Tim S.: I guess I should expect as much from Manhattan, but paying $28 for a four pack of craft beer that is not barrel aged or a specialty beer is ridiculous. Iโd much rather just go out to a bar than spend my money here. The only reason why I gave this place two stars is because I read in other customer reviews that you can buy cans individually in order to try a variety of beers and not commit to one; something I wish I would have know ahead of time. Then again I wish I wouldโve known a lot of things ahead of time like the prices they charge and probably would not have made a trip in the first place ๐คฃ

Earl DePass Jr.: by requiring you to purchase a bottle opener. They never even gave me a reason why. Perhaps there is a law, or something,that requires the buyer to open the bottle themselves. They gave me no explanation, so I told the snobs to take their $16 bottle of overpriced beer back.
Ren ato: Yes, they have an eclectic selection of beer, and the location is PRIME! But that can't justify a 100% markup on beer. I am not cheap by any means, but charging $24 for a pint I could buy elsewhere for $12. One and done!!

Everyone at the party was gushing about the quality of cheeses, meats, style of the display and cookies. It went so far beyond my expectations. Escapa HotSpot: Meh. I visited yesterday for the 1st time. Small place with one man behind the counter. The beer fridges were about 60% full, mostly with local cans and boring imports. I asked the guy behind the counter if they have anything from Rogue Brewery out of Oregon, and he told me Rogue is too "mainstream" for them. I mentioned they have Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and Founders All Day IPA, and he just sniffed. $5 for a 12 ounce can of 5% lager made just a few short miles away in Brooklyn. I can get a 24oz of imported lager at the supermarket for $3. $3 more if you want to consume that can of lager on site. I do like the neighborhood though. Point for that.
