Gabrielle Sheridan: One of my favourite places to go! The drinks are not badly priced. There is outdoor sitting, however, if you buy a drink from inside you can’t sit in the outdoor sitting area and and if you order drinks from the outdoor sitting area you can’t take them inside till you close out your tab. The inside bar and the outside sitting area are two different tabs. The people that work here are wonderful as always. There’s always something going on, especially during pride month. A welcoming atmosphere for sure.
W M: Bartender sucks. AND $12 for a can of beer.
Logan Howell: The Stonewall was a must visit for my recent trip to NYC and it lived up to my expectations! We went on a Friday night for the RuPaul watch party and drag show, and again on Monday night for drag bingo! The shows were phenomenal and the vibe was perfect. We felt welcome immediately and the drinks were affordable and very good! Overall it was a great experience in and iconic location that our group of 4 very much enjoyed!
Alfonso Entrena Henríquez: Todo un símbolo en la lucha del colectivo LGTBIQ+.Aquí se produjeron los disturbios en 1969 por la liberación del colectivo LGTBI.
Sydney Howell: I lost my PASSPORT and wallet and the bartender Miles was so so so sweet and working so hard all night and found it for me at the end of the night. Not everyone in New York cares like that. I’m so grateful, give miles a 500$ bonus pls
James: , had jumped from $10 on the bottom bar to $20 when I ordered on the upstairs bar. I did question this at the time but was told that the staff member who survived me upstairs most likely misheard me when taking my order 🤷♂️
Vanessa Ward: I can’t believe it took me over two years to get down here! I work too much. If you work too much too, and want a fun place to chill during what little downtime you have come down to Stonewall. The drinks and service are excellent and so is Kristy if you’re lucky enough to be here when she is. Best bartender ever! I think she just made me a regular 🙌💜

Andrea witman: Love this place. Cool atmosphere with everyone friendly engaging and having a good time.
zoe k: Was vacationing in New York and my partner and i decided to visit here thinking it’d be fun. The girl at the front checking ID’s was rude to us but we said whatever and went in anyways. The cover charge is 13$ per person!! We spent over $70 that night. Drinks were insanely expensive and watered down af, had two mixed drinks each and felt nothing. Music sucked it was a bunch of repetitive EDM that was hard to dance to after one or two songs. It was wayyyy too packed in there and it was hard to dance even if you wanted to. People are jumping around dancing and it’s hard to get off the dance floor if you want to. Website is super misleading as you’re expecting a historic lgbt bar but it’s really just an overpriced night club. Wont be returning when we come back to nyc
Betsy Rodriguez: I HAVEN'T BEEN THERE IN SO LONG AND WENT IN ON SATURDAY, THE BARTENDER IN THE BACK WAS REALLY NICE, NOTICE THAT I WAS A PERSON, BUT THE MUSIC WAS OLD AND BAD, LIKE SHE DID NOT KNOW HOW TO MIX LIKE A DJ SHOULD COMBINE SONG, BUT IT CUTS OFF AND THEN I HAD TO FIGURE OUT, HOW TO DANCE TO A DIFFERENT SONG, AND A CORONA BEER IS SMALL CAN THAT DOES NOT EVEN GIVE YOU A BUZZ BECAUSE IS TWO SIPS, AND COST OF SMALL BEER THEN A REGULAR BOTTLE CORONA WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE, WE ALL KNOW INFLATION IS UP BUT THIS REALLY SHOWS THAT IT HAS, AND I DID NOT SEE ANY FOOD BEING SERVED, DON'T GET IT BUT IT WOULD BE A LONG WHILE FOR ME TO RETURN....
Nicole PEREZ: Nice small bar , Years ago was Pool table and so forth, Now downsized, Karokaye singing going on , however to much singing in a small space with 2 much germs in the air. Mask should be wore while singing. Liquor pricey but not strong . Nice comfortable place to unwineNo food is served there just liquor
Emily Esteban: soShe made me go to the ticket person and ask if I was able the to go in & they said yes , but she was VERY RUDE & non apologetic about it
Fabienne: Wow! The bouncers and security were so nice and welcoming. Def worth the $20 cover. Drinks were decent. I really enjoyed the performance of the dancers 🔥 DJ was on their game tonight, too.
Aziza Longi: So fun! Went for the pride event and the music was amazing.Atmosphere: 5/5 …
Juliana Carvalho: I’ve been there a few times on a Saturday night and I haven’t been impressed. The drinks are watered down and expensive. My friend and I bought the same drink but for some reason she was charged more. The DJ is bad and boring plays a bunch of playlist songs from the 2000s. Last time I went my friend and I just decided to leave and go to Stonewall and the DJ a there was a thousand percent better.
Gogi Patar: . Very intolerant if you're not a lesbian. Disgusting staff
Jazzmyne Webster: Good vibes, good people, great employees. The only way they could improve it is by adding more seating areas and giving the closing Saturday DJ more playing time.

