Samuel Pacheco: The food... the food was absolutely amazing. First time where I felt that the price I paid despite the portions of the food was worth the quality of the food. The ambiance was great, service was wonderful and patient . 100% recommending the place to other people and will be back again. I can't emphasize enough, the food was great. If you're looking for a nice classy place to go to to have a date or meeting, this is definitely a place to check out.
Kevin Black: A disappointing Michelin experience to say the least. While the décor, ambiance, and service were up to par with the standards my friends and I expect from a restaurant of this caliber, the food was abysmal. The Lobster bisque to start was over salted and rather bland but the table side presentation was quite enjoyable. However, the main course is where we found most issues. I had the spaghettis and found the ratio of crab to pasta was extremely disproportionate. In terms of flavors, the crab and chilies paired excellently but the pasta threw off the texture of the dish. This may be exacerbated by some lack luster noodle quality. You can find much better pasta at most Italian places in a comparable range. My companion did, in fact, have a worse experience. She had the Culurgiones which she could not finish and felt sick after eating. Not the quality or outome we would expect. In a week of travelling for food in NYC, I do have to say, the affogato to finish thigs off was a nice way to end the meal and contrasted the stale bread we were served before our meal.
radmila karpusheva: One of the best restaurants I've ever been to...I was delighted with visiting this chic place...I liked everything: the interior, atmosphere, service, dishes, serving dishes, quality of food...I celebrated my birthday...I will definitely come back here again...I recommend it to everyone...
Wb: This is the ideal time to dine at Ai Fiori because Marea's kitchen staff has joined Ai Fiori's team the result of which is a new menu combining dishes from both restaurants. We visited in celebration of our and our neighbors' anniversaries. The restaurant is on the second floor of the upscale Langham Hotel and the restaurant reflects an elegance that we found very refreshing. The front desk's friendly greeting was followed by the first class, professional service of the well informed waiter and wine steward. Well made cocktails were followed by a 4 course dinner combining dishes from both restaurants as described by our exuberant waiter. The joining of the two kitchens allowed us to chose hits from both in the form of excellent seafood and pasta plates. The only problem was deciding which ones. We were inpressed that the wine was poured in the European manner so that a single bottle sufficed for the entire meal. Excellent desserts were followed by a surprise champagne toast for our respective anniversaries compliments of the restaurant. The evening was delightful and memorable.

Dianna Jaimungal: Disappointing experience. The food was average there was nothing special or a any amazing dish that stood out.The service was curt and dry. All employees at the restaurant looked serious or unhappy, not a single smile. The waiter mixed up one of our drink order and when we spoke to him about it he was unapologetic and a bit rude asking if we would stick with the incorrect order or if we want to switch to the correct.During our main course the two entry doors were open, letting in a terrible cold draft directly at us and when asked the waiter if the inner door could be closed until the all arriving guest from that group were actually ready to enter, he replied with attitude ' guest are coming in'. But from our table we could clearly see the guests were still on the street but both doors were wide open.On our reservation we stated we were celebrating a birthday, but no one acknowledged it or even asked. This was a bad experience overall and we selected this restaurant as my brother and his fiance who were visiting from Trinidad wanted to have the Michelin star experience for his birthday. The friendliest and most polite person was the the guy at coat check, the rest of staff could take some pointers s from him!I would not recommend here. Go somewhere else there are many better restaurants in NYC.
Olivia: Just when I was about to give up on the quality of food in NY during my week long visit, i got to celebrate my birthday at Bâtard. Everything was on point, the bread was warm, the tartare was perfectly seasoned, they also got the doneness of the meats right. The cocktail packed a big punch, and it was such a memorable meal. I fell in love at this dinner. Pity you guys are closing!
Cassie Eakins: Nice atmosphere and service, but for the price, the food was just good. It was our first experience with a Michelin star restaurant so we had high hopes, but this experience made us realize maybe we’re okay with a step down from fine dining.
Pedro Mejía: Absolutely delicious. You must definitely try the beef tartare and the duck ragou!
Francisco Santibañez: , service OK but wouldn´t say this is "fine dining" as vibe was relax and service a bit informal
Brett Bar: Another reason to love NYIn the middle if the bast places this stands outFood great, best steak tar tar i might have ever had and if its on the menu i eat it so its saying a litWine menu is so big but it will cost youBut 105 bucks for 4 coures in ctazy, cause its all greatSome knows all
Russell Maulitz: Recommended dishes Day Boat Scallops, Hamachi Crudo
Joe Priestley: A somewhat dated room but the service was impeccable. Food was very good. I do wish my steak knife had at least some kind of sharpener in the last decade. The NY strip was great but the knife was so dull, I ended up just using my teeth to tear the steak. Super good, okay room, and bad steak knives. We absolutely would go back and I would really hope we got the same service staff. Amazing people!
EvilNogard: Romantic, high-end restaurant that costs an arm and a leg. They have a great drink selection; they even have mocktails! The heirloom tomatoes are really flavorful paired with the cheese spread. The main courses are also cooked to perfection. The desserts are the star of the show; the rose vacherin is cloudy and tastes like a rose garden. This is an excellent place for a luxury dinner, but one should watch their wallet here.
