Lorraine Mcgowan: I found a member their staff very rude and unhelpful today. Having bought several items in their store over the years including big items such as a double stroller, bassinet, piggy back board and not to mention several presents for birthday parties I don’t think it’s too much to ask for a little bit of friendliness when you enter a shop.The shop was completely empty so it definitely wasn’t the case that she was too busy but she certainly didn’t want to help me. I only wanted to ask about a raincover for my UppaBaby and had my stroller and twins with me but she treated me like i was talking a foreign language and didn’t even want to take the time to look at the stroller even though it was bought in that store. I found her demeanor and tone extremely rude and ended up leaving with my twins.I like to support local shops and businesses but sadly this did not make me want to return.
Ila Muller: Me and my husband went in to review strollers and car seats. Marilyn was incredibly helpful. She is very knowledgeable about all the products and gave us great advice. She was patient and showed us how to open and close each stroller in addition to how to attach accessories/car seats. Marilyn you are wonderful! Thank you again for your expert help!
Rebecca Lopez: This is a great place! Lots of chic items that are fun and wholesome. Customer service is amazing! I called just before closing that I was running late for a gift and to please wait for me I would be in and out. The owner not only waited for me, but asked what I needed and had it ready at the counter when I arrived. She also wrapped it in tissue paper with a nice bag. Amazing service thank you!
Danny Meneses: Babesta is great. The people who work here are wonderful and provide excellent advice. We were having problems with a stroller, walked in, and Hilarri immediately pointed out what we had been doing wrong and put the canopy in place for us. We will definitely be coming back and doing our local baby shopping at Babesta.

Megan Mucci: My husband and I went to Babesta at the recommendation of a nanny friend of ours and we are so pleased we decided to visit! Hillary greeted us with so much warmth and walked us through everything we needed to know about every product we had questions about. She showed us how to fold each stroller, how to switch them from single to double and allowed us to test them up and down the street outside the store. She was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and kind. She even said we could call the store any time if we thought of more questions. We will definitely be coming back! Thanks, Hillary!

Deniz Zorlu: We purchased a Cybex Mios for our son less than a year ago. At the time of purchase, customer service was fantastic. However, our stroller broke down fast and hard in less than a year. Because we are under the warranty, we have been trying to get it replaced.The same level of customer service was simply nowhere to be found. Despite multiple attempts to reach out to them, Babesta was simply unresponsive and claimed that we need to reach out to the manufacturer, even though the website clearly says that the retailer should help.Overall, pretty disappointed and will take our business elsewhere next time.

I am a full time working mom, I would love to come in more often for random thhings I need with a toddler/baby but unable to because by the time I am home they are closed and weekends get so busy for us. I end up having to order online for whatever I need instead. Wish they were open until 6pm atleast x

Yardenne Kagan: Terrible customer service experience. We were there with our son after we promised him we will go to minijake all week so he can choose a present for his birthday. Once we entered they told us he needs to be in his stroller because he is not 3 years old, which is super random as he was not misbehaving just wanted to walk around and choose a present. They even did it let us pick him up. Only be in the stroller. This made him upset and we had to leave the store. We had our registry for him with the store even though it is our over priced and not worth it but we wanted to support a local business and we’re planning to do the same for our expected baby girl. Thanks Very disappointing experience you would think that a toy store for children would be a little more understanding and have a welcoming approach towards children. Never ever going back! Overpriced store with bad attitude!

We were two adults and spent a while there, and I could've browsed a lot longer.For purchases of $75 or more, they ship for FREE! Honestly, this is the best independent toy story I've ever seen. So many choices, you don't have to be a neighbor to visit. GO!
Celeste: Mini Jake is too cute! Everything is very clean. The store has a little bit of everything. The selection is incredible and the product quality impressive. We love stopping in for children’s books. Many of our child’s favorite books were found there.

Within 3 days of ordering the item online from Mini Jake, the item arrived from Brooklyn to Virginia wonderfully packaged. So appreciate the quick and great customer service!

My husband and I had no idea what to buy for our newborn and they helped educate us on products and select the best stroller, car seat, etc for us. A S: Mini Jake is the greatest children’s store in NYC!!! They have an eclectic and eccentric variety of toys, books, clothes, books, furniture, strollers, car seats... absolutely everything. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful, especially Bernadette. She never fails to make a great recommendation by listening to what I want and need and always comes through, whether it’s for a new stroller or just a quick birthday party gift. I live in a walk up with two toddlers so I had very specific stroller needs, she seems to know the ins and outs of every item in that store and was so patient and kind when helping me find what I needed. They also do gift wrapping which is super convenient and always cute. Sometimes when we’re strolling by we just stop to say hey to the staff and hang out, that’s how comfortable it is in there. If you stop by on certain days you can also see or join a music class which always seems fun and full! Definitely a customer for life

We were unable to find both at the same time at any location we checked until we got to Bebeang baby store. Everything we were looking for and getting information for was in front of us.
