Dyckman Bar & Kitchen: what do users think?

Renee Rodriguez: My first time here. Nice atmosphere. Food took very long to come out. I just ordered wings took over an hour. It was busy so I understand. What was the craziest thing was the girl that served me was so rude. I believe her name was Leslie. She has an attitude the entire time as if she did want to be at work. The worst part was that she kept my change with out asking. She took care of my friend also we had separate checks. She kept her change also. So sad that they can’t afford to pay their employees so they have to steal from customer. Word of advice . Get new servers. Then I’ll try this place again.

Dnase Dnase: Enjoyed the service, the music and the crowd on Sexy Saturday. Rain didn't stop us!

Sandra Almonte: I loved it, the food is super good, excellent attention, I loved the place, I recommend it.

Noemi D: Great uptown vibes and music...Tip: check the DJs for the night.

Jose Peralta: Amazing bar they have great service and they gave attentive service. You should definetly checking this service out. Especially with extended happy hour until 9PM

T Yjj: Visited with my gf and friends last night. Had a blast the bartender was working the bar and floor and still took great care of us. We’ll be back to enjoy more drinks.

S Brown: Haven't been here in years, it's small but the music was great. I think they have a limited menu now which they didn't back then...

IG: Sidd _Captures: Dyckman Bar is the kind of place you walk into and instantly know you've discovered something special. Nestled in the heart of Dyckman, this exclusive bar is a testament to the vibrant culture and fierce pride of the neighborhood. From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted by the sounds of reggaeton and the unmistakable energy of the locals. But it's not just the atmosphere that sets Dyckman Bar apart – it's the attention to detail, the way every element of the experience is infused with the spirit of the neighborhood. From the murals on the walls to the menu of authentic Dominican cocktails, every aspect of the bar is a celebration of Dyckman's rich culture and history. And the drinks themselves? They're a testament to the skill and creativity of the bartenders, who have crafted a menu that blends classic cocktails with local flavors and ingredients. The signature drink, the Dyckman Sunset, is a sweet, fruity concoction that captures the essence of a summer evening on the block. But perhaps what's most impressive about Dyckman Bar is the sense of community it fosters. It's a place where locals come to relax, unwind, and connect with one another. The bar is a hub of activity, a place where people come together to celebrate, to mourn, to discuss the events of the day. And in that sense, it's more than just a bar – it's a cornerstone of the neighborhood, a symbol of the strength and resilience of the people of Dyckman.

Melissarussel Rodneya: Hype spot

Jasiris De Los Santos: Angel is the best, sweetest thinng. Made our experience the best.

Ieshia Moody: Jenine has excellent customer service the entire stay she helped me out recommended drinks and food and was very pleasant it was an amazing experience and I’ll be back very pleased

pretty baad: I must say everytime I come here I have a great time ! The first thing I say is if YARIE is not there I'm not coming ! Yarie is the best shes very attentive always smiling and showing love very friendly and her customer service is elite She makes this place a great place to be don't matter if it's for happy hours after work or nightlife or weekend turn ups you can count on her 💃🥂 oh yeah and her PASSION FRUIT MARGARITAS !! ARE HIGHLY RECOMENDED !! Sincerely .. a happy customer 🙂

Ashley Ortiz: This weekend at dyckman bar was amazing. They had great music and drinks. I had a blond female with glasses attending me and my friends. She was so great. She was so full of energy and made sure we were satisfied with our drinks. I definitely will be back again.

Lish: The staff is absolutely one of the many reasons I come here, but the brunch is unmatched❣️❣️😋🤤 Definitely worth the trip for a fun time and good food. Oh, and when I say brunch on Saturday, I mean, it's lunchtime, but brunch for us lage risers. Go for the French toast for SURE! Will update with photos of the French toast at another date. Mamasushi: what do users think?

Natalie Ortiz: The sushi was really good. The fact that some rolls are $20 for 8 pieces is a little wild though. The shrimp pad Thai did not have the original taste I was looking for but it still had good flavor. The server was attentive. One thing that was not their fault but it was annoying is that because they have garage style window there were a number of flies.

