Overthrow Boxing Club: what do users think?

Tyler: Great gym and varied levels of classes depending on your level.

Aung Moon: Amazing setting upstairs and downstairs. I love the vibe of this whole place. And the people up front are so nice and chill.

Paul Tseng: It's a cool place to do cardio but probably not for serious boxing type. Haven't been to enough class to judge if they good or not for learning real boxing skills. Rating it only from a fitness class perspective. That said, dim lit basement workout is prolly not for everyone, I found it quite packed which I wish to have more room to practice. Overall the staff and instructor are friendly ppl to enjoy a nice workout

Jay Zachariah: Awesome workout. Great vibes, community, music. Go downstairs for iconic underground work -- equal parts bag and plyo. Do the upstairs "ring work" class to focus on form and technique -- lot of bag, mitt, partner work. Good workout regardless of what you choose. Friendly to beginners but can also go very hard.Note: bathrooms/showers are a little tight but you're not going here for that.Adriel + Julian are great coaches.

Martina Ruseva: Such a cool vibe! I took a class on Saturday morning at 10:15am and there were around 20 other people in the class, a good mix of girls and guys. The studio had multiple floors and the class was in the basement. The locker room was on the 2nd floor, but bring your own lock for it. Overall liked the studio and the class.

Bridget Carroll: Love this place! Great workout but also knowledgeable instructors that are good at helping with technique.

fasnueve: Neighborhood box.

Alen Sadeh: Did a drop in class. It was a cool gym and a fun experience but I just happened to get a bad instructor.

C W: Imagine playing God & telling people to inject themselves w a concoction that doesn’t work, doesn’t prevent transmission and is killing and harming ppl to be able to work out here… and a boxing gym of all places lol, real tough guys. Gross.

Jody Johns: It's fun. It's a good work out. All the instructors are nice and play good music.

John Hansford: Overthrow is great. Everyone is cool and friendly.

Aidan Sheridan: To start training here what exactly do I need

El Señor New York Jewelry: Everybody here is friendly and welcoming 🤜🏽🤛🏽

Boi Phan Thuc: . You'd think with all the money they charge they'd at least give the place a fresh coat of paint. If you actually want to learn technique and fundamentals go to the numerous other gyms in NY where they care more about boxing than fight club aesthetics and "plant-based community fridges".

Kevin Kam: This gym does it right! Fantastic classes and fantastic customer service. Honest work for honest prices.

Anya Lesun: I started coming here about a month ago and now I’m a regular. From all fitness classes with the boxing concept that exist in NYC “Overthrow Boxing” is the most authentic one. Classes are fun, time flies when I’m in it. If you are a beginner I’d recommend to take a few private classes to learn the technique so you can practice it in the classes. Love this place.

Leslie Lewis: Warning—if you are not a fan of tough love, of getting dirty, and of pores you didn’t know existed sweating and muscles you did not know you had aching, then Overthrow might not be for you. BUT, if you are a fan of being pushed to be faster, better, and stronger—mentally and physically—then Welcome Home. I’m so happy I found Overthrow during these last few years. I had boxed before at what I now realize was a fairly bougie gym but damn, walking into Overthrow is grunge paradise. The instructors do not come to play so be prepared to move and keep moving—especially with Laura. There’s lots of good instructors there, but I walk into her class every time with a smile, full well knowing I’m about to get my arse handed to me. Lots of people can stand at the front of a class and shout combinations, but Laura is the kind of teacher who makes you want to show up and always try harder. She will teach you power, pride, and perseverance, so come to Overthrow and see for yourself.

🔥 NY Best Kickboxing 🔥: what do users think?

John-Anthony Chamness: Payed for a classes ,had to change the date but then I got blocked. No refund, No email, No professionalism. Just blocked without a response or call. Terrible horrible and thieving company and most definitely HOMOPHOBIC.

lauren erin dooley: to no avail have yet to receive any refund or get ahold of anyone. When asked for the owners contact they were hesitant to provide it. Rude is not even the word to describe the way in which the owner replied. Owner handled everything in an unprofessional manner. Will not be going back.

Tunahan Kızılkoca: hello my name is tunahan i am foreign i am turkish i cant speak english much i want to kick box can you help me

Bill Wang: Signed up for a Groupon deal and worked out here for 10 kickboxing sessions. Overall great gym and very professional! Gym is clean and instructors are very friendly. Fitness sessions are beginner-friendly, high paced and a great workout; the intermediate classes are a little slower paced with more focus on technique. There are also kung fu and other martial arts available.

