Amanda Tietjen: I had brought my family here to show them what it’s like to have the true authentic fine dining experience. From the staff to the ambiance to of course the FOOD! Everything was amazing and we had zero complaints.The attention to detail that the chef puts in every dish is just remarkable, everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. It is definitely the perfect spot for couples and families to try. You won’t be disappointed !
Jeremy: It was a nice, cozy but elegant dinner at Papilles. You can see Chef Andrea working on his artistry in the kitchen, and Nicolas and Elena make you feel special. I recommend Papilles as a great anniversary spot.

toffy concepcion: This is a 2* Michelin restaurant owned by one of NY's most legendary chefs. It truly deserves its' status. It was a rainy day and we came early in case of traffic. They accomodated is in the lounge and I had a nice glass of port while I waited for our dinner reservation. Really comfortable chairs and very elegant in a classic building.We had spot prawns tartare which were exquisite with the uni. We also had smoked sable fish vichyssoise with ossetra caviar. The mild sourness of the soup balanced the strong flavor of the fish and the caviar was a highlight.We shared a very rich and intense foie gras that was pre-seared then flambéd table side. This was a highlight of our meal. The soft shell crab tempura had different sauces and accents that elevated the experience.Some of us had swordfish which was a work of art and others a strip loin that even if it was rare, didn't taste bloody and was really tender. I could imagine it was prepared sous vide before it was seared.Dessert was a work of art. We had 3 different plates and forgot the names of the dishes.To end a wonderful night we had chocolate sticks including one our server arranged as a hashtag truly #exquisite.

Paeder Varnam: I was sad to see that they have allowed online ordering to completely replace getting proper service in a nice restaurant.I understand why some restaurants have allowed QR code electronic ordering to linger on after covid...it's less work for them and saves paper. But at boucherie it has completely taken over proper service. I like my waiter to know about the menu and ask if I have questions, talk me through options etc. At boucherie they basically just dumped us at the table said "scan the app to order" and left us to it...Mcdonalds style service in my opinion. I had to physically flag him down to get some reluctant info on the menu.The food was pretty great overall, good quality cuts of meat, perfectly cooked. My only feedback would be that the steak was over salted.At the end I went to pay my bill, paid via the app, tipped etc. As I was leaving the pulled me to the side and said I hadn't paid, they gave me kind of an accusatory treatment...quite embarrassing to be honest. It turns out they had put our bottle water on a separate check and hadn't told us about it.I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. The atmosphere and the food are great but I probably won't be back.

Patricia Reid: I hesitated to write this but am furious. We had a reservation but when we showed up the man at the front said he couldn’t seat us and we basically could not have lunch. He mentioned something about the shortage in the kitchen but would not elaborate and all we could do was leave. Meanwhile food was coming out of the kitchen and people were being served. I have been in NYC since 1979 and have never experienced this level of rudeness and lack of empathy. Do not go here. This behavior was simply unacceptable and outrageous

Meecham Meriweather: — arrived around 4:15pm, and was told the menu was limited, so I was more than happy to grab a glass of wine and pommes frites, and wait until 5pm when the menu switched over to dinner. The waiter was extremely discourteous, and simply never came back to check anything or ask if I wanted another glass of wine.Watched him leave at 5:03pm when another very nice waiter walked up. Disappointed for this to have been my experience

Lara K: Honestly quite disappointed at this place. This is for the bakery only but they sold me a stale, at least a day old, baguette. If you’re going to sell old bread at least let people know, discount it, or make some croutons. I have gotten lovely fresh bread from here before so it honestly makes it worse knowing they’ll sell to people who want to support their business. I wish better for you!

Meredith Hodulik: All of the food was fantastic - picture is of the passion fruit tart which unreal. If you love passion fruit, it’s a must. To top it off, the service was fantastic. Our server had many tables, but he somehow was able to make sure everyone had everything they wanted - perfect balance of attentive without being overbearing. Was a great night, and we’ll definitely be back.
