Dance Fever Studios: what do users think?

Gina Lepore: Attended my first beginner class followed by a social. Had a lot of fun and met lots of great people. Coming back for classes

Olga: Amazing experience with this Dance studio. We took lessons for our wedding day, Noelia was absolutely the sweetest and was super accommodating when we had to bring our toddler with us. We learned so much with every lesson and the dance turned out beautiful.

nancy duong: My husband and I went to Dance Fever Studios to learn a first dance for our wedding. Noelia was a lot of fun and we learned so much from her!

Gabriella Carbone: Dance Fever is always a blast. I’ve learned so much as the instructors make it fun and easy. I’ve only been dancing there for a few months and I feel much more confident at any dance opportunity in the city. I’ll be dancing with them for a while!!

Robert Wheeler: . We actually looked pretty cool dancing at the wedding.

John Shields: Noelia and Francis are the best! I have been taking private lessons with Noelia for almost 2 years and she is amazing. I started with salsa and now have also added Bachata, Cha Cha, Merengue, and Hustle to my repertoire. The group classes are fantastic learning environments as well. And the socials are great places to meet new and interesting people while practicing all I have learned in the prior weeks. I intend on coming here for lessons for many years to come.

Mary: I was referred to Dance Fever Studios by my brother. Noelia is an excellent teacher. As a beginner dancer I appreciate Noelia's patience and instruction. The dance studio is beautiful. A++++.

Tito Dominguez: Great spacee to dance

Megan Roethlein: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueMy husband and I took 5 dance lessons with instructor Noelia for our wedding. She was fantastic! We were so nervous going into our first dance, but she coached us through every step and was very encouraging. Francis and Noelia were both very professional and communicative. We love Dance Fever Studios!

Emily Craddock: of salsa lessons and several beginner/intermediate classes at Dance Fever Studios. Francis and Noelia are very experienced, emphasize the importance of fundamentals, such as, footwork, keeping a beat, Latin motion, poise, etc. They are both patient and break down steps in a way that is understandable and easy to follow. The studio itself is beautiful and considering the size of most spaces in NYC, the amount of space you have to dance around in is a luxury!

esteban salazar: My girlfriend and I have been taking private and group salsa lessons with Francis and Noelia for almost a year, and we love it! The classes are challenging but fun. Highly recommended.

koni hong: . My husband and I took many classes for our wedding - for slow dance and salsa. We were so surprised how much we improved over the few months, especially my husband who couldn’t dance! Also, the class packages are very reasonably priced.

Elaine Tanella: Great dance studio! My husband surprised me with dance lessons in the weeks leading up to our wedding. We both had a lot of anxiety about our first dance in front of folks. Noelia was our instructor, and she was awesome! She was patient, funny, and kind. She made us feel comfortable and helped build our confidence. Everyone was wowed by our first dance routine, all thanks to Noelia! We are looking forward to returning to Dance Fever Studios to take some additional classes or lessons to brush up on other dancing skills. It was such a fun experience!

Amanda Rosner: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueMy husband and I cannot thank Noelia and Brooklyn Dance Fever enough! We started lessons 2 months prior to our wedding, so we needed speedy lessons. Noelia was extremely talented, patient and a great teacher. We nailed our first dance thanks to her! I highly recommend Noelia and Dance Fever Studio!

Buzz Bey: Critical:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Valuefrancis lied to us and said the fire marshall shut the venue down...seems he just didnt want black people in his space. We have the text message to prove it!

Wisam Abbadi: Positive:Communication

madison chris: Critical:CommunicationThey hung up on me when asking about dance classes.

Emma Crone: I don't dance and everyone knows it. My wife thought to exploit this fact by planning a swing dance routine for our wedding. She found Dance Fever Studios and Noelia. While I was excited by the idea ofshocking our friends at the wedding, I was not committed to following through with the plan if it wasn't working out well. Then we had our first lesson and I found out that Noelia is a great dancer and a great *instructor*. I was hooked. She trained us for over ten weeks leading up to the wedding and she's everything I want in a teacher. She's clear, direct, and she was aggressive with our faults. The big day has come and gone. Noelia wasn't there but she was a huge part of it.Thank you, Noelia! We so appreciate you.

Lorenz Latin Dance Studio -Manhattan: what do users think?

Suzette Burgess: I have taken Salsa, Bachata, and Cha Cha Cha at this studio. The instructors are knowledgeable and patient. The Socials give you an opportunity to practice with both new and seasoned dancers in a comfortable environment.

Elizabeth Mena: that you will never resell for even $15. Also beware of the envious attitude of untalented female students who act like gangs. I can say that everything I know about dance I learned in 4 months in my country, what I would not have learned here in years. I thought about it a lot before continuing and paying for the month and after an incident of violence against me by one of these women

Victor Stanton: Great environment to learn how to dance salsa and bachata. The socials are fun. The instructor Chris is phenomenal even though Rosh can be a little annoying, jk, they are both great.

Giveback 2022: Nice environment great teachers they offer children and adults classes . They have socials on Fridays and some Saturdays.