Maureen VanTrease: I love this place! It's not just an amazing workout, it's fight and self defense workshops too! David and EJ are the best!

Ezekiel Zimmerman: and the level of instruction is world-class. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced martial artist, if you are looking to get in shape, to learn real technique or to take your training to the next level this is the place to come in NYC!

Daria Kоbzar: As a member of NY Best Kickboxing for around a year now, I cannot say enough good things about the place, the instructors, and the community. The instructors are motivating, encouraging, and very skilful. They tailor classes and instruction to any skill level. Since I have started I have learned so much. This place gives me confidence and passion for Kickboxing. Can’t wait for the next class.

Risantd: Positive:Quality,Value

Kayleigh Butcher: and have been a member ever since. Love the workouts. Love the lessons in self-defense. Love the other members that go here. And love the instructors. I also wanna give them a special shoutout for making classes and info available during the pandemic - I've always felt as safe and protected as possible during the workouts, inside or outside.

Trevor Sawyers: .

Geena Golon: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value

Gresa Halili: Edit- after having written the review, I received texts and emails in response in which I was accused of lying and of starting “fake drama”, as if I have nothing better to do than make false accusations about this place. I’m posting screenshots to show their “wonderful” customer service. You don’t have to take my word for it, all you have to do is read their responses to any negative review here and you’ll understand the kind of people you’re dealing with.I have over 40 classes with them that I prepaid for. I’ve been trying to call them for several months to figure out when they’ll be resuming their classes. They haven’t replied to a single email, a single phone call, a single message sent on Instagram. If I could take legal action against them I would. At this point, it really feels they’ve stolen my money. I Initially wanted to resume classes with them but now I just want my money back. I spent hundreds for these classes and can’t even get in contact with them. Extremely disappointed in their services.

Michelle Liamero: Update 2019. I can say the same.Best work out in NYC!!!!! I would recommend it to anyone that wants to look and feel their very best!!!!!

Michael Rook: If you want authentic martial arts training, made relevant to the functional demands of the pragmatically minded modern fighter and martial arts enthusiast, you'll find nowhere better than NY Best Kickboxing.

The San Francisco Hung Gar Kung Fu Association: After over 40 years in the martial arts, I count NY Best Kickboxing founder and chief instructor David Ross as an amazing colleague, and a dear, trusted friend. Exemplary in his field, he has traveled the world, training and learning from lineage masters, and great modern innovators alike. This knowledge and experience, and the passion that David Ross has for helping others find their own focus in fitness, traditional, and progressive martial arts programs is no less than inspirational, and will always put David Ross and New York Best Kickboxing at the vanguard!Michael GoodwinChief InstructorThe San FranciscoHung Gar Kung Fu Association

Byron Jacobs: David offers truly skilled teachings in the combat arts including both sport practices such as Sanda as well as traditional practices which he has decades of experience in.

Dr. Troy Schott, D.C.: Whenever I am in New York, I ALWAYS attend classes here. I also follow and subscribe to Sifu David Ross' programs online. He puts out quality content whether you're in person or online.Sifu Ross has DECADES of experience in both traditional and modern martial arts instruction. In addition to quality instruction, I also get an amazing workout that leaves both exhausted and refreshed at the same time. Many times when I come to NYC I attend lengthy and exhausting seminars, and I sometimes don't want to go but I'm always glad I did when I leave. You also CANNOT beat the price especially in Manhattan!!!

Laura DeAngelis: A lifelong fitness fanatic, discovering NY Best Kickboxing in my early 40s was my best find yet. From the warm up through the rounds and right through the very last push up or crunch, my body and mind are put to the test and I always feel like I can conquer whatever a NYC day throws at me after a class with one of the awesome instructors. I can honestly say the classes have helped me be in the best shape of my life - both physically and mentally. If you're looking for a no-frills, no-nonsense workout, look no further than NY Best Kickboxing.

TITLE Boxing Club Forest Hills: what do users think?

Elsie Perez-Ingabire: My wife tried to enjoy this place, she really did. She got hurt and has been trying to cancel her membership for months and they've been either outright ignoring her or not answering her messages. They are quick to charge you when signing up but when you're trying to cancel, they charge you every month and ignore you. BE CAREFUL of this. Very SCAM like.

