s preparation and presentation was impeccable. And, this morning, the pastry chef Anthony brought us our homemade vegan biscotti, along with extra for our flight home. Amazing! Besides the food, it was just the “over the top” service. For example, I asked Daniel the concierge if they had an “Edge” shaving gel, because I forgot mine, most hotel shaving creams cut my face. He said he would take care of it. To my complete surprise, I went outside to enjoy the the sunshine, and saw Daniel hustling up 6th ave with my gel. Amazing, unprecedented service. The front desk staff, the restaurant managers, and all of the concierges were amazing. We will absolutely stay there again, and highly recommend it to all!

1 Hotel Central Park: what do users think?

Joanna Brown: Don't know about the hotel but the restaurant was excellent. Best steak in new york. Also lovely locally sourced fish.Hotel highlights Great value …

Hans-Peter Ketterl: Great very nice hotel.Concept implemented very sustainably and consistently.Unfortunately very high price level.

Kyle Lewis: Rooms: super comfyNearby activities: plenty of restaurants and shoppingFood & drinks: The bar is super slow.

Breanna Viljoen: This hotel was very clean and had great service! The rooms were just like the photos and offered close proximity to Central Park, 5th ave shopping and walking distance to time square. The shower was great and the beds were firm. They had fresh apples for you to grab anytime and umbrellas for use in the lobby.I cannot say enough how pleasant our stay was here.

Liz Nica: Service was impeccable! We were greeted by a very friendly front desk representative from Miami and his manager Marlon. They could not accommodate a room with a view as they were all taken but provided an alternate beyond our expectations as well as a bottle of prosecco! Having stayed at 5 star hotels, this was the type of service lacking in other hotels. The staff here are either well experienced or well trained to provide 5 star service. Even the housekeeper Rose who saw me in the hallway let me know she was there to help me in any way.rooms were very clean with high quality amenities to make you feel at home. I slept very well for being away from home. The hotel is walking distance to theater, Central Park, great restaurants, and shopping so location is fantastic. I will definitely be back!

Louis: Great time , clean fresh great service. Beautiful view overlooking Central park.Rooms: Rustic yet tastefullyNearby activities: Central park

Kaan İnan: Burada 8 gece konakladım. Organik bir otel . Suları musluklardan içmeniz özellikle tavsiye ediliyor . Ben çok beğendim . Temizlik çok iyi . Yeri central parkın karşısı .

Archer Hotel New York: what do users think?

Cristine Peters: Me and my boyfriend we stayed 4 days in NYC and we booked in advanced our stay with you. It was my fist time visiting this awesome city and we celebrate also my birthday. We arrived at the hotel before 11 am and we were very warm welcomed by Derrick and another lady at the desk. They were very nice and helpful with a very good humor. The room we booked was a king bed I think the standard one. I expected a little bit nicer view, but it was cleaned and it looked very good maintained. We meet every day Derrick and he was taking care of us, he was making sure everything is ok and we enjoy our stay. Big surprise was, that we received a bottle of rose wine to our room and we wanted to say thank you Derrick and thank you to all the team members. I also enjoy the sweet treats we got it every day. The rooftop bar is also very nice, we enjoy it. Just it was little disappointed that it closed so early. We also did one day happy hour at your lobby bar and we liked it too. We had today very early flight back home, so we asked for a wake up call and just to be sure someone come also to our door to ensure we are awake. Thank you for all this exceptional service.

Michelle Wasserman: We arrived before check-in time, left our luggage and returned at 3pm to check in. Our room was not ready at 3pm and one didn’t become available until 3:20pm which was unacceptable after a long day of travel. The room itself was small but nice, with a fantastic view of the Empire State Building. Cleanliness was so-so with a hair in the shower.

S M: to cover anywhere from Broadway, 5th onwards.Food & drinks: Food been fab each and every time we've eaten there.

Vincent Anthony: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the hotel with the fastest elevator service in the city. Over 5 days including the July 4th weekend, the longest wait was 10 seconds with most waits being ~3 seconds. The rooms were superb and the bathroom was of great size. Room service accommodated every morning sleep-in and performed service in the afternoons while out exploring the city. You honestly can't beat the location either, with close proximity to Times Square and all subways trains. Overall a must stay and I can totally see why this hotel was rated as one of NYC's best hotels a while back.

Justina Wenger: Specifically chose this hotel because it said it had valet parking. It did not. As a disabled woman this was very upsetting. I would have stayed elsewhere that would have been more convenient to me and my needs. It have to pay ridiculous prices for a garage off the property was ridiculous. Don’t recommend. Also the beds were very uncomfortable none of my party slept through the night.

Mallory Rossen: I picked this hotel based on the location and proximity of everything we wanted to see in the city. Easy walking distance to subways, food options, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, and Central Park. The check in process was seamless and our room was clean and we appreciated the AC fan we could keep on all night for white noise. Beds were very comfortable although we didn’t have a fitted sheet on the bed. Only a normal sheet that would sometimes pull up and the mattress would show. But the room and bathroom had the space we needed for a 3 day trip.We visited the rooftop bar on a Saturday night and were able to get seats right away. Service was a bit slow to have a waiter take our order and then to receive the check. Our last day we were able to check out and leave our luggage with bell service who also handled ordering a taxi waiting for us upon leaving for the airport. Would highly recommend and stay again!

Siobhan Quinn: Excellent location. In Midtown, close to subway and restaurants. Easy walking distance to many attractions. Friendly and helpful staff and very comfy beds. Only small issue that undersheet on king size bed was too small and could not be tucked in so bedding tended to wrinkle up. Very clean.Rooftop bar was super. Great view. Reasonable, tasty food.