Anyela Guerra: No lo recomiendo mala atención , impuntual en el horario y no dan buena información y para trabajar con niños lo primordial es eso

Wilma Burgos: Love this place great instructors .

Veronica Cintron: Positive:ProfessionalismI took dance classes for 2 yrs at this studio and have nothing but positive things to do say. All the staff are friendly, positive, and very patient. Chris and Raj both really breakdown the steps and make it easy to follow. I’m going back.

Salsa Salsa Dance Studio: what do users think?

Francesca Gutierrez: Such a fun classes, builds from previous weeks so you are continuously reviewing and learning, the instructors are amazing and keep the classes very entertaining. There are a variety of latin dance class options with different times to accommodate all types of schedules

y lotson: Salsa Salsa Dance offers a great foundation in Mambo On2, as well as other Latin dances, in a welcoming and friendly, family-like atmosphere. Their prices are reasonable and they’re conveniently located in the Downtown Brooklyn area.

Nicole Gerbush: Jason creates such a wonderful class environment- encouraging, supportive & fun while also providing constructive feedback. I always have such a blast in class and would highly recommend!

Marlon Figueroa: Took private lessons with Sael Nuñez- we can’t say enough how professional and thoughtful he is! Sael taught us the mechanics and steps with patience and made it fun. If you’re serious about learning how to salsa, look no further.

Tiffany Hsu: We booked Brianna for private lessons to do a custom choreographed first dance for our wedding. Brianna exceeded even our wildest expectations with her amazing choreography and teaching style. We were not dancers by any stretch of the imagination and after two months of private lessons Brianna said we looked like athletes on the dance floor. Brianna choreographed a custom wedding dance for us, consisting of ~1min of Dua Lipa’s “Levitating” and ~1min of Rihanna’s “We Found Love.” We wanted to incorporate some classical dance moves along with pop and hip hop moves, which Brianna wove together seamlessly.Brianna broke down our dance into a small series of moves and helped us learn the steps and choreography as well as dance fundamentals that served us well throughout our lessons. Brianna was patient, kind, and adaptive to our feedback on the moves and how we learned best. Brianna made changes to the choreography as she learned more about how we danced as a pair and based on our direct feedback to her. We finished learning the full dance in 7 out of 10 lessons, leaving the last 3 lessons to practice and polish the dance. On our last day, Brianna brought in a friend to pretend to act like a cheering, distracting audience to help us prepare for the vibe of the big day. This is just one example of how Brianna went above and beyond to ensure we were prepped, excited, and confident for our big performance. Our families and friends were floored by our dance and it was one of the top highlights of our wedding, and quite possibly our lives. Briana was a huge driving force behind enabling this to happen. We highly recommend Brianna as a dance instructor and choreographer for your dance!

Josephine Ferraro: I was looking forward to my beginner Salsa class, but the experience was very disappointing. First, they had us stand outside in the heat with one person coming around to check us off. That took 15 minutes. The worst part was they enrolled 65 people into the class in a small studio. There was no room to move and when the lines rotate and you’re in the back, you can’t see the instructor.

Yesenia Perez: Excellent instructors, excellent customer service, great atmosphere, wonderful people, love the flexible structure of classes, and reasonable pricing.

brunson alexander: the teachers are really kind & so helpful when it comes to technique footwork and styling. all around big fan - i’m addicted

Alberto Torres: I had my first private dance lesson yesterday with Ana Sofia Dallalat Salsa Salsa Dance Studio's and she was great. She took it very slow with me was very patient and encouraging. She gave me lots of tips that will accelerate my ability to dance Salsa as I am in the beginners stages. Thanks Ana Sofia Dallal I will definitely take more private lessons with you.

Ashka Dymel: All instructors are extremely professional and knowledgeable. The classes are fun and challenging.

Наталья Жуковская: I think it's the one of the best plays for dancing. Good teachers and atmosphere.

Jay James: Salsa is life and Salsa salsa dance studio and instructor Jason are awesome!

William Garcia: I've been to numerous salsa schools throughout all of NYC..Salsa salsa is by far the best!!! The absolute greatest instructors and learning environment!

Lauren Langford: Great instructors and great music.

ashley masula: I found Salsa Salsa by walking past a tent on Vanderbilt Ave one day. I visited the website and saw a new beginner’s class starting a week later. I was nervous I would show up and be the only person alone. I was floored by the range in age and diversity in the room and touched by how many New Yorkers wanted to come learn something new. Our teachers, Jose and Priscilla, craft a classroom with energy that is vibrant, positive and joyful. I thought I could learn a new hobby but I didn’t expect to be welcomed into a flourishing community predicated on inclusion. I’ve lived in NYC for 15 years and I think this is the kindest group of people I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with. I look forward to class every week.

MaRtA aSí: Excellent instruction to get you dancing, and dancing with style. I came to Salsa Salsa 7 years ago at an advanced intermediate level to learn how to lead. I learned a lot here from talented and knowledgeable instructors who took my dancing to the next level. I’ve had the pleasure and opportunity to dance at many sites of Salsa excellence in New York City as well as other places nationally, and Salsa Salsa is definitely the best. They also have a generous selection of class choices every day, including technique workshops on technique such as styling & spinning.

