Nicholas Perez: This is the very first time I’ve posted a review for honestly anything but my experience has been so poor and so unprofessional that I feel I need to warn others before they drop a grand on one of these scooters.I got rid of my car a year ago to replace it with a scooter as a friend of mine had one from this very store and spoke very highly of it.I will admit that the staff were very respectful and polite during my interactions and listened to a number of my concerns and what I planned on doing with the bike. The associate directed towards a higher model bike that was pricey but assured was good for the amount of distance I planned on traveling.After dropping almost 1,000 dollars for a scooter I was able to enjoy it for maybe 1 month. After that month, the pole connecting the handle bar to the steering snapped off while I was driving, nearly flipping me over and stranding me in the middle of the Bronx.I called and was told to take it back to the shop where they will fix it for 80 dollars. After dropping even more money and waiting 3 weeks I was told to come pick it up.Within a week the tire dislodges during a ride due to a flat and I almost flip over again. These people had the audacity to charge me again a week after I picked it up to repair it.So in the span of 3 months after buying this scooter has broken twice and they have charged me for it every time.I’m currently dealing with another repair but refuse to take it back to them and am using another shop. I plan to sell afterwards.Do yourself a favor, look for another shop, do not give these people your money. They will scam you, take your money and have you coming in regularly for repairs.

I say she because a machine is classified as a female. A machine is a woman with curves in all the right places.This machine here runs on a 48 volt battery and a 500 watt motor. And at a top speed at 25 miles per hour. And she's a smooth ride. This here bike rides like a charm and a dream. Smooth sailing.Well she may not be a Harley Davidson chopper motorcycle like I wanted in the first place.I call this machine the LONE WOLF. And is a tribute to the meaning of keep the chrome side up and the rubber side down.What does that mean, people ? That means the body of the bike is a chrome finish. And the tires are rubber.With the ape hanger bars, round motorcycle headlight, and the motorcycle wheels and tires of 20" X 4". It surely has a motorcycle feel to it.And just like the true biker way or motorcycle enthusiastic way. I follow the traffic laws of the road.I wear a helmet on my head for protection of my head and goggles for protection on my eyes. Well I don't want to fall on when I ride. And I don't want dust or bugs flying into my eyes. Hopefully that never happens ever.Plus I ride on the rode with traffic. Never against it. And never on the sidewalk either.In closing. This is my motorcycle. I ride with the wind in my face and hair. And my mind is clear.And that's about it people. Ride on. And be safe out there.Signed,Craig Apelbaum.

Jamsed Naser: I'm throwing my scooter away that I purchased a few years ago that's been collecting dust so I felt inclined to write a review. I purchased a scooter before the pandemic and everything was fine till about 3 months. The battery on my scooter depleted. It got worse and worse as the weeks went by after. I went back to the store and they explained this is how it is to own a scooter. So I wanted to replace the battery but they didn't carry it then I called the other roll good stores and they didn't have the battery either. I asked them what should I do? They're advice was to look online and basically it wasn't their problem. You're going to save money buying something from this store but you will pay the ultimate price. I learned my lesson buying knock off brands like this the hard way. My friends who got their scooters from reputable stores and reputable brands had them for years while mines collected dust after having it for just 6 months.

Edward Ikeguchi: I bought a scooter and after a few weeks of light use there was a bizarre electrical problem where the motor would just shut down. They gave me a loaner right away. As of this writing, they never figured out the cause, but the communication was excellent with the store and they eventually just traded me a brand new one that has worked flawlessly. I've ridden a number of other scooters and this one is just my absolute favorite.

tommaso casini: I bought two bikes from Blake two years ago and used them for two seasons on fire island riding ON THE BEACH. I commuted five miles each way full time during the first season. They’re about to go through a third season and I know they’ll make it but be warned the components are not made to be in such a corrosive environment. To be fair almost nothing is. Everyday the terrain changed but it’s been so much fun.

When I called them they said, they closed the pick up location the day before. No excuses, nothing.My friends also ordered. They didn’t get the bikes they ordered. Had to pay more money to get an “upgrade”. Never again.

Until today I called to get some information on a battery and the guy who answered was so rude. I need a new battery and just needed some info so I bought the right one but he didn't wasn't to give me a straight answer.. I spent 2k here and I guess once they have your money they don't seem to care about you after. I wouldn't buy from them again after today. Fyi I was getting a new battery so I can gift my current bike and get myself a new one. . I'll take my $ elsewhere

Perrin Williams: I have had such a great experience with Joulvert! First off, the bike has been running well and the only mishap has been a flat tire, which is an easy fix! This bike lasts. Also, the customer service has been outstanding, as well. I would highly recommend this instead of Super73 because I have both and Super73 is made very poorly. Anyways, Joulvert is fantastic!