Ailin Estrella: Great food. Bad service

Digital Hassan: Title: A Sushi Haven with a Twist - Mama Sushi Delivers!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Yesterday evening, I enjoyed dining at Mama Sushi at 74 Dyckman Street in upper Manhattan. This delightful eatery boasts three unique dining spaces to cater to your ambiance preference – a cozy indoor area, a curbside space, and an innovative designated fenced area across the street. Since the weather was on my side, I settled comfortably in the latter, an arrangement showcasing Mama Sushi's creativity in urban space. As the DJ effortlessly spun a selection of Latin tunes, my senses were entertained and enticed by their kitchen's exotic aroma. The well-chosen music and excellent audio quality added an extra layer of enjoyment to my dining experience, merging seamlessly with the restaurant's lively vibe.Having had my fill of raw sushi in the past, I sought a different culinary adventure. The courteous and accommodating host pointed me towards their house sushi roll called 237 Dyckman - a delectable blend of Shrimp Tempura, Sweet Plantain, Avocado, and Cream Cheese, all coated in a sublime Eel Sauce and deep-fried to perfection. The sushi roll came with the usual sushi accompaniments and was generously portioned, adding value to the dining experience.Although the wait was slightly longer than usual, it was understandable, given the bustling weekend crowd and the delightful weather. While the preparation and presentation were impressive, I still preferred the raw sushi variety. The staff at Mama Sushi deserves a special mention. Despite the language barrier, some team members were not fluent in English, so they provided impeccable service. This place reflects the surrounding neighborhood, with Spanish as a common language. One glance at their extensive menu shows that this restaurant is not just about sushi. Their vast offerings ensure I'll be back to embark on a new gastronomic journey. And the cherry on top? The roll dish and my soda cost were reasonable, promising quality food without breaking the bank.Overall, my experience at Mama Sushi was overwhelmingly positive. It's an enchanting blend of delicious, inventive food, refreshing music, a unique ambiance, and welcoming staff. A gem in Manhattan that I'd highly recommend to locals and tourists alike.Looking forward to my next visit, Mama Sushi! 🍣

Cj B: AFTER 10MINS OF EATING THE SUSHI SMMFH I WAS SO EMBARRASSED TO SEE HER GET SICK SO FAST. I ASKED THE WAITRESS TO PLEASE GET HER SOME WATER AND IT TOOK HER 15-25MINS JUST TO FREAKIN COME BACK. IT WASNT EVEN PACKED. THE DRINKS WERE WATERED DOWN SO BAD. WORST OF ALL, THEY HAD FREAKIN RATS‼️

Doqueen: Great sushi❤️❤️ love it !

Nohelia Castro: Not your typical sushi! I got salami with cheese covered with sweet plantain type of sushi. Did it work? Was it tasty? Yes and yes!!! We got seated inside , a DJ was playing top reggaeton music… it was fun for a bit but it got old too quickly.. music was extremely loud. Can’t talk to anyone. I would go back for the Dominican style sushi. Very yummy.. got the chicken teriyaki.. not good.. chicken was too cooked.. also got the octopus.. not the best.. a bit too cooked and chewy

Pop & Pour: what do users think?

Karin Tifa: not fresh ones. I have had the worst food poising from these sliders. I almost took a trip to the ER because my food poisoning cramps started immediately after I had these sliders. Needless to say I will never return to this place.

Wally Ventura: Small, cozy, nice setup. The owners will take care of you, everybody is friendly and quick to serve you, the food is very good. Keep up the good work.

Joel Ortiz: Good place. The only problem I have is that the music playing has an unnecessary drummer playing alongside music on the speaker and its loud AF that you cant even speak to a person next to you. If they lowered it to maybe even half that would make the world of a difference.

Hannah Brown: Great team and atmosphere! Great time to be had by all. Highly recommended!

