Attaboy: what do users think?

Chandler Allen: The best cocktail bar experience I’ve ever had. If you want to get in, you need to plan accordingly, which is not difficult to do. We arrived around 6:00 pm, put our names down, and then left for our 6:45 dinner reservation. We finished our dinner without feeling rushed and made our way back to the neighborhood, and waited for maybe another 20 minutes when Attaboy called to let us know they had availability. The timing was perfect. The experience inside is personalized and intimate. The bartenders were attentive and professional. My first drink was everything I have ever wanted in a cocktail! These guys are artists, I recommend watching how they make the drinks because they truly are masters of their craft. From start to finish, Attaboy lives up to it’s excellent reputation.

Josh Allen: All these 1 star reviews are from huffy tourists who are mad they have to wait for one of the best bars in the world.Once you’re inside the bartenders are amazing! Truly world class. But yes you will have to plan ahead and yes wait for a bit. Because yes. This is the best bar you will find.Had 3 of the best cocktails in a row I’ve ever had.Thank you all!

Alyssa Werner: What a wonderful little gem, absolutely worth a wait. Walking through the curtain was like dying and going to cocktail heaven; just describe your perfect drink and you'll get it. Fruity, sweet & sour; smoky and spicy; traditional & old fashioned; ridiculous frufru tiki drinks, they did it all and they were all the best we've ever had

Gabriel Cazaubieilh: . It’s good to have a little drink in the French bar in front of it while waiting!

Natalia Shapiro: Cocktails are creative and tasty. Excellent service and ambience. Amazing place to go to. Friends, lovers, perfect spot.

Regina Kim: I think this experience is VERY good for people who know what they want and know their alcohol. I think I’m a bit less well versed so I was not able to fully appreciate it. I described what I was normally like but the couple of drinks we got were kind of misses, not bad but not great. Maybe not for me especially for the wait but probably better for others who knows what they like and wants to customize their drinks.

A G: It was very good. I got in line abt a half hour before they were supposed to open. I was still Abt 20 ppl back. They started letting ppl in abt 15 min past their opening time. It was rather curt & not exactly hospitable manner in which the line was managed. I had to wait one hour even so to be let in just my party of 1. It was worth it in the end. The drinks were good. Just be nicer whoever runs the door.

Neil D'Souza: Tried to get in. The hostess was beyond rude just to tell us there was a long wait. She was so rude we didn’t even bother coming back when they texted us to let us know it was our turn. I completely get it’s a small space and they can’t fit too many people but no reason to be so rude to someone trying to come into your establishment.

Shalvi Shah: The hostess let people in through “attitude” trials. As mentioned in a few other one star reviews, they have trouble letting certain people in. If you’re brown, your money is no good here. The hostess was catering to a diverse clientele. She decided that us two brown women who had been waiting three hours to get into Attaboy would not have a voice: that black woman was very wrong. I wasn’t able to show my friend from CA a good scene of NYC bars—which formerly included Attaboy.Fire the hostess, improve your service. It’s that simple, really.

Strangelove Bar Nyc: what do users think?

Aaron Glance: My recent visit to Strangelove left me feeling disappointed. While ordering a whiskey coke, I was taken aback when the bartender saw me putting away my money and made an inappropriate comment. As I reached for a dollar bill under the bar to leave as a tip, he asked if I was from New York, insinuating that I should know better about tipping. This encounter left me feeling uncomfortable and undervalued as a customer. Despite the bar's decent selection of inexpensive well drinks, this interaction tainted my overall experience.

R M: It really depends on who's working there, as a bartender.

Samantha Antona: Absolutely the vibe I was looking for

Laura Ramírez: This is just a normal American bar, not punk at all.

Ramsey Kerkula: Great dive bar not too far off midtown area quick beer, shots or something on the the rocks

Nick Demirjian: I was having the worst day I brought my friends for a bachelorette party and the bartender with the handlebar mustache elevated our day and gave us the greatest experience we could have asked for. This is the best bar with the best prices I highly recommend giving this spot a visit, everything about our experience here brighten our day. Thank u!!

Ann Payne: Angry, jealous people and bartender.

Martin Rupsch: Top bar in NYC with top prices. music is good Staff extremely friendly. Real recommendation

Juhan Laos: Previous reviewers have forgot to mention that you have to order specific drinks to get them cheaply: 1 Stella draft beer + 2 shots of fireball + one 6$ cider equals 32! Dollars, but if you order the cheap beer and 2x tequila combo + the same 6$ cider, it's 15 dollars. No menu to be seen, but the math tells that the draft beer or fireball shot were 8 - 9 dollars each. Otherwise nice place if you're into such bars.