He even let me try to fit them all in my sedans trunk. I ended up getting the Fluid Mantis V2 because that was the only one I could fit, but every scooter I tried was a winner otherwise. They only have quality products. I do wish there was a FluidFreeRide location in South Brooklyn though because servicing is difficult when the shop is so far away. These guys are great. Will definitely be shopping here again!

I stumbled upon the place and he made it feel like it was a long time friend you haven't seen in ages. Milton Davis: I first called this location which was suggested by a friend. The person on the phone was helpful and suggested I come visit the location. He first answered all my questions. That made me want to visit the location. It’s a busy location so have patience. When it was my turn which didn’t take long maybe 5-10 min.. Chuck was very helpful and informative on what was the best scooter for my 17 year old daughter. I did a test drive and I was sold Fluid Vista it is. Chuck answered ALL my questions and I am one to ask many questions especially when it comes to the safety of my daughter. I highly recommend this locations..
LambyWolf: Repair jobs aren't done accurately, so you have to keep coming back. Trying to get scheduled repair dates is almost impossible or you must wait two months. Chuck can't be trusted. Make sure you get everything in writing. Just got my scooter out of repair and there's a hissing sound coming from the tire areas. Chuck acts all smiley and nice..until things aren't right and then he turns into defensive Gollum.

Maria K: This place was a lifesaver! It is one of the few in the city open past 6pm. I was riding around Central Park, but after my Tern foldable back bike tire kept deflating I started calling bike shops to get it fixed. That’s when I realized most of the bike shops were already closed. NYC Bike and Scooter shop fixed the tire in front of me. It took 10 minutes and they also had an extra inner tube and a patch kit for sale. I was going to ride the Five Borough Bike Tour the next day and thanks to Sal and Pedro I actually am!!!

Atsu Fujinuma: I had a flat tire of my e-scooter changed twice in this shop, both times due to stepping on nails and glasses that punctured my back tire. This shop is friendly, quick and very helpful. They changed my tires in about 2 hours for a very reasonable price, called me when it was done, and I was able to ride back with a new tire. He even looked after the brakes and other parts and filled air to the front tire as well. Happy that they are nearby and open early as well. Hope I don't have to go again, but recommend others if you need repair or changes.

Ernest E: Excellent and timely service! I unfortunately had a flat on my Segway Ninebot Max, and I called this morning and was able to take it in the same day. Not only was the flat replaced, but they had inventory of the same exact tire. Only took 2-3 hrs after a drop off. I came back and picked it up and it was perfect. I was even provided some advice on best care moving forward. This is the place I’ll be going to from now on.

The guys here were awesome- answered the phone and told me they had what I needed and asked us to bring it in. Gary was great- he went above and beyond, not only getting me my new back tire, but also checking the rest of my scooter! The service was quick, and my scooter is like new. These guys really helped me out and I highly recommend them.

The fellas here found it within 5 min and resolved it in the most efficient manner possible. They also saw a lot of issues I would have had in the future and helped in fixing those as well. FENDI MONSTER: This Scooter Shop is Awesome from Exclusive Weped Scooter hard to find in the U S.A. they have them. Also a nice amount of Scooter accessory I must say. Customers Service is A+++ the staff and mechanics are friendly plus from personal experience when you go in for a repair it gets done properly if they say it's fixed trust it's fixed. The shop is covid compliant if don't have a mask they will provide you with one and Parell at the door. The prices are fair and the mechanics are knowledgeable and helpful with any of your inquiries that you may have. They have Scooters for professional riders and beginners. Not sure what Scooter suits your needs drop right in or give them a call you will be satisfied.

Ning Xiao: For those of you who's looking for a "Minimotors" subbranch, this is not the place to go to. I bought a Dualtron Victor at Minimotors in New Jersey, and had some really minor issues that need some fix around. New Jersey is a bit too far so I went to this "minimotor NYC". They charged $30 for two screws, and was asking for another $125 for a minor minor fix. However, I went to the one at New Jersey and had everything fixed for free under 20 minutes. Also, the staffs at New Jersey told me that this "Minimotors" is not official. Don't get me wrong, by non-official I mean they are not the "minimotors" that the Dualtron is working with. I don't want to say things like "this store uses this name to trick people into coming so that they can charge them way more than they should", but if "Minimotor" is what you're looking for, don't come to this place. Go to New Jersey and save the money.

They’re friendly and courteous, it’s always good vibes every time I need a fix. I have all my trust in them when it comes to maintaining my scooter. The service is high quality and worth every penny. The pricing is reasonable because you’re paying for quality not quantity. The Don, is the man behind the shop and he gets straight to the point and doesn’t bs you. You can tell that the rest of the workers reflect him because they show a sense of urgency & compassion in what they do.