Chanel Thomas: Because Salsa Salsa is my dance studio home. For more than 15 years attending the instruction has consistently been the most thorough and effective. The welcoming feeling has kept me coming back year after year. And Joseph Medina is hands down, one of the absolute best instructors and funny and kindest spirits there. As long as that does not change I will always recommend Salsa Salsa dance studio to anyone looking to learn. I love it.

BAILA Society: New York Salsa Classes: what do users think?

Sarah Berquist: I have enjoyed every single class I have taken with the teachers from Baila Society. Ahtoy is a masterful educator! They go beyond teaching just the technical steps and take time to share the culture of the dances and build community in their classes.

Katarina Sundqvist: Love the beginners classes. Great teachers. Also great that is drop in classes. Can really recommend

Jennifer Dillon: We took an awesome Salsa class on zoom on Valentine’s Day Organized by Ailey extension. I’m a serious ballet dancer and my husband is a total novice and we both loved it. the instructor was OUTSTANDING

K P: Annoyed that you have to find studio space for private classes and it’s a separate charge. Skip.

James Christie: The teachers are very good!

chandan nath: Didnt really enjoy the teaching style

Pele Rivera: . Each of the three teachers was vying to be heard above the loud music, and with so many noise sources the students were straining to hear and follow. A shambles - very disappointing.

Samira Ocampo: Excellent

George Duran: Excellent place to learn to dance salsa and something else!!! Even people with two left feet can easily learn.Salsa music is a mix of African and Caribbean sounds. These are sounds like son, mambo, bomba, and plena. Salsa is a term that describes various rhythmic and instrumental styles that originated not only in Puerto Rico, but also in Cuba, the Dominican Republic, and yes, the United States. This style is of rhythmic patterns that is known as "Clave." What distinguishes these rhythms is this rhythmic pattern whose presence and role are strictly maintained by musicians who specialize in salsa. These people believe that the basis of these rhythms is held together between the musical styles of African and Caribbean origin. Many people believe that salsa originated in Cuba. Others think it originated in Puerto Rico. The reality is that salsa originated in New York. Salsa started with a group of young musicians from New York. They mixed many sounds and rhythms to make a new type of music that has the flavor of Afro-Caribbean music and at the same time a unique flavor.

Victor Jerez: From Fueket 🤤

Cat Gloria: One of the best places to not only learn but also dance sensual bachata that is comparable to Spain.

Maria Bobik: Sensual Movement has the absolute best events, venues, instructors, and attendees!

Haelly Kirk: When it comes to dancing events and studios, organization is key. The directors and leaders are the most organized and visionary group you will encounter. Planning events can get chaotic and it shows for the attendees, I’ve never felt this way at a sensual movement Congress or event. It’s always seem less, well advertised, well attended, and just an extremely fun time. Every time I go to a sensual movement Congress or event, they make the experience better than the last. They bring in world renowned artists, plan events in the most gorgeous locations and hotels, some events are all inclusive which is so hard to come by! They focus on tiny details like free pizza for some pool parties. Sensual Movement over delivers every time and you never feel like you didn’t get your monies worth at these events. The dancers are incredible and I love their movement! I will forever be loyal to the sensual movement company, they are my absolutely favorite congress event planners and dance community!

viokristy: I went there on friday as they were advertising a social night after lessons, in they facebook page have amazing pictures of a club, but the place is actually a simple studio, not a bar, not a place for social friday night if you are a tourist and just looking to dance

Diego Acosta: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueThe best Sensual Bachata company in USA, hands down! They always provide quality and put the best talent out there - instructors, djs, socials and festivals!!! Now they opened up in Florida! Can not wait to see which state they will take over next!

Ahil Ponarul: Taken a lot of bachata classes, and these are some of the best

Tian Chen: If you are looking for sensual bachata in NYC, this is the school definitely worth checking out. They have weekly classes, special workshops, performance teams, and upscale rooftop socials with amazing views of NYC skylines, and their own Myrtle Beach Congress!

Maria K.: If you love sensual bachata this is the best place in Νew York. Not only you will actually learn how to dance but also you will feel part of a group with really friendly and supportive people. I love dancing here and wouldn't change it for nothing!

Club Cache: what do users think?

Ali Akhavan: They refunded me when the class did not start.Excellent customer service!!Service: 5/5 …

Carlos Soto: BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR BELONGINGSI went last Saturday with my friends and left our stuff in the storage and the guy from the storage presumptively took out my friend's purse with her credit cards. Why do you offer a service to safeguard your stuff when they are not safe????We came back the next day and the guards didnt do anything at all to help. By their reaction, it seems they are used to this kind sus behaivor.STAY AWAY FROM THIS SKETCHY PLACE

Lindsay: Great vibes, fun dancing and awesome community. Will be back!

M Koti: It is Not a place for Salsa dancing , even though they advertise it. It’s just a Latin night club, playing mostly Latin pop music. $20 cover charge hurts for DJ music in some upstairs joint.