Neha Luthra: The space was so nice! It was not very crowded, the service was great as well. But the food itself was amazing. I really felt it was worth it and it tasted great.
Peter Berberian: Such a great experience, food was amazing in both in visual presentation and taste. Service was outstanding. We will be back.Recommended dishes Beef Tartare, Duck Breast, Duck & Foie Gras Terrine …
Ray Ehscheid: My first time back to this classic New York space in about a year and a half, and still really impressed by the quality of the food, the rather amusing and spot on service, and the astonishing wine list that I recall from previous visits. The room remains the same, and the quality of the cooking is top notch. I actually think it’s quite a value now based upon the prix fixe menu they’ve created and will definitely go back. And they make a pretty damn good Sazerac…
Michael Jones: Recommended dishes Day Boat Scallops, Sorbet Trio, Duck Breast, Carnaroli Risotto
珍妮佛: Isn't Michelin restaurant supposed to taste good food? The people who came to dine were very excited and kept talkingand speak loudlyThe dining environment is too noisy

Stacey Quandt: First time dining at Daniel. While the food is extraordinary what stood out most was our primary server Magalie. Her name means Pearl in English and she is a precious gem. She explained each dish and helped with my struggle over the dessert choices. Magalie's table side preparation of the foie gras was perfection. The restaurant is quiet for relaxed conversation. Of the four courses my favorites were the spot prawn tartar, and the soft shell crab tempura. The amuse bouche trio of leeks was so delicious and beautiful to look at. I look forward to dining here again.
Oliver Sean: Enchanting restaurant between Madison and Park av.We are close to perfection, the 3rd Michelin star is close!!
toffy concepcion: This is a 2* Michelin restaurant owned by one of NY's most legendary chefs. It truly deserves its' status. It was a rainy day and we came early in case of traffic. They accomodated is in the lounge and I had a nice glass of port while I waited for our dinner reservation. Really comfortable chairs and very elegant in a classic building. We had spot prawns tartare which were exquisite with the uni. We also had smoked sable fish vichyssoise with ossetra caviar. The mild sourness of the soup balanced the strong flavor of the fish and the caviar was a highlight. We shared a very rich and intense foie gras that was pre-seared then flambéd table side. This was a highlight of our meal. The soft shell crab tempura had different sauces and accents that elevated the experience. Some of us had swordfish which was a work of art and others a strip loin that even if it was rare, didn't taste bloody and was really tender. I could imagine it was prepared sous vide before it was seared.Dessert was a work of art. We had 3 different plates and forgot the names of the dishes. To end a wonderful night we had chocolate sticks including one our server arranged as a hashtag truly #exquisite.
Gizele Tavares: I had an amazing time and really enjoyed the caviar and cocktails. The service was phenomenal. Can’t wait to come back. Also enjoy with the amazing company the CEO Simon Evans from Stabilice Frozen foundation systems@gizele_.Tavares
Demi Hewitt: The last time I was at Daniel it was before covid. There were inconsistencies in the food that bothered me. On this visit, post covid, Daniel was back. Everything was perfect. There were exciting tastes and presentations. The service was prompt, attentive, and knowledgeable. Not being able to complain about anything, let me mention the dinner. The meal started with three small canapés each made from celery. The most amazing was a celery puree drizzled with a spiced sauce that brought heat and danced on the taste buds. The first course was foie gras, locally sourced, perfectly flavored. The second was scallops done in a manner I have never tasted before. They seem to be layered on potatoes and covered with a green sauce. I wish I could be more specific but I don't remember how the menu described the dishes. The combination of flavors and consistencies of each dish was amazing. The main course was a rib eye of pork flavored with a bacon spiced sauce and it was superb. Finally there was a lemon tart desert beyond compare.Go to Daniel!
Katelyn: This was a very disappointing experience. I had high expectations for this dinner because of the reputation that Daniel Boulud has and French food is one of my favorite cuisines but sadly almost every dish was completely flavorless. The desserts were the best part of the meal but still my boyfriend thought his didn't taste like much. The way that my oyster dish was plated looked like a half eaten plate which was very odd and I was really disappointed that my dover sole was raw and cold in the center. I loved the petits fours and the chocolate selection was cool at the end of the dinner. The take home canelés and the passionfruit vacherin were the best parts of the meal. We got the prix fixe menu and I wonder if it would've been a better experience getting the tasting menu. I'm definitely never coming back though, this was the first time I really regretted eating at a Michelin starred restaurant, I'm confused how it retains 2 stars. There are so many other starred restaurants in New York that I wish we went to instead, especially for over $700. Overall it wasn’t a good experience, the one good aspect was the service, it was actually one of the best that we had received on our New York trip so that helped a little bit at least.
Rogerio Teixeira: The lounge is very comfortable and gives you the feeling of being at their former Cafe Boulud . Great wine list with plenty of fairly priced options.I could eat here everyday. One piece of constructive criticism, there seemed to be some sort of lack of synchronization with serving the wine in the beginning of the evening and I just hoped the bottle had come sooner and the young lady serving, smiled more. Can’t wait to be back!