Dan Rodriguez: I’ve Worked out extensively and tried many courses and classes through out my life.If you are looking to get pushed and get in shape, this is the real deal.

Thomas Gearon: Highly recommend the class. The studio is clean, classes are well run and the instructors care. Moses is very knowledgeable and a good dude.

Frank Garcia: By far the best place to workout in Queens and NYC. Trainers are amazing and the staff is always welcoming. Facilities are the cleanest I have seen in any gym in NYC. Classes are challenging and I am yet to do a whole class without taking a break but every time I go, I leave inspired to continue to do better and not give up..

Sylwia Klaput-Ulman: Great staff and instructors. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone. 10/10!!

Marina Reif: Amazing training programVery professional instructorsHighly recommend

Gilda Mulero: I so love all of my instructors, they are each very talented in their unique ways of teaching, what they all have in common is that they are super passionate in teaching...each of the instructors want us to have fun and a great workout. The facility is always clean and well maintained. The front desk staff are welcoming and customer service oriented. The owner works so hard to make everyone happy and has created a beautiful community within the gym. I highly recommend Title Boxing.

Saji F: I really enjoy the classes. Each instructor has their own style and brings something different to the boxing sessions. Everyone is encouraged to go at their own pace. Coach Raheem, Justin and Veronica are some of my favorite instructors.

Yousef Ahmad: Dope gym, great trainers and owners. Felt like a family, whether you’re looking to learn how to fight, be an amateur or even go pro, it’s the place to be.

Vibranium 85: The owner just asumes your a daddy’s kid and doesn’t actually treat you good

Leonardo B.: Amazing I love it here!

GIGI SANRA: Slapped my autistic brother’s across the face, failed to let me know that was part of their “discipline techniques”

Peter Persaud: Brotherhood is the best place to bring your kids and youth. You will not only learn boxing but also discipline. The owner and trainer not only cares about teaching boxing but also helps people become better in life.

Jeremy Bohbot: Great facility with amazing coach and members

Coach Ray: The facility is obligated and dedicated to member safety. We must adhere to NYC guidelines regarding covid. Sparring is only engaged in if students are well prepared and adhere to all safety protocols. Unfortunately, not all are prepared to meet the standards of excellence required to enter the ring or to continue to train here.

Blair: I LOST 30 LBS TRAINING HERE!Brotherhood is exactly what it says it is, a brotherhood! I have never been pushed harder or felt more a part of a gym like I did here!Coach Ray and Fabio are the real deal, this ain't your typical boxercise gym, these cats are serious about the sport of boxing and even more serious about getting to know you and supporting you in reaching your goals.I moved out of state, but if I were still in NYC I would come back in heartbeat! If you're interested in learning to box, do yourself a favor and join brotherhood, believe me you won't be sorry!PS - They also have an amazing kids program!

Chris Spinelli: Very good, personal, one-on-one boxing guidance. Trainer,Ray, is extremely knowledgeable,& will get you where you need to be, regardless of your personal level,& & your personal goals/ambition. Great place overall!

Ashley Whitehead: Great place. Great people. Great coaches.

jak Daxter: If you want to get a good workout come here

Eastern Queens Boxing Club: what do users think?

James Ryan: One of the best boxing gyms.....The training is unbelievable

Cedric Lacombe: I started coming here back in November and I didn’t know what to expect but I can proudly say that joining this gym was one of the best decisions I made in my life. The coaches here could either be your friend or your mentor the choice is yours because there are no classes but they are always watching you and critiquing your technique and how you could improve—You might ask then why should you join? Because this isn’t just a regular boxing gym it’s really just a Big Family and the discipline that you would learn here will stay with you for the rest of your life. This gym is a hidden gem and I would recommend everyone to train here for at least just one month and see the discipline you learn! Shout to Coach Christian, Naeebel, Manny, Raul, Shaeed, and head Coach Al for making the gym a friendly atmosphere for everybody.

Lisa Brandoff: Great gym for women. I felt very welcomed.