Anthony Heller: , it is the cheapest drunk to be had in Manhattan. Aside from the occasional psychopath, the patrons are friendly and happy to know your name.It is recommended that you drink enough to forget you were ever there.

Pvrrp: on a table. A week later I also became pregnant lol, I love this place. Good memories for me & mine 3

David Nasser: Great music great prices , beer plus shot 6 bucks . Friendly bartenders , good all around

Tania Martínez: .Friendly staff and owner!!

Steven Jacob: everyone was chill.

Aaron McKinley: Awesome little dive bar! Prices are reasonable and the environment is exactly what you would expect. Definitely a place to check out.

LB: what do users think?

Cindy Hao: i think this place would be more enjoyable not after hours on a friday. we came at like 11pm and it was pretty packed but only waited maybe 30 min for a table. the drinks were decent and they had allllll the classics - i really liked the nevada but not really the paloma. the table seating area was very intimate and nice though. service was also extremelyyyyyy fast.

Jane Genu: . Drinks are pricy but well worth it.

Marcelo Duarte: The bouncer of the bar insisted to take photos with girls in our group and asked for their phone number, making everyone very uncomfortable and not feeling safe

jake villagio: F***ing amazing

Ray M: Excellent cocktails. Nice underground vibe. One of NY's best speakeasys. Love that the menu has no food except for mixed nuts. 🥃

Dan Brunner: Great drinks and not pretentious- what more do you need 👍🏻✨

Ryan Yelle: . We were given a booth adjacent to the bar, and selected from a menu of both cocktail classics and unique house twists on several common drinks. We enjoyed both the Bee's Knees and Sea Way No. 2. The front area of the was set up for a jazz band later that night, which would be fun to go back and experience. Overall, a cool speakeasy setting with good drinks and ambiance.

Edward Morris: Place almost completely empty - but still not allowed to sit in a booth - “they have to be kept free”. Not very welcoming. Let’s hope some people turn up before the place goes bust. Plus there’s a distinct smell of urine. Could have been a protest at the seating arrangements.

Ryan Jantz: My favorite cocktail bar in the world

Dashiell Menard: This place is the real deal

Dante Tolbert: One of the best and cheapest dive bars in lower Manhattan. Always fun, great bartenders, and filled with characters in every corner. Can't beat the prices or the location. Right up from the F line. Highly recommend it, just don't be pretentious.

Mark Roitburd: Very grunge. Amazing place to be if that’s what you want!

Daniel Alberto: Beware

angiee Marie: They have some good drinks usually packed for good vibes and nice aesthetic

Bill Richards: Enjoyed my drink here, bar is exactly what it says on the tin

Rayven Jackson: Awesome little bar with a cool vibe and awesome interior - drinks are ok🤘

B: Fake dive bar. Cheap. Gross. Better spots nearby but, this place does the trick. Avoid the bathroom

The Back Room: what do users think?

Amanda W: Speak easy bar that is one of the only two speakeasies from the prohibition era in NYC today. .The entrance is the same one used 100 years ago, behind a gate that reads “Lower East Side Toy Company”.Love the atmosphere. Relaxed ambience. Drinks are served in coffee cups to preserve the speakeasy feel.Though cocktails not super good so don’t expect world class drinks, but definitely recommended to go for a casual drink before or after dinner.

Marcus Rutter: which were hidden in a brown bag.Overall I would definitely recommend a visit to this wonderful piece of history.

Alex Warner: but he wouldn't even let one of my friends in as he was wearing shorts.

Brian Lewis: was told to take off his hat by the bouncer, only to see another guy

Alexander Kirchberg: This is probably the coolest "speak-easy" in New York. It's small, dark, and beautiful.Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian hotdog options.

Hector LeBron: Had a great experience here. From beginning to end. The drink selection is definitely out if the ordinary. Maybe a little out there for some of us, but man they sure are creative. The whole atmosphere, and the place just vibes.Couples night out, friend's night, or even a date. This is a great place to stop by and enjoy. Just remember to say the password, or they won't let you in.

Steven Peterson: . If you think making a reservation is tricky now, you clearly missed the glorious phone call days and should be thankful.

Andrea D'Arpa: Some of the best cocktails in NYC. This place is perfect for a date, not sure if I would go with friends!Need to book before to go!