Chanku Wi: I was in this bar on the last day of pride month 2023. I love this bar no matter what. But tonight was different. The young person who was the waiter in the bar tonight was kind and attentive. I am disabled and he made sure I was ok and had my ginger ale drinks. So sweet. Also the entertainment was wonderful. I don’t know the red heads name from drag race but thank you for recognizing an ally. I’m here for it…❤️❤️
Kim Juszczak: The first gay bar I’d ever been to. I was 16 with a paper bracelet my friend’s cousin had passed back to me.That was 18 years ago, and I don’t say this to disparage the bar. It was literally the first time I was ever able to be myself. It might sound silly with the underwear parties or whatever, but I consider this place holy ground. My own personal stonewall.
Shawn Baxley: We go every Sunday for bingo. Ruby always takes great care of us. It’s why we come back!
Ziggurat Tesseract: IM SOBERWHEN I ASKED THE BARTENDER ABOUT MOCKTAILS AND/OR NEAR BEER, HE JUST KNODDED NO AND I GOT A FREE BOOK AND WALKED OUT THE DOOR
tal shachar: Had a super fun evening with friendly people
Michael J Williams: Service is atrocious, the drag show is terrible.
Andrew Green: I always have a good time when I go out to pieces! Good drag, great drinks from Christian the bartender! Everyone should come out to Pieces!
Robert Turner: bartender there is. There is no way you can’t have a good time when you come to 8 Christopher Street!

Yariel D. Brown (Coco III): The jury is still out on this one...
Joe Mug: , go to....die.
Josh: One of the most amazing spots if you are looking a romantic night!
Mark Bailey Capalbo: You are NOT a bar unless you have simple syrup and other accoutrement behind the bar. You're just another dive gay bar.If you require patrons to have proper attire...I expect your bar to be properly stocked. Also having some friendly bar staff wouldn't hurt
Halal Ahmed: Excellent bar
David Bonitatibus: Great place to relax and meet really nice people and to sit around the piano. and sing a few songs.
Byron Peterson: Aaron the bartender downstairs is perfect. Love the vibe downstairs. Music is different then upstairs..... More pop and R&B. No waiting for a drink. Just tip and drink. Great place for a date. 💖
Mike Dallas: .The staff is in uniform and very professional but also friendly and they make good drinks. The clientele is mostly well dressed mature gay men that might appear clique-ish at first but they’re mostly friendly and down to earth people. Lots of tourists too. It’s my favorite gay bar in NYC.
David Roberts: A miserable place, mismanaged for years. The death of Rick Unterberg and the retirement of Michael Ferreri removed any possible reason to go to this establishment. AVOID.
Glauber Teixeira: . It's disappointing that management chose one rude customer over their own talent and other loyal customers. Luckily there are many other piano bars in New York City.
David Gary Bauer: Great place with very friendly staff and customers.Older crowd, but casual and easy to chat with someone, and the back piano bar is always packed.Never had a bad time there.
Y C: I like this place, nice vibes and good people. Nice servers. However, I can say the same thing about the tall bearded bartender, who was not very friendly and made terrible drinks; he also used flashlight multiple times at us.
