Jodie Wilson: This place is wild, they have A LOT of stuff, and because of that it's sometimes hard to find what you're looking for. Staff are very friendly, though, and happy to help if asked.FYI: there is a wait for balloons at graduation time, get your order in early!
Catherine H: I had an event for work last month and had a major balloon fiasco at 7AM, with the event beginning at 9:30AM. We frantically called Village Party Store and the owner kindly opened his doors 45 minutes early for us and we were able to get all of the balloons we needed, blown up, strung, and weighed. Literally SAVED us. So thankful and would totally recommend to anyone!

Peter Marino: There are always plenty of popup costume shops around Halloween but this is one of the few places where you can get costumes year round, as well as just about any kind of party supply, decoration, prop etc that you can think of. Plus greeting cards, balloons, and more. To top it off it's a local family business and not some faceless chain store. Worth your money for that alone!

Oscar Salazar: . As a matter of emergency I got the facial hair but looked really old, $20 they were trying to rip it off from the hanger. I asked for a plastic bag but then she was charging me more for the wig! and then she said… you can carry it with you why do you need a bag? Ok! Btw they got a lot of stuff, but then one wig was $50! most of the things piled up getting old and destroyed. Placed is very run down.

Julie Harsh Oberst: I found Caroline on Google, and I am so glad I did! I live in SC and wanted a balloon bouquet for my son. It was the opening night for the first musical he composed and directed in NYC, and I couldn’t be there. Caroline asked me questions about what I liked, what my son would like. When the bouquet arrived, my son was overwhelmed by how perfect it was for that night! He sent me several pictures, and I can truly say, I was so pleased with the quality of the balloons, the choices Caroline made added such a personal touch, and they looked as if I had hand picked them myself. Being unable to attend such an important night in my son’s life was hard, but seeing the smile on his face in a photo he sent me with the fabulous balloons made me feel I had done just the right thing. And, you get so much for your money!Excellent prices with excellent service! Caroline’s does beautiful work with a personal touch that makes your gift special!

Adam Sarr: My son just can’t get enough of balloons and I loved how accommodating the staff were to help me find the perfect one without overspending. I wish I started with this location but nonetheless, note that the delivery system is impeccable! They are owed more than 5 stars.

S Cruz: Today I went to the Fordham Store location for an item that was not in stock. I called the 230th Street location to see if this item was in stock.. an angel named Kiana answered my call. She was so diligent and attentive! She checked not just for the item I needed but also for a 2nd item, and put me on hold to go back and confirm the prices for me.. I have never patronized Party City but I was so highly impressed by the service that you niw have a loyal customer and wanted to give Kiana the recognition she deserves for her work!