Martha hucks: Kayla the mixologist is amazing. The cocktails were superb. The best I have ever had and I've traveled extensively and explored all over NYC. Also, I finally had ice that had an emblem on it. The cocktail I had on the rocks is a Happy Trails with Jananese Whiskey , Yuzu, pineapple and fennel among other things. My friend got the Meres Of Twilight which has gin, peach, honey, mild jalapeño, cucumber and lemon juice. Delicious! We were treated like Queens. The 20$ price tag for the cocktails is well worth this one of a kind experience.

G. R.: What a great find in the middle of some chaotic bars. Upscale speakeasy. Great cocktails and great service.

Raines Law Room Chelsea: what do users think?

Stanley Tucker: Such nice atmosphere

Stephanie Goodman: Amazing bar. Great drinks, great vibe, GREAT bar tenders. So glad we got to stop here for the night

Darren Lau: I was with several friends and tried to walk in yesterdays but it was packed, so the receptionist got my number, put me on the waitlist and said I will get texted when my table is ready in about an hour. But I waited all night long and NEVER got a message, excuse me?????

Ana N: I never leave reviews but the woman Sophia at the door was so racist toward me and my friends and pretended the confirmation of our table being ready was a mistake then took 3 more groups of all white people and said it would be another 45 minutes for us after we already waited 20 minutes and got sent a confirmation text. So rude. I loved being here before but this new door woman was not it. Rude as hell.

alberto caleffi: i cocktail non erano equilibrati e un po’ nauseanti.

Stefano Urbani: Nice speakeasie. Average cocktails

Cindy Hao: -- it's not on the menu. was recommended it by Ali. Benoit was super kind and checked on us to make sure we liked the drink. such nice atmospherecame without a reservation wednesday at 10:20 and seated right away

Gardot M: So so. The garden is a backyard vibe less than a « secret », feels more like an afterthought with fake grass and AC units everywhere. The plus : the people working here are super friendly, but the cocktails are sadly less than extraordinary despite the mega description. Could use a cocktail specialist on the bar and a menu revisit to make it total magic. The inside has great potential to be incredible but for the moment the vibe is a bit stale and kitsch. Good for tourists perhaps. Not really 5 star experience.

Nadav Katz: Great place to drink cocktails, comparing to the other cocktail bars in New York I like this the most

Richard Weiss: I hated this place. Waitstaff are great, though

Scott Lewis: Nb

Laura Esquivel: Cool spot for cocktails. Pricey but neat!

Xavier Tirado: Pretty cool spot for dates don't like the fact there's no bar or you can walk around they treat you like you in school

Blind Tiger: what do users think?

Lucas Martins: As a working physician who enjoys a beer, I use to enjoy this place because of its selection and hours. I walked in there after a late night shift and the bartender was wasted. She looked me in the eye and told me she couldn’t serve me as I had been kicked out of the bar before, which is a blatant lie. She just must think all people of color look alike. Regardless, there is no reasoning with drunks so I left. Never getting my business again. Also way better beer bars in nyc.

Scott Henderson: Great bar with lots of beers available, well worth a visit!

Ryan Rawnsley: Ask for Tucker! He’s The best!

Sara Sheldon: We always stop in when in New York. Great beer joint in the heart of the east village. Great tap list and friendly staff and locals. Eric Patterson: Good place to hang out with friends and family

Joe Pilger: Had a really great time here in this bar! Definetly a must if you just go walk around in West Village and want to drink decent beer

Guillermo Vazquez Iscar: The best craft beer place in NYC. The waiters are especially attentive and friendly.

Amor Y Amargo.: what do users think?

R C: wow

Dennis Li: It's a sweet bar. The drinks are inventive, and you'll probably even be served by the person who invented it! Because they don't use citrus though the drinks can be rather strong.

Nikolas vasquez: Recommended here by countless industry professionals. Aj an Kraig were incredible and the selection/knowledge is matched by few. Highly recommend.Recommended dishes Sharpie Mustache …

Richard Johnson: One of the best cocktail bars in NYC. This is a true cocktail enthusiasts bar. If you haven’t had an amaro, the bartenders will gladly introduce you to the wonders of this liquor. Try the Sharpie moustache, or the 8 Amaro sazerac. You won’t be disappointed.

Chris Zitelli: Longtime patron of this place, but my most recent experience at the cozy little bar just around the corner was substandard. When I go there I know I’ll be spending some money to get a bespoke cocktail, but I received anything but. Most of what I was served was premixed. The bartender was very nice but hey, I could of done what he did. Turned a special little treat for my gf and I into a disappointment. Was bummed.

CreativeDrunk Sother Teague: This place has my heart.
