The Compleat Strategist: what do users think?

Stefano: Love it

David Herlocker: Ok...wow. it's a game store...where you can actually BUY games...not a game store where you play games and they sell a few games on the side, but they have an inventory of about 10 "game" stores...and it's stacked to the ceiling. See pictures for details.Staff is extremely knowledgeable. I listened to several conversations on recommendations for different styles of games. They know their stuff.I highly recommend you move this store from out of the shadow of the Empire State Building down to the Brandon area in FL...just a suggestion.Oh, and if you are in the area, that big building to the west is cool, but not as cool as this little treasure trove of games.

Pammy Land: Jigsaw puzzles selection is awesome in this cave of a store. They have the brand I love Ravenburger.

Whiskey Fife: Tons of options, a great place to visit if you’re looking for something you haven’t played before. The selection of magic the gathering products are limited.

Kevin Kelly: Picked up some new paint for my Necrons, best prices on the Citadel paints anywhere. Always lots of new Warhammer models to choose from

Victor Rivera: Impressive selection of board games and table top wargaming. Lots of stuff for DnD and Warhammer fans. I went there primarily to see painting supplies, they don't have much selections but do have a little bit of everything. You can definitely get everything you need in there. Super friendly staff!

Justin F: One of the best gaming stores out there! Good selection, friendly staff. Cluttered as all hell, though.

Lupe Rodriguez: This was my first time going here and immediately felt the love of this place. The person who took care of me was super genuine and nice and very welcoming. They have an insane amount of games. You'd probably have to spend all day in there to see everything. I will definitely be coming back.

Capitaine Flam: Très large choix de jeux de société et rôle dans un espace restreint , vous ne savez plus où mettre de la tête .

William Roberths: Chock full of boardgames. An experience just to look around.

Christopher Webb: I’ve been going here since 1981. Still the best gameshop ever.

Alexander Smith: Decent prices compared to online vendors, and the merchandise variety is quite high for the store size.

Twenty Sided Store: what do users think?

JAMES BROWN: it’s a tabletop game shop. It’s exactly what you expect. Heavy on the magic. Great staff. Luis hosted the commander event I was at. Great host. Will come back with friends.

Barry Silverman: A great place for board games. Good selection of games and friendly, helpful staff.

Anna: Really cool space to play board games with friends! Staff is very nice and everything was organized. $10/person for the day to play board games. And they have snacks for purchase.

Michael T. Astolfi: Now the best gaming event space in NYC!

Matthew Wien: Had a fantastic experience with the team there. They guided me to two new games that I previously had no knowledge of. I live out of town and I will be purchasing my games here instead of Amazon.

Renée Frenette: Great selection of board games, card games, role playing games and gaming accessories- all very well displayed. Staff came over to ask if we were looking for anything particular they could direct us to. Very friendly and approachable. Would go back if I am in the area again.

Ivett Navarro: Always a joy to be un the store

A Stump: SoSoSoMuchFun!!!!!

rhys stevenson: Amazing store! All the workers are kind and passionate about the hobby.

The Brooklyn Strategist: what do users think?

A Bille: A great and friendly place for playing commander.

C. Farley: Had a great time playing games here with my family this morning. Cafe, storefront, gaming space all in one. Love it! Will be back again

Cassie Nadzam: Highly recommend! Employee was very helpful in recommending new games and was really engaging. I purchased a game he recommended and it’s awesome! So glad I stopped by

Francesco Ascenso: Bel negozio con anche possibilità di mangiare e bere e giocare. Speravo in un assortimento più ampio

Taylor Arluck: The Brooklyn Strategist is one of those rare places that has become a pillar of the Brooklyn Heights community, especially for casual and competitive Warhammer 40K gamers. Zeke, who has spearheaded the store's wargaming scene, deserves special attention and praise for his stewardship of what has become a truly welcoming space. Whether you're a gamer, student, or neighbor, there is something for you, I promise, at this special place.

Brian Mee: I bought a backgammon set for $50 and the quality was terrible. I came back to return it and was told they could not accept it because it had been opened. I don’t know how they expect me to know that it was of poor quality without opening it. The felt was ripped and the pieces are too small for the slots. I went out of my way to support this local small business and was let down completely. I am extremely disappointed and will not be coming back or recommending this business to anyone.

Michael Park: and never made to feel bad when he is learning a new game. It's great for adults too - just stop by with some friends and play one of the gazzilion games for a couple of hours; you won't be the only people doing that. Colourful characters, welcoming atmosphere, knowledgable staff, well run "cafe," and a great location. The perfect place to play!

Nick: A fantastic store with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Zeke has done a great job at growing and supporting the thriving warhammer community there. It’s always enjoyable visiting the store.

Ron P: The community and energy at The Brooklyn Strategist is welcoming and wonderfully managed.Zeke has has done a great job creating a joyful, inclusive wargaming environment, that I'm happy to tell others about.

Casey Adams: I come here just to hang out with Zeke

Dominic Galeano: Such a great spot to hang out and play games. The guy who runs warhammer, Zeke, makes it a place I wanna keep coming back to.

Matthew Wilson: I have been coming to BK Strat for a year and a half now to play warhammer 40k and it is really a special community. Zeke, who runs wargaming, is super committed to the community and has really transformed it since i started going there. He has put the work in to grow the wargaming community and foster a great place to come play.

b m: Amazing place to start any table top hobby. The service is great everyone is helpful. I started my adventure with warhammer a year ago and if not for Ezekiel it would end as fast as it started. He was welcoming to the community he built.

Carb Rydes (CarbRydes): Great local game store. Good stock and plenty of space!

Juan Guachilema: Very good

Fabian Rosado: Amazing place for all ages! Amazing prices! Amazing library of board games! Won't be disappointed!

Christopher Yustin: This place is a fantastic resource. They’re always friendly and helpful and have a great selection of games. The coffee is great too!

C Milg: Had double bday kids party here. Staff took care of everything; couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommend! Thank you Kay! Thank you Alex and crew! 🙏🏼👍🏼❤️

David Kestler: Excellent customer service and friendly staff who are excited and knowledgeable about indie trends. Their selection of board games is curated to have the best oldies and goodies aswell as rare bleeding edge offerings of the tabletop market. The space is cozy, worth the trip to drop in and snag a rare find! This is what we call a pro strategist move.

Jordan Ferrer: Bought from them thru amazon and I had an issue with my adress and they helped me thru everything to solve my problem!! I'm really thankful for the good service and patience they had with me

Michael Schwab: Bought some pokemon cards from them and when received every pack was already opened and all the holo cards have been removed.

Makar Masenko: Great store excellent prices. The workers are really nice and this store is legit .

jack shehebar: They give you great deals, the staff is great, AND they have base set packs OCCASIONALLY.

Merrick 0309: Scammers they open and reseal products

Alex Ljuljdjurovic: Have a lot of knowledge on the items they sell and very professional 👍

Colin Kelly: This seller is selling tampered with products as new on amazon and abusing the reviews system to have these reviews removed from it's rating. Bought a commander deck that was conveniently missing the most valuable card.

V G: Got my order mint, great quality

Chips T. God: Nice place

King indoraptor: Love this place

mike Wilhelmy: Tried to buy a booster box of Evolving Skies on amazon, these guys were the sellers… they sent me an Astral Radiance box instead that just had a sticker that said evolving skies. Complete scam paid for a $200+ box and got one that goes for less than $100

Dynemonic _: very chill and very good i bought pokemon cards and they had a lots of selections