Jae Lee: The gym you can trust and improve. I came into the gym as an introvert and a shy individual and yes the boxing gym in itself was intimidating I don’t know why I wanted to box hehe. When I entered the gym I was very intimidated with everyone cause it is a combat sport and being new is intimidating. I came in with the notion that it was a class but it is not it’s a gym where you yourself have to put in individual with program you have to follow and you have the access to the gym in their business hour. The coaches are very extroverted which as a introvert it was difficult, but their enthusiasm to make me improve was very motivating for me to open up to everyone in the gym to find out everyone leaves their ego at the door and want everyone in the gym to be the best version of themselves. This is a gym where you have to show discipline where no one is telling you what to do but to follow the regiment. You might ask what’s the point if they are not teaching you? Trust me I had that thought too, but they are always watching and will critique and help you if they see you following the protocol they set for you. First day They will introduce you to the basic training in the first day orientation. The atmosphere is competitive and friendly. The gym is a hidden gym. Thanks to head coach AL and the supporting coaches Chris, Lyndon, Nabeel, Raul, and Robert for trusting in my process and supporting and helping me to be confidence in myself.

Damanpreet Dhillon: This gym will alter your life. Started going here 3 years ago. Great atmosphere. All of the coaches do an incredible job keeping a family-like environment. Regardless of what your goal is, this gym will teach you the worth of hard work and discipline. Coach Al is a mastermind when it comes to technique and notices small details that many others would overlook. Coach Chris is the life of the gym, really funny and honest dude. For anyone who is trying to lose weight, expect that weight to fly off at EQBC. For those looking to get into boxing and learn the sweet science, this place is fundamentally sound. I have been to other fighting gyms, but none of them came close to the feeling that I get at EQBC. They even have classes for kids and women! All the equipment that you will need is sold at EQBC. I still have a lot to learn myself, but I am glad that venture will be made at this gym.

emily polanco: I was hesitant to join at first since I have never boxed before and it is a male dominated sport. However, after training with Coach Nabeel I can confidently say that I gained so much knowledge about the sport. He made the learning process so simple to understand. I was able to learn much more than anticipated. I have already recommended him to some of my friends.

Mike Green: Great boxing gym

NoahBG: Great spot. A++

Jeanette Alli: Robbed my daughter of over $350 and refuse to discuss the matter with her directly. don’t give money to the gym. owner is a cheat and a fraud.

Kristin Alli: . I’ve boxed for years with many coaches. During my 1-1 session

Fred weisberg: I'm 70 years old and recently joined, they got me ready and already competed,a great place for people of ALL ages, this is a place to really learn how to box,not just throw punches, I will be a lifelong member!!!Coach Al and the staff are very helpful and understanding.

Daniel Seaman: Great gym and equipment very respectable athletes

Nick Tylah: Horrible gym, light skin dude named Chris was very rude

Jonah Berman: A great boxing gym in Queens! Very legit boxing club where everyone is humble. Great workout for any age or type of person, but they also support aspiring athletes that wish to really fight and compete in the sport of boxing. Coach Al is a also very straight forward and honest coach.

Sweatbox Brooklyn: what do users think?

Liliana Barba: I love the environment, the trainers are excellent, every day I learn something new and improve, the atmosphere with my super cute gym mates, everything here feels like family...

Tyler Campbell: This boxing gym is awesome!

Yahudah Brown: Absolutely perfect!

Akbar Makhkamov: Gym is top G , coaches have an experience and you learn a lot , atmosphere makes you moving

Cintia Simoes: Great gym with brand new equipment. Will definitely try a class again.

Millk A.D. Toussaint: The name of the place, fit the place. LoLI was sweating like crazy. LoL And yes it felt like I was in a, sweat box. LoL

Dion Krasniqi: Amazing I won a street fight in self defense with this training amazing I love the coaches I went to 6 different boxing gyms and this is the best one by far love it!!!!!!!!!!

Victor Castillo: boxing skills—from footwork, to head movement, and yes punches. Each class is lead by a ring experienced Coach, so they know what they’re talking about. It’s common to have your class coach to point out any weakness you may be showing and advice on corrections, leading to less injuries and a deeper understanding of Boxing fundamentals. This alone justifies the monthly cost, as you are not only paying for a full service gyms facilities, but the knowledge you gain from all the coaches. This is real self defense. You will be sparring lightly in some classes. You will learn how to move around, slip, and counter, as if you were in a real boxing bout, and you will sweat

BK Net's County: Gym is basically boxing for fitness The area has no parking available. They have same hourly group classes which includes switching up drills+members. 1st time day class is free afterwards Gym requires you to choose a plan or pay for a day With a app.

Dan Aran: Amazing coaches and staff, great facilities, and good vibes.

L Junito: My Cousin put me on to this place to train. Very good place to learn Boxing, Good Trainers with a wealth of knowledge in the heart of Sunset Park.

Sky: Are there any Chinese coaches?