I regret buying a bike from them.In short, if you buy a bike from them, make sure that you can service it from somewhere else.

I did a lot of research online on which bikes I would be interested in and had narrowed it down to a few. I was most interested in the carbo. Seeing the bike in person and test riding it really made me confident in spending the money on this bike. Additionally, I was able to ask the repair shop about their experience with carbo bikes and if they break down often. There was a lot of expertise around bikes, and I learned a ton, despite spending a size able amount of time doing my own research. Super nice guys, and overall great experience. I’ll definitely be coming back for my next bike purchase!

Joshua Rodriguez: Rented a scooter here for about 6months, put about 400miles on it and had zero issues with the scooter and zero issues with the App the whole time. I’m a personal trainer so the locking feature was crucial for me as I traveled around the city and made frequent stops on a tight schedule.The only Con is the scooter is front heavy so you have to keep your weight back in order to ride safely on the fastest mode, 20mph. However, this wasn’t a big deal for me and just adjusted my riding style a bit.Customer support is top notch; no automated system, no 3rd party call centers, just the real Beyond Team (Jasper is great).
JO LO: I’m going to be truly honest for my review. I got tired of using Citi Bike as a rideshare service and was interested in possibly using a scooter service. After doing some research, I know that I wanted a scooter service that was easy to pick up and was able to receive a replacement or service same day if necessary. Beyond seemed like the fit for me. I filled out the application and paid the fee, went to the location in lower Manhattan to pick up my scooter, and everything was smooth there. Being used to the smoother, electric bike experience I didn’t really like how you felt every single bump When riding. I thought it was really convenient to have an app that allowed me to lock the scooter when I had to run into the store really quick, etc.. however, there were many times where it lagged and I had to restart the app a couple times to unlock. But nothing crazy except two weeks into my using the scooter it was stolen. Someone strategically removed the scooter, leaving the lock intact, Which blew my mind that there was no type of alert, alarm or anything In the app to tell me. The morning after I spoke to beyond they basically explained, I was subject to all of the terms and conditions and I was out raged because I hadn’t even had the scooter a month. I do feel that there was some thing they couldve done considering the amount of time I was with them(14days) I’m not sure it was right for someone to have your product for such a short amount of time and it be EASILY stolen and then say yeah you owe us $200 before we can replace it. All they did was offer to pay the $200 in installments, and I had to have the entire deductible pay before receiving my replacement smh.. unfortunately, this was not for me and I would not suggest this product to anyone. Hopefully, they develop better scooters and processes to accommodate people who take a chance on them.

Michael Rubin: My experience was terrific with the entire staff at this company. The person on the phone who was a woman was so friendly, and answered all my questions. The price in my opinion is very good. Considering that every payment goes towards the purchase price, and any maintenance along with theft insurance is included. I own another scooter, but I like the SV1 for these reasons. 1) Lightweight for an e-scooter (approx 26 pounds). 2) Integrated smart lock and GPS tracking 3) sleek design w/cool running lights. 4) easy to transport when folded 5) USB port for charging a phone 6) easy folding ability w/slim profile.When I arrived at the HQ in Tribeca to pick up the scooter. I was greeted by Jasper who was very professional, and went over everything in detail.This was my first experience with this type of service, and I was very impressed. I live outside of NYC, and the only requirement is that the scooter must be brought into the main HQ for any repair work. That’s not an issue for me since I commute to NYC.If you’re still on the fence about getting an e-scooter and you live near this business, I would give them a try. Worst case scenario you cancel your subscription and return the scooter.This review is based on my own personal experience. I was not in any way compensated for leaving this review. Victor: I was a bit sceptical at first but a few months later, I had no issues what do ever with the scooter. The motor and battery are great 👍🏼 but the accessories can be better, my biggest pain no rear light. Maybe put some red LEDs on the rear of the scooter by the yellow line and the front LED can be a lot better, just a thought! Thank you!

The price is affordable compared to everyone else in NYC and the costumer service that this company provides is top notch. Getting the scooter was pretty easy. I set up my account online, they scheduled an appointment for me to come in and test ride the scooter, ( Jasper and Paola) made this process so easy for me. In just 10 min I walked out their store with my scooter. If you thinking about it just do it, you will win.

Everything from the initial communication to my experience picking up and returning the scooters was seamless. Their pricing is fair, the customer service was impeccable (they offered complimentary espresso upon my arrival, please name another scooter/bike rental business in town that does that), and they were very thorough with explaining how the scooters worked. On top of that, they take very good care of their equipment and make sure you’re taken care of. I really only have positive things to say about my experience with Beyond.