Evelyn Escobar: Delicious food, good portions and competitively priced. served in a professional and friendly manner. Even had color changing cubes in my drink! The location inviting, nicely decorated. Had a fantastic time, and el definitely go back!

Raysa Veras: Súper, súper complacida, todo rico el servicio excelente. Muy recomendado

IG: Sidd _Captures: Pop and Pour, tucked away in the lively neighborhood of Dyckman, offers a refreshing break from the typical New York City restaurant scene. With its unassuming exterior and cozy interior, this spot manages to capture the essence of what makes a great neighborhood joint.Walking in, you're immediately greeted with the comforting smell of freshly cooked food and the warm smiles of the staff. The decor is simple but tasteful, with wooden tables and chairs that give the space a rustic feel. It's the kind of place you could come to on a date, with friends, or even solo, and feel perfectly at home. But let's get to the food. The menu is focused on classic American fare with a twist, and everything we tried was delicious. The burger, cooked to perfection with a juicy patty and a fluffy brioche bun, was a standout. The fries were crispy and addictively seasoned. And the wings, coated in a tangy sauce that balanced the perfect amount of sweetness and heat, were finger-licking good. But what really sets Pop and Pour apart is the attention to detail. The chef clearly takes pride in his work, and it shows in the little touches. The homemade pickles on the side of the burger, the freshly grated Parmesan on top of the fries, the perfectly toasted sesame seeds on the buns - these are the kind of details that make a meal memorable. And let's not forget about the drinks. Pop and Pour has an impressive selection of craft beers and creative cocktails that are sure to please any palate. I highly recommend trying the margarita - it's the perfect balance of sweet and sour, with a kick of tequila that'll have you feeling good in no time.Overall, Pop and Pour is the kind of restaurant that makes you feel like you're part of the family. It's a place you'll want to come back to again and again, whether it's for the food, the drinks, or just the good vibes. So if you find yourself in Dyckman, do yourself a favor and pop in for a bite at Pop and Pour. You won't regret it.

Cecilia Ogude: One of my favorite spots in #inwood, #popandpournyc. Love the decor and the food is delish esp the steamed #mussels

Bhavana Reddy: Brilliant bar with the best people and amazing drinks!

Lyl Rose: Super cozy spot in Inwood. Easy to find. Very welcoming. Practicing dry January and the bartender kindly obliged creating a wonderful lychee lemonade for me. Enjoyed that along with the happy hour oysters! Great experience.

Ralph Andrada: I can't give the best review because I was falling asleep and getting roasted by my friends. What I can say is the food, service and atmosphere are great.

Marcus Hernandez: Came in at 2:15 lady’s are really. Ice that work there but I wasn’t able get a drink because they close at 3?

Wendy Mella Carreño: Amazing place! It’s a gem on dyckman, cozy ambiance, vwry cool decor, the staff is really friendly.Omgg the food is delicious! My favorite so far the Maple Bacon Cheddar Sliders, best sliders ever!Live music on the weekends is a big plus, I always have a good time. ❤️

Inwood Hill Park: what do users think?

Foster McLaughlin: I love it here on the weekends when the park is full and everyone is having a great time. I dont like though that the parks department does not hold people accountable for their mess. It ruins the park for everyone later on. I feel like there should be parks people present during the weekend holding people accountable for the waste they bring and leave behind. My backyard! Beautiful! Great place to escape and feel like you have some space to breathe. Amazing space to go for runs and never feel like it's dull.Playground: There are 2 playgrounds on both the North side and South side of the parkRestrooms: There is a public restroom near the Isham and Seaman entrance.Dog-friendliness: So many dogs here and a great dog run too.Picnic area: Such a beautiful place for a picnic and in the peninsula where the little league park is you can barbeque there only.

Raphaiel B: Playground: Clean friendly.Restrooms: Needs Supervision attention.Dog-friendliness: Maintenance.Picnic area: Grooming necessary.

Lucas: Really gorgeous park and a great place to start a tip to tip trip. In a very hilly area which is a nice contrast from most of NYC.Dog-friendliness: Great place to run with your dog
